New customer, we had a loaded waffle, cookie dough and a brownie, all arrived hot and the correct way up, all were spot on yummy. Delivered quickly. Recommended.

ordered several items that arrived on time but one item was mouldy, I called for a refund on the whole order as I had no confidence the rest of the delivery wouldn’t make us ill but was told a manager would call back. Food hygiene is obviously a low priority as my call was not returned. I will be contacting the local environmental health as this is not acceptable. UPDATE ***To be fair to the restaurant they did call back and apologise. They gave a full refund and offered a free meal as compensation (not taken up).***

Lad LaneStunning old pub in the centre of Newcastle-under-Lyme. It had a decent atmosphere, even at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon, with friendly staff and a coal and wood fire at opposite ends in huge, traditional fireplaces. It's a Joules brewery pub, with Pale, Blonde, Slumbering Monk, and their lager - all of which are well priced and pleasant. Bear in mind it is cash only, though Lloyds Bank has cash points 30 second down the ginnel opposite.
