Reason for the 3 stars is because, for the price they should use top shelf sprits in their cocktails! Great atmosphere though…my second time here and not too crowed with some music. But class up the cocktails please!

Great bar..might have to have my birthday drinks here!!

Had food and drinks here last night. When booking we were told our table needed to be returned at a certain time. On arrival they greeted us and after asking about table timings they returned to say we had the table for the night which was fab! Caitlin was our waitress and she was fab! Attentive but not overbearing and chatty too. We had a fab night. Food drinks and service all fab!

Lovely place. It felt more like a bar / restaurant you would expect to find in London, not in Aylesbury. Nice views on the rooftop of the Chiltern Hills in the distance. Recommend for the atmosphere, friendly service, tasty food and great drink selection.

Didn't eat, just went for cocktails. Lovely cocktail on the rooftop terrace. Friendly and accommodating staff. Be aware that there are a lot of steps!

Nice rooftop (overlooks a car park) but nice atmosphere. Service is not great/ staff aren't particularly helpful. Food is very average.

The rooftop terrace is definitely worth visiting, especially on a sunny evening, although we have been on a not so sunny evening and they have plenty of heaters to keep you warm. Excellent food, great service and amazing cocktails!

One of my favourite places, went here for drinks for my Birthday had a lovely time.

I have been here many times, and I love it here! They have a rooftop bar, which you can sit undercover or out in the sunshine. in the winter, they have fire pits which you can relax around. The rooftop has a great outdoor, floral vibe and the staff are really friendly, helpful and will make any cocktail on the menu (and any special requests!) They also have areas inside that you can sit too if you don't want to be outside. The cocktails are all made to order, and they don't scrimp on the alcohol, some other chains use more ice, and watered down alcohol, this is a place where you will get classy cocktails to enjoy, with each cocktail matching the glass to be served in. My personal favourite is the Steve McQueen, and they also made one of my favourites - Singapore Sling, both were delicious! I love it here and visit regularly, and hope others do too, its a great place to sit and be social with friends and family. The food is good too! Perfect!

Had the absolute best time on Father’s Day. All the staff at the manor are just awesome! Want to call out Molly in particular who made us feel incredibly welcome and joined in with the family banter. We had one of, if not the best roast dinner we have ever had in Aylesbury. Thank you for being great, we look forward to many more visits.

I come here often for a drink, always sit on the roof terrace. Always clean and the staff very friendly. Lovely frozen coctails with an offer on at the moment. Dissaponted no longer have cider on tap though, and only bottles.some things are a little overpriced, but the experience makes it worth it.

Sadly a very disappointing brunch with friends.The roof top was busy but that’s no excuse for having to wait over 10mins for drinks. Then to be told by the waitress who thought she was doing us a favour by serving us! That we couldn’t order another drink until EVERYONE on the table had finished their drink. 1 of the party wasn’t drinking a lot as she was going to a party afterwards & felt pressured to drink so we could all get another drink. Is this a new rule? If so it should state on the booking form.We have never had this issue previously or at any other establishment. It was quite confusing as to who were staff & who the customers were. Other than seeing 3/4 people in black standing by the bar chatting there was no other way of knowing. Name badges or a top with the manor logo on it would certainly help differentiate between staff & customers.

Came here for some drinks with a few friends on Saturday and had Caitlin as our server. Her service was excellent and friendly, kept making sure we were okay and if we needed any more drinks. Will definitely come again!

We were given brunch here as a present from our daughter who thought we should give it a try. Wow the roof terrace is lovely especially as it was a sunny day and the retractable roof was open. The staff are all amazing, make you feel like old freinds. Full of smiles.

Roof top was fabulous atmosphere was great and staff lovely x Meal was yummy but would have stayed in rooftop with food had I realised they did food there x Cocktail bar was great ..cocktails lovely and music was right up our street ..sister even commented he was playing her playlist ...will be back and will recommend .

