Very small pub with a good selection of beers. If not crowded, nice to go there for lunch. I have not been there during evenings. My usual lunch pub place now when going to the office. Try the large fish & chips.

We came across this gorgeous British pub by going on a silent disco tour (where the tour starts and ends) we had pre-drinks there and after we stayed for more drinks and food. What a great atmosphere friendly staff! Nothing was too much trouble, food was great! Will definitely go back on my next visit to London!

This is an absolute gem of a place - one of our all time favourites and where we always go when in London town. Went recently with my group of Sue's - the staff are so welcoming and always a lovely atmosphere. The food is scrumptious (I always have their pie's) and very generous portions! Highly recommend a visit.

It is a traditional pub offering a great selection of beers and classic pub food. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, it's a perfect spot for a casual drink or a hearty meal.

Location is great, but bar service is not great. All your good bar stuff don’t appear to be there anymore you have a bunch of new people that have less experience than your old staff and therefore not serving your customers too well just yet.

Visited on the 28th, had a great time staff were very good, one minor niggle is adding a service charge, we ordered drinks at the bar, why was the service charge added, is this common practice?

Lovely off-street boozer, very festive and friendly! Great selection of drinks and warm, welcoming staff. Food is very reasonable for its proximity to Oxford Street.

Always a busy place. This used to be my workplace favourite given it was very close to my workplace. I returned to it after 2/3 years and this place is still as great as always. The service is top-notch and the staffs are all incredibly friendly and professional.

Best place to be in any season. Lovely staff and Amazing vibe and very inclusive I must say. With the seasonal decor like Autumn they also had festive decor like Halloween as well as DIWALI which touched my heart and which also makes this pub very unique and very welcoming. I 100% recomend this pub to everyone who is a sucker for good vibes, gins and people.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, and the service throughout the evening was amazing. The team clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in everything they do. Whether you're popping in for a pint or settling in for a meal, I can't recommend the Marquis of Granby enough. A true gem, with top-notch service and an atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again. Five stars all the way!

Watch out when paying your bill. Bar staff asked me if I wanted a receipt. I said no and the bill came to an amount that was suspicious so I asked for a receipt and the bill suddenly reduced. Staff said it was a genuine mistake but really? Not to be trusted.

I stop by here every time I'm in London. The vibe and the food are great. Definitely worth checking out

If you’re gluten free I would avoid this place. Lovely staff and atmosphere but a lot of confusion from the kitchen as to what contains gluten. My meal was sent back and still came out wrong as kitchen claimed there was gluten in the rice, quinoa and kale. Otherwise great place and helpful staff. The server took my meal off the bill and made it right. I believe they even gave my husband a free dessert. My husband is not gluten free and loved his meal so I’m sure the other options are wonderful however we went based on reviews saying it was gluten friendly and it unfortunately wasn’t.

Jobsworth central, I felt very judged by the bar staff which made it an uncomfortable experience.

They have many beers on tap, with and without alcohol.

Unprofessional, young waiter took our glases after like one sip and when asked why he did it whole staff pretended like nothing happened. Idiots.

The best customer service from Della, was very patient with all our questions and responses and recommendations were very helpful. Will definitely be coming back. 5 star there was 3 of us.

Lovely quaint pub just off of Oxford Street, full of lively people with an electric atmosphere for the Euro game on Saturday 6th, my mum and I visited and were seated by Deetee. Himself, Nidhi and the staff working at 5pm that day in particular were fantastic. Deetee made us feel so welcome, was so chatty and was interested in myself being from an alternate Nicholson’s in the North West - my mum also commented that he was the ‘MVP of The Marquis’ during our visit along with the young man in the Nicholson’s top collecting the glasses in and brought our food out. She loved it, which is what made me happiest. Thank you again, we can’t wait to come back. ❤️

We stopped here for a few drinks and found that it’s a lovely and cozy place to enjoy a great time. Staff were very welcoming and respectful and every thing was up to the mark including drinks service and choice of food.

Standard beers which are good and the service was great however we ordered some chips which has to be the smallest bowl of chips for £5 in London. Then got a large nachos and for £11 got a handful of bland chips, fake (I think it was cheese) a spoonful of toppings. Very disappointed in the food!

