Big Spoons fan, and always try to tick one off if passing. Done this one 3 times and disappointment on each occasion. Staff great, food not so. Place is run down and in need of a refresh. Could be great, nice location.

Short staffed place was a mess with glasses and plates

It could be a fantastic place to visit, eat and drink, but the lack of staff and their training spoils it. Tables full of used plates and glasses which patrons have to move in order to sit at. Needs strong management to run this place.

Not the best. Desperately slow service when you order on the app.

Table service with the app very poor today. Took 15 minutes to bring a glass of wine and loads of tables free. Are you short of staffing here..Not up to usual Wetherspoons standards.

Refuse to serve at the bar. 1 star because that's the least I can give.

I'm shocked that Wetherspoons can deliver such cheap normal prices when others pubs are taking the piss. 2 pints, 1 orange juice and a coke £8 You can take the family out, stop off for a pint and a dinner and not feel robbed. I marked down service only and purely because you have to wait in a queue for what feels like an eternity, but once served it's perfect! We always stop off here when shopping tables outside make it the perfect stop for lunch 👌

The most disgusting food I ever put in my mouth taste vile and the presentation was a joke aswell only decent thing about our meal was our drink to get rid of our foul taste from the food 😔

Saturday afternoon and quite busy but the whole place has a run down atmosphere. Disabled toilet open for anyone to use and very poorly maintained. Support rail beside the toilet very wobbly. Potentially quite dangerous. You can get one of about half a dozen meals at a special price under £7 including a beer, which is amazing really. Unfortunately both the food and the beer were poor. If you're really skint then by all means try it, but I will avoid in future.

29/3/2025 Only one person serving behind the bar and there's a large queue forming today. Need at least 2 people taking food and drink orders. Food was good and turned up quite quickly, shame about the staffing behind the bar.

A very small, old Wetherspoon, in need of a refurb. Odd atmosphere too. Service seemed slow (understaffed possibly) My salad came out warm as it had spent ages under heat lamps waiting for service. Guest ale was kept nicely though and of course it goes without saying, good prices. You get what you pay for but as for as Wetherspoon pubs go, this still is below average unfortunately.

Food average but nice selection of beers at honest prices. Been impressed how a waitress named Alicia managed to kept clean all tables and with always a smile on her face. Really impressed and well done.

We popped into this Spoons as the one in Crawley is shut for a few months for refurbishment. I found the staff very friendly and polite. Service was quick and the food was also good. I like the outside seating area and the location of this pub. Inside area was also good for watchingthe world go by. The real ale was fantastic condition and cheap as chips.

Food was ok but the drinks I ordered were never delivered to our table. I actually finished my food and then went to the bar to enquire about our drinks. They had been on the bar for some time but no member of staff could be bothered to bring them to our table.

The Bar staff were rude and unhelpful the lady bring the food looks like she doesn’t want to be there The atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable. Tables were dirty knives and folks filthy absolutely disgusting. The food was very obviously microwave and gross.

Great cheap place in the centre of town. Ideal to start a night

Very disappointing. We generally love Wetherspoons pubs, but this one really let the chain down. Service wasnt great. The coffee machine wasn't working properly and the waitress I spoke to said nobody knew how to fill it up! The toilets were not in a clean state either.

Always lovely atmosphere in this pub. Was packed but managed to get table no problem. Well done !

Appalling! 1 poor lad behind the bar working his bits off! It's not his fault but he served me a pint with a chipped rim. The edge was like a razor. Queues endless! No glasses cleared from tables. Come on Tlm. Your pubs are better than this. P.S. I am a S'poons man🍻.

After a long wait food arrived cold, ordered beefburger and chips I got 2 cold black patties with half a slice of a slice tomato slither of cheese and a tiny bit of lettuce. I wanted to take it back but it was getting late my wife said I would be embarrassed. If there was a nil star I would be giving that. Won't be going back next time we are in Horsham

We went in on a friday lunchtime ordered a bbq chicken and bacon, cheese panini, I had no cheese and literally 2 tiny bits of chicken it was okay just a bit dissapointed with the filling

Food was okay for the price. But the staff and atmosphere was terrible. They didn’t bring our drinks and when I asked they just clicked their fingers and pointed where they was left on the bar when they said they would take to my table as I had children with me. Table and floor was dirty and not very kid/family friendly at all. Single people taking us the booths.

Food really good and service really good and fast.

