Went for a group meal. The service was extremely slow arrived 7.30pm and food only arrived just before 10pm!!

Just had a scrumptious breakfast of Avo on sour dough. Really tasty beetroot salad with it, feeling very healthy!

Great food, great service the coffee was below average however, but otherwise perfect.

Lovely place and very nice food. Staff were so lovely. Only down side was an unbelievably noisy table of 8 on the other side of the room. Clearly had no concept of their surroundings, maybe they thought they were experiencing private dining! Grown women shrieking and talking at well above normal levels! Despite that, would definitely recommend!

Such an underrated gem of buckingham. Have come here twice now. Lunch was absolutely incredible, the chicken was cooked to perfection. So juicy and moist. Came again for breakfast and yet again… perfection. Service is excellent and staff are really friendly. Lovely cocktails as well

Really nice and personable staff which is the cherry on the cake for fantastic food. Definitely a favourite in Buckingham and recommend checking out. Also tasty options for vegetarian and vegans, I recommend the jackfruit starter - the salsa on top is awesome

Came for dinner after visiting family nearby. The staff were very friendly and we found the portion size, taste and cost to be great value - just over £60 for 2 tapas starters, 2 mains, a churros desert and 4 drinks. My husband particularly enjoyed the lamb dish, he likes spicy food! And they do take away too. Would recommend

The food was really good and genuinely good value. Limited but well thought out mix of drinks on the menu. There was only about 6 or so tables in use and because they spread over the 2 floors it lacked atmosphere a little. Staff were attentive but they could have sold more by asking a little more regularly if we wanted more drinks. Overall, well worth a visit and we will go back.

Ate there tonight. Had Jamaican curry, was hot but extremely tasty. Really nice atmosphere, friendly staff, would recommend. Dinner, pudding and a drink for two people for under £50 and tasty and homemade, can't say anything negative.

Lovely little restaurant situated in cornwalls meadow. The service was friendly and food was fresh and delicious. The chicken was so juicy and delicious. Good cocktails as well!

Can't reccomend this place enough. The food was absolutely incredible, myself and my partner visited this evening as we are staying at silverstone. The staff were lovely and welcoming. We arrived just before the kitchen closed and nothing was too much trouble. The burrito was delicious and the mixed tacos were amazing. Never had good like it. If we're in the area again we will re-visit. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the location and decor was lovely.

This is one of our usual places to go to when we feel special about something. This time we tried their burgers: chicken and pulled beef. The service is always great and same with the atmosphere. It’s wasn’t too busy when went around 7 pm on a Friday but could see it was getting busier as we were leaving. Wheelchair access is available. A must try!

Reasonably priced for amazing quality food. Front of house lady is amazing at customer service. shame it is quite here tho for how good it is you would expect more people.

Came here on our monthly food club with work. Lovely food. Good price. Staff were very friendly. We all had a starter and a main plus a couple of drinks for £30 each. Didn’t think that was too bad. Would come here again.

Excellent restaurant, very friendly staff and very delicious food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The restaurant is clean and well decorated, the staff is helpful and friendly. The chef cooks amazing foods, you just want to clean the plate after the last bite. I fell in love with a tiny picture of a bean with a sombrero hat and maracasses. Is there any chance to get that from somewhere? I was too shy to ask.

It is a beautiful place to go and eat out. The atmosphere is always welcoming. Thr service is always very good and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in, till its time to say goodbye. The food is gorgeous, and they cater for vegans! The cocktails are very well made, too. I highly recommend going if you haven't already done so.

I'm giving it a 3 as food took so long to arrive, the restaurant wasn't that busy, and the chef seemed to be cooking one meal at a time. Bit expensive for what you get.

Tried patatas couldn’t even eat threw it in the bin as it doesn’t taste good; also chicken, cherizo and prawn jambalaya better buy from Tesco paella it tastes better than this . Will definitely not buy again

Lovely Latin American with a lil Caribbean style to there food. Services was great , i enjoyed my breakfast. I will be back for dinner and to check out the bar across street

Wednesday evening 5 of us had a great meal, great service, fresh food, great atmosphere and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return.

Food took a little longer than expected but it did all arrive together. Portions aren't massive, but the quality is there so that's actually fine. I'd rather eat 500 delicious calories than 1000 mediocre ones! And the food is good. There are some english dishes available if someone doesn't like Latin American cuisine. Ambience is really chilled latin American vibe. The place is clean and smart with a nice area outside if that's your thing. Inside, some seating is upstairs (stair lift installed) and the restaurant is quite small so you may need to book. It's nice, in short.

So so so so so good. Have been for breakfast and lunch so far, dinner and Sunday lunch still to be tried. The food is just awesome, fresh and comes out timely. I can't recommend this place enough and I don't know why it's not busier than it is (unless I choose the quieter times ). We've had chimichangas, patatas bravas, churros, tacos, full English, huevos rancheros, and I can't remember what else, so awesome. Not huge portions but enough. Go go go.

So tasty & perfectly cooked. I had a chicken dish with rice, the chicken had crispy skin and the meat was really juicy, I had a chilli mango marinade it was really lovely and moreish. Husband's steak was cooked perfectly too he loved it. Both dishes had bags of flavour. Good service with friendly staff. Feel like its a bit of a secret this restaurant outside of buckingham but we've always had a great meal here, the Jamaican curry and the breakfast is great too. For something different give them a try! Ps. Keep the receipt for 50% off at the bar opposite afterwards

I had the huevos ranchers. The fried eggs that came with it were possibly the most nicely fried eggs I've ever had.!

