The atmosphere of the pub was amazing, and we were greeted by great staff, G and Talles. I tried the chicken schnitzel after being given it as a recommendation and it was delicious. It was a really amazing time with my partner and I would definitely recommend.

Bar excellent ! Quelle bonne surprise de tomber sur un bar tenu par une française à Camden. Il y a beaucoup de choix, que ce soit sur les boissons que la nourriture. L'ambiance est super agréable et on peut le voir avec le monde qui y vient tous les soirs. Les serveurs sont accueillants. Le seul petit point négatif que je pourrais notifier est que la musique est légèrement trop forte aux heures de pointe, mais cela vaut quand même 5 ⭐ ! Bon courage à vous.

Had a lovely lunch with friends with 2 for 1 on cocktails. Great atmosphere, service was quick and Max was really friendly.

It's being advertised as a new pub on Facebook. Which it is not. It's been there for years. It's ok. Reasonable selection of beer. Ok Pub but not new.

Great Venue. Came to watch the England Euro Football game. Service was impeccable (especially Nolan) despite the fact that the pub was full to the brim, our orders came quickly, then food was hot. My only gripe would be that the nachos are deep fried, which is not my preference. I lost an earring while there, but Nolan returned it to me when someone handed it it. Phew!

We stopped in a couple of times while in the area visiting from the US. We didn't have food, but the beer and service was excellent! Nick is a great guy, and we enjoyed hanging out with him! Cheers!

Waited 14 minutes at the understaffed bar. Three members of staff made eye contact yet avoided us. After 14 minutes waiting, a woman just walked right up to the bar and was served in 20 seconds. Ridiculous. Went to The Cobden, and got served in 14 seconds.

🚇 Mornington Crescent 🍺 £6.30 Pravha A Refreshed Camden Local. The Lyttelton Arms is located on Camden High Street opposite Koko in Camden Town. The nearest Tube is Mornington Crescent which is just across the road. This pub was established in 1797 as The Southampton Arms. It was renamed The Lyttelton Arms in 2010 in honour of jazz musician and broadcaster Humphrey Lyttelton. I used to frequent this pub in the late 80’s/early 90’s. The pub has recently been refurbished to give it a new lease of life. This is a good size one bar pub that is stylish and modern. The pub is divided into four sections which have their own distinctive identities. The main bar area is spacious and has a sweeping servery with a burnished copper counter. At the back of the main bar is a raised area with a leather banquette and matching booths. The adjoining area feels more traditional with a tiled floor and exposed brickwork. The section at the back is low lit and feels like a swanky cocktail bar complete with a Joanna. The beer line up is a good mix of mainstream favourites plus a decent choice of craft beers from London breweries. I decided on a Pravha, my pint was excellent, price point is a smidge above average. The food menu is American inspired comfort food, there is a range of burgers, bites and subs, Fish & Chips is available at £16.00. I was kindly invited along to the relaunch night to check out the refurb and see what’s new. The pub was packed by 6pm with a buzzing upbeat atmosphere. The DJ was superb, he played soulful funky jazzy tunes which set a nice tone. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and seemed to be proud to be part of this revamped boozer. I had a good catch up with pub aficionados @booze_house_tales and @thelostpintproject who are always great company. The @lytteltonarms refresh is well thought out and hit with me. The new decor is stylish and appealing and felt like a nice environment to spend time in. The beer selection covers all the bases and the food menu is on trend. We booked a room for a group meetup. Only after reading the menu and choosing, we’ve been informed only two of all the types of sandwiches were available. Rushed by the waitresses. On top of that, they made us pay despite we left a deposit that was meant to be spent at the table as they specified!! They kept it!! I reminded to send it back over bank transfer (as we don’t live in the UK) and received no answers after a short exchange of emails. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Stay away

Bank holiday Monday. We were a group of 20 people. As soon as we arrived we were told they wanted to close earlier, nice start. We started to have drinks and, at around 19:00, some of us started to order food. 3 of us placed an order at 19:55. The waiter came to the table to tell us that the kitchen was closed, that we couldn’t have the ordered food and that we had to go to the till to get the refund. I just would like to specify that nobody came to the table to let us know that the kitchen was closing, the last order was not done, no time was given when we arrived with regards to the kitchen closing time. Even if you wanted to close one hour earlier, the kitchen closing time should have been 20:00 not a random time before 20:00. I have worked in hospitality for many years and I know what it means to work during bank holiday, nobody likes it, we didn’t mind to make you close the kitchen earlier and give you the chance to go home earlier but at least ensure a table is fine with everything, do the last drink and food orders. You served drinks and did not give some of us the chance to have food. I definitely will not return and it is the same for the other 19 people, you just lost 20 customers.

One of the worst pubs i have ever been to. The sound doesn't work on the big screens for the sports, so there is no atmosphere. The bar staff are glacially slow and the mens toilets are disgusting. Never again!

We watched the football there and they have plenty of screens. Apart from that, coffee machine was broken and many things on the menu not available.

Well located pub in Camden. Only had keg ales such as Camden Hells and Pale. Plenty of seating and is large and spacious.