I just want to say that Esther works really hard here I always see her running around and dealing with customers efficiently and in a friendly manner she makes customers feel welcome and want to come back what a credit to the company she Is

Nice place for breakfast, low price, tasty food, I've been there after 9am and was busy, just ordered food and glass of juice. Paid less than 15£ for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks

This is bbq chicken pizza..How could you call this a pizza.. it’s just bbq sauce, tomato puree and onion

Service not good and badly needs a revamp

I have eaten here a few times, it can get extremely busy particularly on weekends. The food is good for the price. The staff clearly try their best to serve customers and clean tables, but it can be hard to find a table when busy and queuing can be an issue. Save yourself the hassle and find a table and use the app to order.

Men's loos not working. Had to use disable toilet. Which had a broken handle staff opened it with a knife.

Very dirty and in need of deep clean. Smells of cigarettes.

I rush in here occasionally for a drink and dinner if Ive been shopping and am late. The food is really good. Very good quality. Nicely cooked and presented well. Gammon is brilliant! As is ham, egg and chips and pizza. There is a very varied choice on the menu! Prices are very reasonable.

Service is friendly and the drinks are cheap. I can’t judge the food as I didn’t have any. Inside is outdated and feels like an old school pub.

Worst food and service in my life I have ever had. The staff was very harsh and we were not at all happy. 😐

Don’t bother eating here. Ordered food for 3 of us, possibly the worst pathetic excuse of a fish and chips I have seen and it didn’t taste better than it looked. Advice to management - get a new chef who knows what they are doing, I wouldn’t serve this muck!!

Excellent place for breakfast, cooked to order and a reasonable price. The coffee is very good and free refills.

Typical Spoons. Not a sticky carpet one but also not an amazing one (regular Spoons fans will know what I mean). Easier to order via their app; just sit at a table, browse the menu and then order. Good service. Sadly don't know the significance of the name or carpet here since the app has been updated and no longer gives us this information: sad times! If you don't like Spoons then instead of coming here amd and then moaning about it just go somewhere else - simples, no?

Food decent for the price, fair cut off time. An individual serving behind the bar for most of the night was extremely nice and helpful. Even when dealing with a potentially difficult / intoxicated customer who may have had a little too much to drink, stood their ground and de-escalated any potential problem, is obviously exceptional and valued member of the team, who I would hire for any company I work at today. Emphasis on the above member of ‘staff’ however the whole team were extremely friendly and made the visit a good one.

Same as every wetherspoons food is great value for money, tasty, but lacks on quantity just not super filling. Other than that absolutely fantastic decor and atmosphere, baring in mind it's a Witherspoon's.

We love it here. We always meet new people and enjoy the great drinks and food at awesome prices. Thoroughly worth every penny, it's how all pubs should be.

i came here with low expectations and not even those were met. the first complication we were met with was an entire lack of ketchup to the point we had to go to the tesco around the corner as they were completely out of stock (a common reoccurrence for this evening). after half on hour when our drinks arrived there wasn’t a straw in sight. If i hadn’t had already paid i would’ve got up and left. it seems trap you here by making you pay first. Once our food had arrived i had to try 3 mayonnaise bottles to get a measly teaspoon of sauce on my plate furious we had not bought another bottle of sauce at tesco. i cannot put to words the state these eggs were in. it looks as if they were punched and then kicked across the kitchen. No ketchup, No straws, No salt. salt. With the lack of basic necessities you might as well stay at home at make your own food. whoever runs this substandard establishment is clearly incompetent and if i had it my way they would be fired on the spot after a severe berating.

It's Weatherspoons! Cheap food and beer, but a decent pub and facilities. Sat outside as a sunny day. Served quickly by friendly member of staff. As local to the area, its a frequent haunt. Spoons is Spoons wherever you are.

1hour and 10 minutes wait for a breakfast. Dirty, sticky table, and surly staff. I'll be giving it a miss in the future.

Food and drink at right price. Only letdown was the champagne glasses all had lipstick on them and the barman gave me the least marked one, after wiping it.

Order the whole family food at 1.05pm and then got told its wos 1hur and 20 mins waint and we got are food around 2.45pm and 3 itmes wos missing and then tock anouther 20 mins to get the outher 3 missing items and the food wos not the hot just warm and wos not offer free drinks or sume money off the foods.

