The Lunchbox in Newcastle-under-Lyme

No eggs in salad boxes has they are too expensive and they need to save money. This is not stated on the price board. Saladbox price from 3.65but it not stated that meats are extra. The assistant complained about the cost of everything and they weren't making much money so need to cut back on items and charge more money. I felt as if they were doing me the favour to supple the food and moan about it at the same time It's a shame it used to be a good shop !!!

Nice and clean. Friendly, welcoming and a good menu for breakfast. But the food itself is average and the prices are expensive compared to everywhere else 😒

Had sausage bacon egg and mushroom butty. Pretty disappointing, reheated food on a butty that was made with a crust, who even uses crusts these days. No spread on the bread and the microwaved tinned mushrooms were only just edible. The egg was fresh cooked i think but microwaved not fried i think? To top it all off its not even that good value at 4 quid for a butty. Thought I'd try here for a change but very much doubt I'll be back.

Can't fault this place. Food is always freshly made.

Great range of hot and cold food. Had a lovely couple of sandwiches. Will use more regularly from now on.

Brought 2 LARGE breakfast boxes. Waited for 45 mins for collection, when I got home there was missing items l, no egg, no mushrooms, 1 bacon. in there and the box was swimming in beans and tomatoes! Even paid extra for hash browns that where mush due to them swimming in beans and tomatoes! I’m not happy I paid £10 for beans and tomatoes. Normally this shop is fantastic. Very disappointed.

We had a works buffet today from here excellent service beautiful food for 30 people.Not a scrap was left,I would highly recommend to anybody.