I had a really nice meal for mother’s day, i was served by eve, she was amazing. Food was delivered by warren and kelsey both were lovely, food made by lauren and drinks by marie. Everything was amazing, thank you so much!

Immensely popular Camden pub, at least on Friday nights. Excellent beer selection, didn't attempt to order food, but it looked encouraging. Young crowd, busy bustling. Perfect start to a big night. 4*only because it was a scrum at the bar, though probably wrong to castigate a place for being successful. Cheers.

Visited for a family occasion this weekend. Roasts were amazing, and our server Flo was so helpful. Had a lovely blood orange Collins from leo at the bar. Would definitely recommend!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience, I thought I’d make the effort this time. I came in today for a late lunch… I had a delicious steak sandwich, chips, and a pint of Aspalls, all for a very affordable price with their weekday meal deal. We also met the new pub manager who’s just taken the pub over. She’s French, friendly, and full of life. I can’t wait to see what she does with the pub, how exciting!

Burgers were cold. Like out of the fridge cold, and not properly warmed through. Booked table for 6 and given table for 4. Tables and chairs piled up next to us as we ate, due to band setting up. £18 burger £7.50 pint. Should do better.

Came to collect a good to go bag. Problem with the app which has happened at other stores so couldn't snag my bargain (it happens). Customer service very apologetic. Pub clean and spacious and had the women's super league playing. Stopped for half a pint and picked up two roasts to take home. Lovely place and the drink prices decent as well. Food was perfect.

Lovely big pub super central, directly opposite the stunning Mornington Crescent underground station. Only had some beers, but had a great choice of standard and craft, I smashed a lovely Pale ale from Gipsy Hill brewing. Pub was quite dark, but I was sat near the back 😉

That female dj worked hard on Sat 14th Oct, she was battling with a dead crowd. Well done girl 💯

The Rockoke night was excellent, a really fun evening with a great atmosphere.

I ordered a chicken burger. My chicken wasn't cooked properly, it was pink inside and it was cold.

One to avoid like the plague. Actively hostile to crowds going into Koko across the road (just read the incredibly snidey replies to bad reviews from 'the owner'), which is pretty foolish considering its one of the best venues in the country with a thirsty crowd. Top tip is to wander a few streets behind it to Sheephaven Bay, a proper boozer which is far more welcoming, and much cheaper.

We went here twice and were really happy each time. We tried their burgers one day, which was delicious, and their fish and chips the other, which was just perfect! Both meals were big and filling and so so delicious. On Thursdays they have comedy night which was really fun and completely free. They also have a nice collection of different beers and ciders.

Terrible service. Staff would rather have a red bull than acknowledge you're at the bar (even though it was not busy). Gave up and went elsewhere.

It was 35C outside and the guy behind the bar had no problem refilling my water bottle up, I was under no obligation to buy anything. During hot days this sort of service is invaluable.

Sadly this pub refuses to accept cash as form of payment. Having recently visited for drinks and dinner with a friend, it was a surprise, and disappointment to discover that the company refuses to accept cash (legal tender) as payment for items sold in the pub. As cash is legal tender, retailers should still have provisions in place for customers. The UK government recently debated the matter of protecting cash in Parliament on 20th March 2023, due to increasing pressure from the public needing and wanting to use cash. This matter falls within the Financial Services and Markets Bill 2022-23, (in case you were not aware,) and is currently in the committee stage in the House of Lords, which includes provisions to *protect access to cash. Given times are increasingly harder than ever before, and particularly for hospitality businesses and pubs particularly, one would have thought pubs would be actively trying to ensure ALL people are catered for, and encourage the continued running of their venue, rather than adding barriers and obstacles to business. Covid was partly used as an excuse by many because people wrongly believed it could be transmitted on cash. This has long been proven incorrect and an unsubstantiated fear. Covid was also used as a catalyst for bringing upon a digitalised system to an unaware public, however many businesses, particularly independents (which we would prefer to support) reverted to accepting cash again now that the pandemic is over. Refusing to accept cash is especially frustrating when you are on a budget, and perhaps are at the limit on cards so literally cannot afford to go into overdraft. It is extremely shortsighted to rely wholly on internet/ digital services which can and do often fail, leaving you without service and losing money. It's also pretty ridiculous especially when your team are unable or unwilling to explain exactly why the venue won't accept cash. Removing cash as a form of payment is discriminatory and embarrassing, especially for more vulnerable members of society, not to mention tourists who flock to Camden - who rely on its use. I respectfully ask that you consider introducing accepting cash payments within your pub. You have so many great policies like your commitment to net zero, supporting the hungry with your food waste project etc. The hospitality industry was hardly supported at all, in fact it was heavily discriminated AGAINST by the UK government during 2020-2022, and I cannot understand why they are effectively doing the same to a public wishing to support them.

I think for a pub that is opposite a busy venue like koko is very poorly managed and isn't doing itself any favours with the lack of service and searching customers that infact koko don't even intimidate their customers the way this place has done.was a huge meeting point for my group but we will be taking our business elsewhere for up and coming events.shane on you especially when we are mature adults .