Popped in on the way into town. What an amazing hidden gem! Cocktails were lovely and the live music was fantastic! (I can't remember the duo's name sorry! Two guitar players and one of them was singing) We stayed in the cocktail bar until the band had finished, which we were a bit upset about because we'd only been there for an hour or so and we would have stayed longer. The middle floor bar was stunning, nice and clean and the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended. The rooftop bar is as gorgeous, well covered and heated too. Will there be any live music / DJ up there in the summer? Our only negative would be the huge staircase(s) to get to the middle floor and roof top bar (in tipsy heels!) Is there a lift? We will be back!

We went for Sunday lunch as a group of 8, food was lovely and staff attentive but not ott. Headed to the roof top to meet friends. Waitresses was fab and when it came to paying the bill, Iona was more than accommodating to us all paying separately for our drinks. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

We ate at the rooftop bar. The food was brilliant, and the cocktails were delicious! Everything was very good value. All the staff were really nice and helpful, even when they were very busy. The cocktail lounge is great for a night cap as well!

Fantastic restaurant. We went out for an anniversary meal on the 17th February, we had booked and arrived slightly early - no issue at all and we were seated when we arrived. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. The staff are brilliant, attentive and very polite. After our meal we went for cocktails on the roof top bar, very lovely location, sheltered from the rain and fires/heaters to keep you warm. I'm very much looking forward to returning!

We booked a table for pizza and drinks in the rooftop bar before the theatre. The pizza was fresh and really tasty. The service was good too. Will be coming back in the summer.

Visited for brunch and the staff were amazing very welcoming, service was amazing , outstanding atmosphere. The staff had great personalities.

Worst Mojito we have ever had the displeasure of tasting anywhere in the world. Pathetic, zero idea how to mix one and when told, the response from the cocktail expert barman was a weak “ sorry “- no offer to make new ones or to remove from the bill. Never patronising again. Pity, as we were scoping out as a possible venue for a large company function. No chance after that experience.

My wife cooked a fantastic Sunday roast today and whilst we was eating she mentioned what was the worst ever Sunday roast we’ve had. I wouldn’t even call it slop that the Manor served us. Vegetables where that hard looked like they been cooked weekend before. Cauliflower cheese didn’t even have any cauliflower in it and it looked like something I can’t mention. Assistant came over as we were separated from everyone else and asked if anything ok as seeing me turning my nose up at it but we didn’t complain but should had and left. Even the drinks weren’t even in the correct glasses and I wouldn’t call the server a mixologist. So we went on a previous occasion for some cocktails and were really impressed with the quality of the drinks and service that we received. Our last visit was a while ago and do not live local anymore but with my wife mentioning it just reminded me of our experience.

Today we went for the first time. All the staff very friendly and efficient, the cocktails very good. We were on the roof terrace and it was very pleasant, we will return more times and next week we will go to the restaurant that looked good. A highly recommended site.

Such a great location and ambience for a night out

Party of friends meeting for a leaving party. Pre-ordered pizza's for 7pm. Food finally arrived at 9.30pm and was under-cooked. Had paid deposit but refused to pay balance. Absolutely disgraceful service and food.

Found you via Google as we were in the area for an overnight stay whilst going to the Waterside theatre. Firstly we had a great welcome at the door and enjoyed a fab Sunday Lunch along with Cocktails. Excellent service by all the waiting staff especially Kaitlin. Thank you 🤩

Bad experience! Booked a table for 20 people and had pre order menu a week before. Waited almost 1.5h for dinners to be served! And then another 40 minutes for puddings! After giving a negative review elsewhere, was contacted by the manager who gave me a timeline from cctv camera saying that my review was unfair. HOWEVER- the plates leaving the kitchen at the cctv camera are the “complementary” starters from the chef- that I was charged for and DID not order! Not dinners that were ordered a week before the event! The food was cold and served in parts- some people were finishing while others got it! Awful experience! Finished dining at almost 11o clock instead of 9, which meant that most people went home straight after instead of enjoying a cocktail on the rooftop. Payed a big bill which again, did not match up with my calculations, but didn’t want to make a fuss on the day. To summarise - would have been less stressful and cheaper to eat in the pub elsewhere! The only positive was the staff that we’re trying to make up for the chaos in the kitchen. Will definitely not come back there again.

The rooftop cocktail bar is sheltered enough and heated enough to be enjoyable in winter. Good service & good drinks.

