Everything was brilliant there was nothing for me that you need to improve on

Awful! Missing items, food cold, items requested to be removed werent. What a waste of £50.00. I could cook and aldi steak woth more taste. No seasoning on the steak. If i was in the reataurant i would have sent it back.

We went for the fixed price 3 coarse meal which was great value for money and great quality carnt wait to dine again

Lovely selection of meats and great quality! nice wine selection too, and excellent service. Very satisfied. When asked to be moved tables, the staff was prompt to act just as a good place should do, really attentive to service.

The service was excellent, the food was good and cooked as we liked our steak. The desert was lovely. Carry on as you are. No complaints here.

My partner and I went to the Talke branch. First off, I must say that the food was amongst some of the best food we've eaten. I had Chipotle chicken starter Signature steak sandwich for main Salted caramel profiteroles for dessert All were excellent. We will return again.

I here so much about miller and Carter and decided to try it for a birthday meal with family, and unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype the venue was lovely and the atmosphere was great and cant complain on the food was ok, bar the portions, the fillet steak was perfectly cooked but the lack of chips and the dribble of sauce that you get was very poor. If you're having steak you want a plate full of chips not a small pot and if you upgrade to chunky you don't get many. The service unfortunately was very poor, had to get up and ask for another drink, then asked for a vodka and coke that didn't come for 20mins and then when mentioned to the waitress her response was thats the bars fault. The place was busy but when the bill is £200+ for 4 people service should be perfect. Unfortunately I don't think id return as for me your paying for the name of the restaurant.

Never had a bad steak here. My go-to for a reasonably priced steak. Highly recommend the fillet with beef dripping!

The fillet steaks were superbly cooked, probably the best we have had at M&C. The service was friendly and helpful. A great birthday meal.

Place very busy which says something. Nice interior lots of different areas to eat . Our waitress Autumn was very informative giving advice and pleasant too. Our starters were good can recommend the scallops. The mains were just as good well presented and last but not least very tasty. Steaks cooked to perfection . A superb night out celebrating. the food is very bad and oily considering the prices, my steak was chewie and burnt and my wife's burger was very oily and greasy

Managed to squeeze us in despite us booking for the wrong date (so sorry !!) and accomodated us very well since we were their last table of the night. Starters and mains were both gorgeous, beautifully presented and worth the money. Our waitress Amanda was very sweet, super helpful, and very attentive. We had a really nice time at the Miller and Carter, Talke. We were served by Ella, really friendly and gave some good advice about my steak. I had ribeye cooked medium well. It was perfect. I had also asked for a vodka and soda, and asked for it not to be " drowned"!! The ratio of soda to vodka was just right. Also, something very important to me, I cannot cope with too much noise as I suffer with migraines, so the back ground music was " in the background". All in all very pleasant, I think we have found our new " go to" for a nice meal. Thanks Ella

Food was as lovely as you could possibly expect, but the real star of the evening was our server Beth who was incredibly attentive, taking the time to make sure everybody got what they wanted and even took the time out to take photos of our group. A special happy birthday message was left for the birthday boy of the party, which was a lovely extra treat that hadn't been expected. Overall fantastic service, food and experience. Hubby booked for our 21st wedding anniversary so was looking forward to it. I ordered a the black angus sirloin steak but it was very grisely which was not expected. I love children but having a toddler screaming for the duration of our meal was off putting and very disappointing.

I have had the best experience at this establishment.with the best server Ellie who gave us nothing but the most amazing time and sharing her steak knowledge with us and giving us great recommendations. The food was impeccable and will definitely be coming back again.

Beth was an excellent server going out of her way to make our experience for my brothers 30th birthday go fantastically. She offered to take photos, brought out a little pudding for my brother and made everything lovely 😊

Great food and service by Amanda. We share the Chateaubriand Med Rare and have some to bring home. I can remember 10 or more years ago, asking for a to-go box and they kindly provided a clean ice cream box for our leftovers. Now there's proper take away containers. 😋 Too good to waste!!!

We came here for graduation celebration. Ellie was amazing a party of 9 was served promptly, drinks food was all hot and had amazing taste. It was busy but there was no issues. Ellie is a total credit to the brand and site. From the moment we walked in we was greeted by Rachel and shown to our table.