The worse spoons I’ve ever been to . Cold food , chips instead of mash and 2 x chips short on our order . The table next to us also had the same problems . Definitely a spoons I won’t be returning too . Usually you know what you’re getting with spoons …. Not the case here

Popped in for lunch and have to say food was good and hot I have also noticed that’s there is a lot more better availability for food I loved the wings.

Bought food to table with no cutlery. Table was extreme or sticky where we were and I touched a few others and they were sticky too. Ordered “Loaded” fries and they look like a mess too me I don’t see much “loading” going on there

A typical pub restaurant. Food is ok at competitive prices. Plenty of seats, service can be long. Conveniently located

The place was quite nice the food came out within 5 minutes and was exceptional nothing to complain about I was very happy with my visit

Standard stuff, friendly staff and good selection, very short staffed which resulted in a fair wait to get a drink.

Nice place but food was a bit pricy service took 1hr + and when it got here it wasn’t worth the wait I took my kids here and it wasn’t very child friendly when we got in there were old men drunk people and a huge bar if u want a restaurant for kids not here not child friendly

Great Wetherspoons value and reliably good grub, but the pub itself is tired and in need of a freshen up.

Ate here a few times now and frankly they really need a new chef, couldn’t even finish this mornings breakfast given the eggs were blood red opposed to amber yolks they were also blotchy as hell, I’m pretty sure they were past their best! Frankly disgusted, to top it all off the breakfast comes with butter fresh from the freezer! How spaz can you get? It’s not just the eggs either had fish n chips in here a couple of days ago and the chips are f horrible, and the choice of batter for the fish that came out broken into a number of pieces is clearly the cheapest they could find, usually a big fan of Wetherspoons the quality is never really great but the value is for the most part really good, this spoons however is on the low end of the spectrum for food quality, all the ingredients look like they’ve been overlooked on the quality side so the management can sponge every last penny of profit out of the whole thing like they’re a ruthless apprentice candidate!

On Friday. Not the most scenic setting but with the prices elsewhere it has affordable drink prices especially if consuming a few drinks as it really adds up when paying more than double the price, and also good food prices, we had the special mixed grill plus drink (which includes drinks like leffe lager 6.6) where there was a good amount of meat. Security also looked to be running a tight ship (keeping patrons/staff safe).

We ate here on the evening we arrived in Horsham, food was good and the security on the door were extremely friendly and helpful as 2 of the group are disabled. We returned in the morning for breakfast and honestly that was the only reason it lost a star as despite lovely service from the man who was taking orders, serving and clearing the breakfasts were a bit cold and looked like they had been thrown on the plate from across the room. Nice place other than that.

This is the most disgusting pub with dirty floors and tables, flat beer, miserable staff and a really bad vibe. Food left on tables and not clearest away. Hate to think what the kitchen is like. Will never go there again.

Took my son for some lunch into weatherspoons horsham, not inpressed at all. To start they did not have anything we originally wanted, then when we did finally order and the food arrived my son ordered the all day brunch there was no bacon on the plate which is what it comes with also my son is allergic to egg so specially asked for no egg, the food came with an egg on it and no extra sausage what we asked for. The service was below par with no apology for it being wrong. I ended up giving my bbq chicken (if it had any in there) bacon cheese panini to my son as he was not able to eat his. Lets just say i wont be visiting again anytime soon. This was also on a tuesday so not even a busy day.

Great value, could do with a referb

I went there for food today and the quality if you can call it that was totally awful. When I received what I ordered it wasn't what I ordered at all and when I went back to the bar to Advise the staff of this they weren't interested, I guess because they have already taken my money. I also had to ask for a knife and fork, Not sure if it's the new tend to eat with your fingers now or not, and not impressed with the thought of trying to pick up baked beans. Overalls this place was VERY POOR and wouldn't advise anyone on eating there.

Like all of this company's establishments, many and varied beers, a spacious and very quiet place with reasonable prices.

Comfortable environment, friendly locals and reasonably priced beer. What more can you ask.

Ordered gourmet steak. Tiniest mushroom, half tomato and 12 grey peas. Tough steak, gristle. Not too gourmet. Asked for serviette, told I had one. But we'd used it to clean filthy table. Carpet thick with trodden in food and worn out.

Probably the worst weatherspoons we've be in , staff are not well trained and no management presence promotes this ! The beer is awful despite the cheaper prices . We would rather pay full price for a better atmosphere, quality of drinks, and professional management and staff.
