Less than after a year of opening this place is in need of a refurbishment, the toilets have been stinky and out of date since day one, I don’t know if their kitchen or bar staff have their own toilet but if they’re using these toilets then don’t ever eat here. The Garden is a mess, weeds everywhere, a wasps nest that has been reported several times but is still there, stink coming from the toilets, old splintered furniture. It’s such a shame as it’s in a prime spot overlooking the water gardens and could be so much better and at £3:80 a pint cheapest then I expect better. They do have free WiFi, free jukebox and show sports on small televisions, also pool and darts but if people are playing pool and darts then you can’t watch TV. Sadly I believe this pub won’t be around much longer and is a great opportunity missed once again.

Appalling service today, daughter was told she could select any treats from certain section behind counter to get the 2for£4 gift she had, she was then charged £10 for the 2 cakes and small hot chocolate when she questioned it apparently one of the cakes picked didn’t count despite her picking from the section she was told to by staff. What absolute an absolute rip off and joke

St Albans HillThe classic English breakfasts, but in a completely different setting. From the bar tables, you can see the indoor ski slopes, which is great for parents who leave their children with ski instructors. The staff is competent and friendly. It's always crowded, but it's easy to find tables and hairs for breakfast.
