proper local pub, not for those who aren't from around here. was made to feel a stranger even on Christmas Eve. so much for the new neighbourhood. want a recommendation? Go to the woolpack up the road

Brilliant, just brilliant. Lovely staff. Great atmosphere.

Played a few games of darts, drunk some Guinness and ate some crisps. Friendly bar staff.

Atmosphere personified at The Bull, amazing staff, have visited a couple of times great chat with locals and staff they are more then dog friendly I would say if you are stopping off well worth a visit for a drink and a chat

Very quiet on a Monday night, but the welcome and service were fabulous. Ella and Dan were great company and kept me entertained for a couple of hours while I waited for my wife. Very enjoyable.

What can I say, great drinkers pub and very sociable. Lyn the landlady is a good laugh and keeps a good pint. Large beer garden with plenty of room for the kids. Still the same great pub. UPDATE - Not been in for a few months as we have moved house, quite a few alterations have been made and what a great improvement. All beer dispense has been upgraded and the decor has been refreshed. Nice to see a local pub growing for a change and not going to the wall.

We visited this place yesterday with my family and I am very pleased with their service. Vasilis makes the best greek souvlaki we have tried so far in UK. Highly recommended!

A good local pub with some fruit machines and juke box. The best bit is massive back garden with a pond full of fishes to keep the kids entertained. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Absolutely brill. No food, no posers, a true village drinkers pub

This pub does what it says on the tin, it's an actual pub not a gastropub trying to be something that it isnt. You get real people and bar staff over 18 who are pleased to see you, remember your name and remember what you drink. The prices for drinks are the best I have found in the area, a glass of sauvignon is about €3.50 compared to €7 at the gastropub next door ! You'll find a lounge bar and a bar and a huge garden for the children. Complete with dart board and quiz machine and a bar where the locals come and everyone talks to each other ! Excellent

Visit here most Wednesday's after visiting Mum who is in a nearby Nursing Home We habe been made so welcome! We only have 1 drink but after the first time they have been waiting on the bar for us on the bar! Love stopping off here!

On a crisp autumnal day when the sun was glimpsing through the thin layer of clouds and warming the lonely souls below and two newly weds were searching in hope for a quiet spot to have a relaxing drink after days spent on the road going hither and thither, along came The Bull! Not an actual Bull but a public house with fine ales real middle English gentry and a touch of simplicity to allow a short break from the never ending Road before heading off to meet Charlie and Nick! A lovely spot to warm a cockle or two. Pop in for a cheeky lager shandy and you'll be pleasantly surprised, not for the faint heart it should be said a real place for real people!