Absolutely awful experience, after deciding to change our booking from. Opuz to The Manor and wholly regret it. Booking was for 7pm From waiting for 10 mins to get seated by the drafty front door (getting blasts of cold air every 5 mins from the door opening), to the 20 min wait to get served a drink, asking 4 times for some water for the table, a further 60 mins for the sub par cooked/burnt starters one which came out separately with the driest bread on earth, the mushrooms arrived with inedible burnt soda bread and replaced with some cheap sliced white bread and not even some butter or olive oil, garlic prawns were mushy and dry at the same time and tasted like left overs from the night before, the calamari tasted like it came out of a frozen packet...and as if to annoy us even more we waited a further 50 mins for the mains (which were to be fair good but partly we were so hungry and thirsty at that point it's hard to actually decide if the food was good). The serving staff were polite and apologetic probably doing the best they could with whatever issues were happening in the kitchen and chaos behind the scenes and although we did get some of the bill refunded, the manor spoiled what should have been a great night. Absolutely baffled, it didn't even look that busy. Would not recommend, and will not be going there again. Would have been had a quicker nipping into the McDonald's and to a pub in another town. To summarize... Awful experience , seemingly precooked/frozen food or just a terrible chef, really don't bother unless you are happy to wait 2 hours for a basic dinner. If it wasn't for the good company of friends I would have walked away after the first 20 mins.

Post matinee dinner with friends. Warm welcome followed by excellent service from the whole team! Little things like being asked if the volume of the music was OK made the difference. That coupled with awesome food resulted in a 5-star rating!!

Really lovely Sunday dinner and good value for money, The real star was the service, special thanks to Caitlin G and Sebastian who were excellent! Very attentive and real assets to the team!

Very nice place and staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. It was also great to see such a friendly and welcoming security man on the door. Just make sure you are dressed smart or they will not let you in... This is the only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 as they can be a bit funny about the way you are dressed. I recommend the roof garden. I will definitely be visiting again.

So disappointed with our experience on Friday night. Booked a table for 7.30pm got there just before greeted at the door by a friendly lady, this was the best part of the experience after that it was nothing but a disaster. No drinks menus so had to ask, ordered drinks then ordered starters, after the first drinks was finished no one asked if we wanted another, we had to ask to order more, the starter came around 8.15 and by 9pm the empty plates were still on the table. We had a show to go to at 9.30pm so I asked how long the mains would be? The girl who I asked said she would check and she did not come back to us, I then asked someone else who went to check, came back and informed us that the roof top bar was extremely busy and there were still 6 checks in front of ours. At the time of booking, I was told you would need the table back by 9.30 so Why we were not told this when we sat down, I do not know, honestly is the best policy in my eyes. We then have to leave the restaurant very hungry to go and see the show. NO manager offered any apology and left the staff to deal with this issue. We were so upset as was very much looking forward to this meal and picked this restaurant out of all the other available.

This is a place that I would highly recommend to anybody!! The food was delicious and the drinks were fab!! The facilities were very clean and tidy, the Manor is a must!

This is a lovely place and probably the most up-market place to go in the area. The drinks are a little more on the pricey side but i like the environment.

We loved the manor! Would 100% recommend it. Me and my friends came for brunch for our friends birthday and it met our expectations. Props to Alejandro, Ed and Sam, they knew how to adapt to our characters and gave us the best customer service. Thank you so much Manor Aylesbury !!

Cant believe we didnt come before. Great food and service. We had beef tacos and chicken quesadillas which were lovely especially tge beef tacos, plus great salad and chips, tomati rice was nice but small portiion. Hubby had generous portion of churros. Chilli mango margherita was deliciious and sweet yet spicy and 2 for 1 before 7pm. Lovely venue and service friendly!

Been here lots of times and always have a great time with such friendly and helpful staff! Love the New Mexican food especially the awesome ribs! The cocktails never disappoint and there is a great choice with the bar tender going of menu if he can! Roof top bar is always a great atmosphere and definitely the nicest spot in Aylesbury to eat and drink!

