This place is always on point, the quality is brilliant, the portion size is amazing and the taste is next level. Lots of places around here fail to give the heat of a madras as well as flavour but they manage it! My new favourite, love them!

Good food delivered early but I asked for two chapatis to replace the nann that came with one dish (nanns - £2, chapatis - £1 so two chapatis is an equivalent substitute) and only got one, bit mean I thought. Another point is that they don't have mint sauce as a separate item on their menu. Other than that all good - thanks.

So to start this off I am a picky eater when it comes to takeaway the authenticity of origin/quality and have tried many restaurants in the area since I moved here, I also have never ordered from the same place twice due to the food standard or delivery time that kept jumping from 1 hour to 2 hours of waiting until I tried this place, the food was seasoned and cooked perfectly, one of my dishes was the lamb tikka which was soft cut along the grain making it less chewy and melts in your mouth (first time from restaurant in area) and wanted more after I finished it also arrived 20 minutes early which was a added bonus. Overall I rate this restaurant a 10 out of 10 and definitely will be ordering from here again.

Delivered on a Tuesday. Damask was very watery and had 0 heat or taste of any flavouring Bombay potatoes was just ok Poppadom were ok Bread was very average. Won't be returning, I could do better than this unfortunately

The restaurant manager called me after I place an order to tell me they were short of lamb shops which I didn’t appreciate at all as I think you need to make sure you have enough stock... he was nice though. Beside that the food wasn’t tasty the lamb chop was not spiced and burnt. First time and last time ordering from them.

Not impressed with their customer service. We got take away with no cutleries nor serviettes. We ordered the take away when we were around in the area. So, obviously when we were delivered curries with no cutlery, I am going to call them. But their response was sorry we cannot do anything - we don’t provide those! We drove to their shop to ask for cutleries too and they did not even bother responding our knocks on the door despite being around. Food - below average for an Indian. Cost - Frozen food are better tasting at 1/3rd the price. Will I go back again? Possible never.

Yet again after giving this take away another chance the chicken was of really poor quality like eating a rubber not nice at all I had the buma which was nice taste but the meat was awful won't be using again until they sort out their suppliers

food was very nice, Tandoori chicken was one of the best i have had in 20 years of trying Indian restaurants in and around The UK.

Loved it. Arrived early, Quality was brilliant, portion size was large and flavour was there. I had a madras and it had both heat and flavour rather than the usual just heat. Side of sag aloo was massive too. Really lovely meal. probably the best popadoms and sauces I’ve had in a long while too. I’ll be back!

The Chicken Was Tender and The Spice Was Perfect

Food cold and tasteless - everything tasted watered down (mango sauce, veg curry & chickena tikka masala) Phone restaurant to complain politely and got told if I wanted it hot I should have asked for it. Poor service would not recommend Shame restaurant didn’t deal with it correctly as live 5 mins away but won’t be using again.

Food came really early The chicken tikka masala sauce is absolutely gorgeous. Slightly less chicken than last time but still tasted good. Chicken tikka starter is lovely, chicken very moist and soft Definitely recommend!

Food was good as always. I called the shop as they didn’t have any drinks and they went to the shop and got some drinks too. Can not fault these guys.

The only thing that was good about the food was that it arrived hot. Other than that I’ve never come across anything like it! Absolutely tasteless! Ordered a madras which didn’t taste of anything not even a curry. Tikka masala sauce wasn’t smooth had coconut bits. Popadoms cooked in stale oil. Lamb super chewy. Not prepared to order ever again. If you’re gonna invest in an Indian this wouldn’t be it.

Been using Masala gate for years but sad to say the ingredients used have gone downhill the chicken especially is very poor the last order we had 2 chicken based meals and both of them were like rubber I manage to eat mine but my wife left all hers and its been like this for a few months, now looking for a new Indian until they rectify the problem

spent nearly 40 quid at this place last night. when I got home after collecting some of the order was missing, the food was bland and very greasy, no real heat in any of the dishes, just very sweet, had bombay potatoes with zero spice taste. Will not be going back.

Not all items ordered were delivered but I was still charged!! How do I get a refund on items not delivered?

We ordered the lamb tikka masala, but the meat was inedible due just being chicks of fat/gristle. At one point my husband thought he’d cracked a tooth, but that gritty texture was the outside of the lamb! The food was also tepid at best on arrival, and needed more heating.

Delivery was late, so 8 called restaurant and was told it was en route. I could have walked it here quicker, then the food was very nice. Main wasn’t cooked properly, clearly a rushed job. Unlikely to try again.

Delivery driver twenty minutes late, said he forgot something and drove off again! Came back within ten minutes but we were already starving !

Honestly the worst curry I have ever eaten. The food was bland, the chicken pakora’s were like tasteless chicken nuggets, the meat samosas has a sweet cherry like taste, the food was quite greasy and the meal was accompanied by a random bag of sliced onions. I will give them credit for the plain naan bread though and the food arrived 10 minutes before the ETA.

Food was uncooked, curry was very runny, and the meat smelt bad. Ordered a jalfrazi but meat was hard so was my starter. Tarka daal was very watery and didnt taste good at all. Lemon rice didnt even have lemon in it? More like vegetables. I will not recommend to oder from here again. Very upsetting and unpleasant to throw whole order away.

Good food until the moment I found a chunk of egg shell in the special fried rice sadly put me off eating the rest or ordering from here again :(.

Tikka wrap is brilliant. Naan breads are brilliant. Chips and poppadoms need some work, strange taste on the chips and poppadoms are bland. Otherwise very nice. Ordered from multiple times.

Disgusting, onion bhaji's was pure oil and undercooked, chicken wasn't disgusting couldn't eat it all ended up in the bin! only thing edible was naan bread and rice. Never will I order from this place again stick to your regular or cook it yourself not worth it my dog wouldn't eat it and that not even a joke I put some in his bowl and he turned his nose up at it so it went in the bin. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT JUST EAT WONT REFUND ME!

The People rating this as, good must be on the payroll, very greasy low quality muck, live around the corner and would not go back for free, on the plus side you will not have to queue, EVER.

Tandoori madras chicken, grilled lightly on the outside but extremely tender inside questionable if cooked properly! Sauce was nice, rest of the order was good.

Normally very nice but not this time . Very oily & fatty meat.

The mushroom bhaji was so bland as was the bombay Aloo, it had no flavour at all which was very disappointing. The keema Naan had only a tiny piece of meat through it, normally when I've ordered this from a differnet Indian restaurant the meat is all the way through and not on just 1 corner. The poppadoms and Biryani were the only good things about this take away so for that I won't be ordering from them again.

Food was delivered too quick to be fresh at all. Rice just seems warmed up from day before.

I ordered 4 kormas and a mixed grill. My mixed grill had I small piece of very over cooked lamb, 3 bits of chicken and a leg of chicken. The sauce for the korma was very runny and not like anything I've had before. Half of our poppadoms were under cooked and were actually bendy.