Our first visit to MC. Atmosphere and staff (Autumn & Silvestru) were very helpful and welcoming. Steak was magnificent and cooked perfect. Lobster tail was nice but overcooked and we didnt like the iceberg lettuce wedge thing or the gloopy creamed spinach. Overall very happy and will be back soon 👍

When we arrived we were seated straight away, Service was fast and efficient with drinks and food, our server was name Millie, she was a very polite and pleasent young lady, nothing was to much trouble, even when I asked for the left over food to be wrapped to take home for animals she just instantly said yes of course thats not a problem, really lovely young lady, can not complain about any part of the service we had or the food we were served so compliments to the chef, both Millie and the chef are a credit to your company, all 3 of us went home full and happy so thank you :).

Autumn was lovely and very attentive, bad the butchers block and steak was perfect.

I ordered fish, thick cut chips, pea puree and tartare sauce. Everything except the chips were freezing cold. For dessert I had apple pie and ice cream. The apple pie had obviously been microwaved the pastry was soggy and apple too hot to eat. Will not be visiting again.

My steak had to be recooked as it was medium rare (still bleeding on the plate). The prices are far from cheap and we were offered nothing as I waited again- not even a complimentary drink, something I think is poor customer service. With this and the expensive prices I cannot see us returning anytime soon.

Oliver was a lovely and attentive server and made sure we were looked after throughout our whole meal.

Very disappointed with the quality of an expensive steak. 50% of the steak was impossible to chew. My concern now is that steak quality is on the decline when prices are on the way up. The restaurant was less than 50% occupied. Does this suggest that others have experienced the same poor quality of their speciality = steaks?

Booked in here for an early lunch taking advantage of the lunch time menu. Even though it was quite busy we didn’t have to wait that long for food. The food was nice and we both enjoyed it. The service was also good. Would visit again.

Went to Miller and Carter for our son's birthday. Lovely greeting when we arrived. Excellent staff throughout particularly our main server. Nothing too much trouble. Food good value. We had the steak and cocktail deal. Nine of us dined and I believe we were all satisfied with our meal. The restaurant was very busy which I believe speaks for itself

Me and my partner came back to M&C today as a treat, and after the last time we visited it was very very good. But...... Today was a little bit more of a let down, my partner enjoyed her Squash salad with added Halloumi, but was very dry without any dressing, though we asked for some, it made it alot better. I myself had chosen the 12oz Ribeye steak, served with Pepper sauce, bacon and honey dressing salad wedge, buttery New pots, and a side of greens. I had to send my steak back as I asked for Medium Rare, and got Well done. Now for a steakhouse who specialises in steaks, it surprises me that this steak was very over cooked, it also did NOT look like a Ribeye steak. After receiving my replacement, I was abit happier, the waitress was very helpful and kind and gave me replacement new pots and greens with my new steak (which I didn't ask for but enjoyed very much) as for the replacement steak, it was More Rare than the first but I'd still say it was more medium/medium well than Rare. As a chef myself, I still couldn't understand how a steakhouse couldn't get a Medium Rare steak correct. But who knows what's going on in the kitchen. Everything was seasoned very well, and had a good taste to it. The service was very good, and the waitress today was very helpful, and very nice.

I booked for my son’s 13th birthday. I dropped off balloons and banners and on arrival, our table had been set up with these and a booth provided as requested. My son was very happy with the surprise. The food was delicious and very well cooked to our requirements. Service also very good . I have visited the talke restaurant for many years and has always been a favourite of mine , and it never disappoints. The prices are also very reasonable. Lovely ambiance in the restaurant and we are always greeted with a smile on arrival Keep up the good work and thanks for making my sons day a special one

Best place around if you’re looking for a perfectly cooked sensationally tasting steak! I cannot fault Miller and Carter Talke, our visit was exceptional from start to finish! Overall a great night with great food, the disaronno blush cocktail, fries and red wine gravy were all phenomenal. Just a couple of chewy/gristly bits on the steak but overall a lovely meal. Great service from Oliver too, who was very knowledgeable on the menu with lots of recommendations to offer!

Went there and firstly the building is gorgeous inside and out. The food was the best, I had the 8oz fillet steak let me tell you... I have never had such flavour, it was so juicy and exactly cooked to how I asked! Service was spectacular, staff were very welcoming and very helpful (give em a raise!) My partner had the surf n turf fillet mignon, I'd never tried lobster before but my god... very succulent honestly outstanding. My partner hasn't stopped talking about it. Drinks were very nice as well, we had the cocktails, flavour burst!! Thank you for a lovely service, will be recommending to others!