Very unprofessional and un politely staff, including the owner. Tonight was the worst experience I had so far at the Manor. I used to go to this place very regularly, and tonight Tanya was very rude to us, and I have asked for the manager and they said there is only 2 members of staff , no manager. Then the owner came to see us, Ben, very strange as they just said there is no one apart from them 2 members of staff, I complained about Tanya being rude and he was even worse. He said she was his only team member on Sunday and she didn’t want to serve us so we have to call it a night. This was not a fair decision and he didn’t not even tried to fo anything about this, maybe cause Tanya and the owner are having a relationship, otherwise I cannot explain why the owner took the decision to kick us out, knowing the fact we didn’t do anything wrong, apart from complaining of her lack of customer service skills.

Food is lovely, Customer service is poor. It was my friends birthday and I bought a cake for her and hid it behind the bar. One of the staff had a ditsy moment and came up to the table and asked if she should bring the cake when the rest of my party is back at the table! My friend and I was the only two people at the table and she had a badge on and a headband saying its my birthday!!! And one of our party went to the bar moments earlier and asked for the cake to come in 10 mins. We had to wait for ages to order. We waited so long to pay that at this point it was decided we will not return due to the waiting around the whole visit to order and to pay. But atleast the food was good!!!

A gentleman with beard & waistcoat, didn’t quite catch his name was very pleasant taking our orders upstairs on our fire pit table that we reserved & called up specifically to ask for. We went about 4ish on a Friday afternoon so quiet peoplewise. Music touch loud but I'm old. However, staff friendly and accomodating. Their card machines were acting up but all handled well.

Last weekend My partner and I found a Golden gem of a restaurant in the centre of Aylesbury Town. THE MANOR Hidden just away around the corner from the cinema and just over from the theatre. Wow amazing. Spread over 3 floors. On the lowest...

Nice place, rooftop area is comfy. First Thursday of each month they have blues, it is quite nice. The tapas are great, the sauce with calamari is amazing.

We had a great 3 course meal for Valentine’s Day, along with some delicious cocktails. The food was stunning and the fillet steak was up there with the best I’ve ever had. Staff were lovely and attentive. Would highly recommend 👍

Visit in January, cold evening, roof terrace drinks, open area heated, hate to think about greenhouse gasses...really an area for the brain dead, expensive cocktails and drinks. But at what environmental cost?. Would be nice on a sunny day, let's hope that energy costs shut...

Had lovely meal at the Manor. Very good service and the food was lush.

I understand that bars need to make a profit, but I feel like this particular establishment was taking advantage of its customers by charging significantly more than what I consider to be reasonable. For example, I ordered a simple vodka tonic and was shocked when I saw the price on the bill. It was easily double what I would expect to pay at most other bars, and for a drink that only contained two ingredients (vodka and tonic water), it was completely unjustified. The same was true for all of the other cocktails on the menu – they were all significantly overpriced. The atmosphere of the bar was nice enough, with cozy seating and a friendly staff, but it wasn't anything particularly special. In fact, there were other bars in the area that offered similar ambiance at a much more reasonable price. Overall, I would rate this bar a 3 out of 5. While the atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, the overpriced drinks left a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn't recommend this establishment to others looking for a good value.

Worst Christmas dinner ever.everything had too much salt in it and the service was very slow Won't be returning

This is a great 'after work drinks' venue! Even in the depths of winter, the rooftop is welcoming with heaters and blankets on request. Worth a look.

Visited for drinks on a Friday evening at Christmas time. Second visit after a good first impression a few months ago. The second time impression (and the first time for my wife) was not so good. Staff were not very welcoming - from door to bar. Music in the cocktail bar was way too loud and tinny, meaning it was a struggle to hear yourself talk - not really the vibe you expect when in that sort of environment. Different if there was a dance floor and better sound system! I'm sure many would disagree, but that was my experience, and I hope the managers don't mind some constructive feedback.

If you are looking for 5 star dining just come here.

Had a really lovely Saturday afternoon. The service was very attentive. Some of the food was not piping hot so that could be improved but overall it’s a reasonable price and would do it again.

Probably the best bottomless brunch I've had. Staff were really attentive and friendly, we felt well looked after. Food was really good quality, the chickpea hash in particular was delicious. Service was really quick, cocktails were great, atmosphere was spot on. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon.
