Our cycling group of 15 called in for lunch on a Sunday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and arrived swiftly with a smile. They even apologised for a non existent delay in getting the food to us.

Excellent place for walk and breakfast/lunch. Food all freshly made, cakes baked by the owners. Very friendly staff and always a warm welcome. A gem on our doorstep. Lovely garden during good weather

I've visited on a number of occasions and always had great food and welcoming service. On this visit we had good coffee, a deliciously tasty, warm sausage roll, a pot of tea and a slab of very good fruity flapjack. A great place to meet friends / start or finish a walk (dogs are welcome) / get on with some work (wifi is available) or just relax and read the paper!

We have used this cafe many times when out for walks or when in the area. The staff are lovely and welcoming. The food is always fresh and tasty and the setting both inside and out is great. I like their toasted sandwiches and homemade cakes. They have good coffee and a good selection of cold drinks. They have a large covered outside seating area as well as the garden and inside area. Today we sat in the covered area outside and I did notice that the table we sat at had been cleared but not wiped and was a bit grubby. I then noticed that the staff were quick to clear tables but didn’t routinely wipe them down. Otherwise I think it is a great place for lunch or a snack.

Fantastic cafe in a former pub. Lovely garden, plenty of seating. Excellent coffee and the most amazing home made cakes. Very good prices too.

Popped in as we’d been passed by several times but never when we were free for lunch. Great space, indoor and outdoor, very dog friendly and lots of walkers when we were there. Had the soup of the day (pea soup) and a Brie and bacon toasted sarnie, plus a chocolate brownie - all were excellent and very tasty. Prices were really good, staff were friendly and welcoming, would highly recommend if you’re passing through. It had a steady stream of visitors and I suspect will do a roaring trade once it’s warm enough to really use the garden. Some nice walks in the area too to explore.

We visited with our walking group at lunchtime. It is very popular with walking groups as it is on a well-trodden and picturesque walking route. It is also on the main A4130 road between Henley and Wallingford, with ample parking. It is simply furnished inside, very much like a cafeteria, snug but with plenty of seating. The staff are very friendly, and there is a very good choice of hot and cold snacks, all reasonably priced. It's a great pit stop.

Friendly staff, good beer, clean pipes and as someone relatively new to the area I found the locals welcoming and friendly too, a good place for a pint and a chat

Scrambled egg clearly not made to order. Is just heated up and arrived cold. Server offered to put it in the microwave. Very shoddy. Got a refund. Would avoid