Visited on a Friday afternoon and the pub was very busy (after we had walked past the empty Duke of York for obvious reasons). Wouldn't want to need the loo when I was drunk as they are steep and the steps are not as wide as normal.

Fish finger sandwich was just batter with barely any fish. Not worth it. We booked in advance and our group only ordered sandwiches. Spent £16+ for a pint of lager and a sandwich. Took 50 mins for sandwiches to be served. Wouldn't recommend if you want to go for a quick pub lunch.

Recently visited this pub for a business lunch as a group of 12. None of us were satisfied. The food was HORRIBLE ! We ordered sandwiches which were cold and took them 1 hour to prepare. Sandwiches were just full with mayo. The salad with chicken was a disaster. The chicken was burnt on the outside and there were no pumpkin seeds or rice or crispy kale as it was said on the menu. Just some leaves, 2 small pieces of mango, 1 edamame bean (literally). Overall highly overpriced! Not recommended!.

We had come here, pre-booked as a group of 12 for lunch and it took them over an hour for every plate to arrive, all arriving very staggered. We only ordered sandwiches and each one was not great. Cold club sandwiches and wrong orders. Don’t recommend coming here for food.

Comfortable with tasty food and drink

Decent Nicholson's pub with lovely Plum Porter pint. Really friendly. My visit was with family after meal late Thursday afternoon. Pub was gradually filling up and I could tell they were expecting a regular large crowd as they had plenty of staff on. If I was working still and in this area I would be a frequent visitor for sure. I recently visited Marquis by granby and I must say I had an amazing experience that I couldn’t resist to share it in here. The food was top absolutely scrumptious and what made my experience more better was the staff experience. The staff in here are not just friendly but they went out of their way to make my visit more pleasant. Their sweet smiles and willingness to help at every step of the way indeed added a special touch to my experience. Talking about the ambience here, it is fantastic and it gives an extremely cozy vibes Overall, I must say it’s one of the best places to relax and chill with friends or family :)

Too busy. It doesn't lend itself well to large attendances. The service was more than adequate but that was before the masses descended. I've been on another occasion at lunch time and found it way more comfortable.

An old favourite haunt, traditional soho pub vibe

The atmosphere of this pub was very cozy on a slow night. My friends and I had some good drinks and enjoyed the pub after a long day. The staff was friendly and I really appreciated the inclusivity with the pride flags hanging around the bar.

My partner and I visited the Marquis of Granby for food and drinks on Friday 30th, and had a brilliant time. The staff, led by manager Santha, are all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a local pub, despite being in central London. Everywhere is absolutely spotless, including the bathrooms, and the staff were very attentive in wiping down tables and ensuring everywhere was clean and Friday. The food was delicious and tasted fresh and hot, and the beers were cold and lively! Couldn't ask for more in a pub, so shout out to Santha for creating such a lovely spot - we will definitely be back!

Had an after work gathering here. It was heaving lucky we reserved a space. We had a variety of food: chips, nachos, salted peppers, halloumi fries, fish gougons and all were delicious 😋 the wine was expensive. But we had a fantastic time.

Full of old world charm, this is a real gem of a public house. Fantastic range of gin and the pie's not bad either. Marvellous.

What I'd call a traditional London lunch pub, offering the standard fayre with a stock selection of beers mainly driving business based on its location. As per usual with such establishments, people ordering 20 pints for the office and 2 people serving, so plenty of queues and not so many smiles.

Really rude staff- glass collector was lovely but everyone else was a let down, wouldn't let people go to the toilet as the night ended because they cleaned it before closing (without warning), when people were ordering drinks they were patronising and treating costumers like a chore. Wouldn't recommend for a fun time.

Rude staff and very unwelcoming. The beer was off and glasses are dirty. I didn’t bother to complain or mention how off the beer was because the staff were already very rude. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. There’s far better public houses in the area

I like Nicholson's Pubs. This one is a bit funky. Tiny bowl of chips took quarter of an hour to arrive. Bartender asking me about seven questions for a simple order. They close really early for a Friday - which I guess is Brexit no-fun lets-kill-London overlords. I dunno. I just feel like this place should sparkle and it feels a bit like a drip.