Had a few takeaways from here during lock down but never eaten in. It was a lovely little place, great atmosphere and really good food. I appreciated since looking last they seem to have come up with a more budget friendly menu during this cost of living crisis. My only slight moan would be the desert, for £8.50 the sundea wich had 1 scoop of ice cream was a bit extortionate and certainly didn't match the fair pricing of the rest of the menu.

I have been going to this place for the past two years, the food is great never even once disappointed. Service is outstanding. I wish they served Sunday Roast every day :D

Absolutely faultless. Great place, excellent service, food and wine. We had never been to Buckingham before and stumbled across this place by accident but will certainly return if we are around here again.

Absolutely delicious! The food was so great & the service was brilliant. Only drawback is the lack of atmosphere.... or rather, we were sat at a table next to the bar with three staff who didn't have much to do and effectively just chatted to each other and almost watched us eat. It was a little awkward, but it didn't take away from the food or that the service is so friendly and prompt!

Really great tapas menu of high quality dishes and some nice cocktails to go with them. Small cafe style venue provides great service though not a great deal of atmosphere. Make sure to book a table.

Great place for food and drinks in Buckingham, they also serve caipirinha’s and fried plantain - 2 of mine and the Mrs favourites. Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. Great spot for a meal followed by drinks at the neighbouring cocktail bar if you want to make a night of it. Highly recommended

Sorry Mum but Carnitas’ Sunday Lunch is even better than yours. A fabulous place to eat; Kirsten is a brilliant waiter as fabulous Miguel is - attentive to every detail and the Chef is probably the best in the world. Fine rare beef; extraordinarily carefully prepared green cabbage, courgette and mange touts; the very best red cabbage and purée of swede; gravy to die for and fabulous yorkshire puds. Catering to all appetites, mine pictured here is a perfectly sized small serving. Thank you Carnitas. The best Sunday lunch I have ever had - and I’ve eaten many in my very long life. Fun place for a good Mexican meal. The menu is interesting and varied and they also do some good cocktails. The staff were very friendly. It is quite small and cozy but is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere

Wow, what can I say. Buckinghams very own Latin American restaurant with a fabulous selection of foods from Spain, Mexico, Cuba and even a bit of Jamaican. The service and food was outstanding! Seating on both the ground and first floor. Decor is not to garish, which is a bonus. Price is ££. Our meal, which consisted of two starters, main course and sweet with drinks, came to £70. Worth every penny. Well worth a visit.

Great service and all round a pleasant meal in a pretty small but well presented restaurant. I found the calamari, while well cooked, was a little too oily and the meat had an unpleasant taste of raw chili powder. If the spices were cooked through, I am sure the food would taste even better.

Disappointed. Turned away at the door. After reading some good reviews about this place we made a special trip from Milton Keynes (2 adults and a young child) unfortunately we were told at the door that they were only accepting bookings due to staff shortage, the place didn’t look particularly busy and they had plenty of tables. The staff member wasn’t apologetic either. For a Friday evening they should have had adequate staffing levels or advise customers that booking is essential on their website. We have never been turned away at any restaurant before and with a very hungry child this was very disappointing.

Amazing little cafe in the heart of Buckingham food and staff are amazing

This was our first visit and we weren’t disappointed!We booked an early table 6.30pm as we were going on somewhere else after, we were seated downstairs, which is a very small area, but felt really authentic, more tables upstairs and outside, the place was really buzzing.We opted for 6 tapas dishes between us and they were served very quickly and absolutely delicious, we had the ting tong chicken tostado, patatas bravas, albondigas, halloumi, chicken wings & nachos, all fabulous flavours and very tasty.Service was great, very attentive but not in your face.We will definitely return, a pleasant change from the normal chain style restaurants.

It’s great to finally have an indie Mexican sit down place albeit just a few miles out of MK in Buckingham. Carnitas is a gem of a place and Vibin Venkatesh made sure that we would keep coming back. We had a mix of starters: patatas bravas, sauteed mushrooms on bread, nachos and corn on the cob. For the mains we tried the chicken tinga quesadilla, fajita veg quesadilla and vegetarian soft tacos. The flavours were truly fantastic. Plenty of seating upstairs and outside the restaurant. Zinc cocktail bar is right across and owned by the same establishment as the bill offers 50% off on drinks at Zinc if utilised on the same day. Check their opening times on their website and I would highly recommend booking in advance although I am sure they would accommodate you if you walk in too. Plenty of parking in the Cornwall Meadows car park from where the place is a short walk (just beyond Waitrose) in the shopping centre.

Our visit today was so relaxing thanks to Miguel such a nice guy, the food was lovely, I recommend this restaurant 10/10.

A while ago I went for lunch with my family. And from order to be served it took 59 minutes on the clock. We promised ourselves never to return. But we love the place so today we went back there. And it took 45 minutes to be served. They said there was a big party upstairs. Could be. But we were the only ones having food at ground level. Will never return there and do not recommend it to anyone.

The food was lovely and delicious. Good portion sizes. I had a mixed grill with the Mexican twist and was not disappointed
