3 friends that like to travel around different areas trying afternoon teas, and we will definitely return to mad hatters, the staff were very pleasant and happy, the afternoon tea Tea was lovely plentiful and nicely presented drinks were hot and served will a smile

Use this place often. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is always good! Definitely recommend the madhatters breakfast 👍

We went for afternoon tea to the Mad Hatter cafe. Fantastic decor, lovely staff and the food was wonderful. My friend is a vegan and she said it was the best choice she has ever had. The staff had obviously really thought about it. The one thing I think they should do is increase the price the value for money is amazing. Will definitely go again.

What a lovely find,staff were wonderful, happy and cheerful, and our visit was very enjoyable. The sandwiches were very tasty and there was no shortage of filling, drinks were good, and the cakes were to enticing to resist. Very nice and we must return soon.

I phoned and ordered two paninis from here, costing £7.20. When I went to pick them up, they were all wrapped and the woman behind the till said they were “well done” and if I wanted new she would make them, as I was in a rush and the food was already wrapped, I said it’s okay, I don’t mind well done food. However, this was not well done… both paninis were visibly burnt. They were hard and had no taste except from burnt. I rang and was offered a refund which I have never received after giving the details needed. I used to like this cafe but I will not be visiting again. Anyone could see the paninis were burnt and should’ve been remade, as serving customers food like this and charging for it is wrong.

This establishment has some very dubious customers, by which I mean Nigel Farage the UKIP/Brexit man of the Paypal

I had the Farage, basically margarine on white bread. Feel weird now. There was a lady sitting outside singing dubious songs.

The owner was taking a selfie with that UKIP bloke so asked me to wait indoors. No one was wearing a mask, not even the servers. I'd already paid but when I saw the interior I wrote the money off and left. I tried to complain to the owner but he said he was busy, having his photo taken by the UKIP blokes assistant.

This is a very clean, welcoming cafe on the High Street. Good food at reasonable prices and good service.

Lovely little place! Popped in for a quick cuppa a couple of days ago and I was really impressed! The staff were all super smiley and friendly and the cafe itself was clean and really beautifully decorated. Tea was presented on a tray with a matching cup, saucer, milk jar and teapot and looked absolutely lovely! Couldn’t resist the cakes as they just looked incredible, can highly recommend the Black Forest gateaux! Huge portion for the price too, fab value for money. Really nice cafe with a fab theme, would definitely recommend and will definitely be back :)

This is the second time I've visited this cafe. On both occasions, we've had good quality hot food and friendly service. Good selection and good prices too. Worth a visit if you want a filling breakfast.

An above average Breakfast and an ideal stop for Coffee and Cake mid morning. Friendly staff and very good value for money

Came here for our breakfast and so glad we did. It’s a little gem of a cafe. The food was amazing. I had my usual bacon and black pudding sandwich and the wife just had toast. Nice and clean inside with really happy and friendly staff. Price was really good and a nice selection of food. Will be coming here again for lunch next time.

Obviously nothing special but for a local fried food cafe (polite way of saying greasy spoon). This was very good. My mother had an egg and bacon sandwich and enjoyed it and I had a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw (being a vegetarian there wasn’t much choice but that’s what you expect in a small greasy spoon). I would usually moan at having to have a jacket potato but it was actually nice, the potato was cooked just right and the cheese actually tasted like cheese, but I was disappointed at the stingy amount of coleslaw (but to be honest it seemed like the kind of place that if I’d asked for some more, they would have obliged). The staff seemed nice, the place seemed clean, so all in all, probably not the best place for vegetarians (I didn’t grill them about their hygiene methods, so don’t know if they cook meat separately but I would hope they wash hands immediately after touching meat/before touching other food). But for meaty fried breakfast lovers I would recommend.

Stopped here on Saturday for a bite to eat on route to Frome. I had a bacon sausage egg and cheese sub with ketchup and a latte, both great, nice friendly staff and very clean.

Had the rocky road today? Best I’ve ever had will definitely be back to have more! The service was great! 😁

Took my parents here because wanted to open their eyes to there being other places to have breakfast besides the golf club! Decor is really fun, including a lampshade which is an upturned table, fully laid with buns and cakes, on the ceiling.The breakfasts took a while but we're outstanding. Mix and match 8 items plus a cup of tea or coffee for £6. The sausages and black pudding in particular were great.Definitely a step up from a greasy spoon and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Enjoy!

I was quite dissatisfied with my last visit here. The portion sizes have nearly halved since last owner. I asked for a small chicken nuggets and chips I had around 10 chips and 3 nuggets. I asked for this but he charged me full price!! And also have my son the same amount which I didn't ask for and again charged me full price. Coat Cost me around £16 for 2 rubbish meals and 2 milkshakes. Disappointed. You normally get around 10 pieces of chicken so to get 3 and be charged the same is daylight robbery.

Bacon, egg sausage and tomato. The BEST. When my wife and I are in Birmingham, which is not often, we make sure to stop here for breakfast. The prices are great, and you will get a filling sandwich at a fair price. Highly recommended.

As my wife was at the hairdressers I popped in to the cafe for a meal and some quiet. The food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced

Popped in for a sausage sandwich the quality of the sausage was fantastic as was the service will defiantly be popping in next time I'm in the area, good parking access too

Ella era muy poco de locos, pero encantadora casa cogimos dos piezas de su legendaria tarta rocoso de la carretera para más tarde. We went for the breakfast ,we each had a 7 items, the bacon and sausage were of a very good quality all made to order so worth the wait, the owner was so welcoming and friendly,my grandson had the milkshake which we all tried and would recommend, as we paid we saw the ROCKY ROAD CAKE,at only 85p a slice we thought it rude not to have some,my daughter thinks that i should not tell you about it keep it just for us,we willing be going here again

We've had breakfast here a couple of times it's small and cosy with a friendly atmosphere the food is reasonably priced

Our nearest cafe, only seats a few people but very nice inside with quirky decorations. Food very good and well priced. Used by local tradesmen regularly, often find burly workmen in there eating or collecting their breakfast takeaways. Recommended.

Waited 20 minutes for a baguette because the oven had been switched off?? In that case maybe inform me and i xould have chosen a sandwich instead??? Quicker making it myself

For anyone who lives in the Bromsgrove area, this place is somewhere you must try. Honestly the place doesn't look like much from the outside and it has a small interior but the value of the food and the quality is outstanding. We've visited 3 times now and between us had an omelette, a fish finger sandwich, 2 breakfasts and a couple of 'mad' shakes. I guessed that the restaurant had an understanding with the butcher's next door and this morning we saw the owner trot over to get some more gorgeous bacon. The food is all cooked fresh which does mean a bit of a wait, particularly if it's busy, but honestly it's worth it. The mad shakes are fantastic; today I had oreo, my wife had malteser last time and they're very tasty. So today we had 17 items of breakfast, a coffee and a shake and the bill was £13.60. Do the maths. Try it!

I visited on a Saturday lunchtime approx 12.45. We had 2 tables as there was 6 of us and placed our orders. The food really is great, generous portions and extremely tasty! I had chilli cheesey chips and it was lovely, but the wait for our drinks was about 25 mins and the wait for food approximately 45. This is just too long, next time I would probably ask the wait time or avoid the lunch rush.

We popped in for lunch having just moved into the area and were pleasantly surprised.Delicious food and wonderful service - will be back. N.B. Food took a while to come but was fresh and tasted lovely so overall not a problem.

The breakfast is delicious, decent ingrediants are used and the meals are well executed, (not swimming in oil like many other cafes). I recommend everyone to try the breakfast here! you will not be dissapointed.

We have been visiting this quirky little cafe every week since opening, my daughters are big fans of the mad shakes, particularly the Oreo & Crunchie flavours. The food is always excellent quality & value for money, we enjoyed the homemade stuffed turkey burgers over Christmas and homemade beef stew with dumpling. April and all her staff are always friendly & welcoming, we love this place and wish them the best of luck and recommend them to everyone.

My wife and I have been at least once a week since it opened. This alone tells you that we must rate the place very highly.It's a very quirky and friendly place and definitely very cosy when the weather is bad. Most importantly of all the food can't be faulted with something different on the "Specials" board every day.This morning for a change we had the smallest of the all day breakfasts. It was quite substantial and cooked to perfection and the tea is very good and served in enormous mugs.We'll continue going and wish April and her staff the very best of luck for the future.
