The Louth in East Lindsey

Had a meal here on a Saturday afternoon and so good, came back for a Sunday carvery. Great place, dog friendly. Welcoming. Great food with good sized portions and reasonable prices.

Nice friendly dog friendly pub. Nice atmosphere. Drinks very reasonable. We didn't eat anything but the food looked nice.

The Louth hotel as got to be the best Sunday lunch in the area. We have followed Graham from the Fairway to the Dunns and now to the Louth each time things get better and better. It might not be the cheapest dinner €7 99 but I think its the best with 5 meats 14 vegetables nice helpful staff and most of all I can take my little friend with me . To find a place like this that is dog friendly is great and I don't mind the 40 mile round trip. Me and the Boss say thanks to everyone at the Louth.

For where it is the beer is too expensive and it's got a veggie warmer smell in the day.

i’ve eaten twice in this pub the first time I ate the steak baguette it was absolutely beautiful. Steak was cooked perfection but I did notice a horrible horrible smell coming from the carvery unit. It smelt like rotting food. It was very offputting. I decided to come back again and try the food they were quite busy so we decided to have a carvery. The service was okay we got our ticket and made our way to the carvery. There was two meats and huge amount of vegetables and probably the worst gravy I’ve ever had in my whole life, it was like water taste vegetables were obviously all frozen apart from the carrots and there was a terrible smell. We were absolutely starving so we took our meals back to our table and started to eat our food. I’m very sorry to say and I hate complaining but this was the worst carvery I’ve possibly had in a very long time, there was no taste at all like I said the vegetables were all frozen ones apart from the carrots gravy was terrible. The Yorkshire puddings were frozen Yorkshire puddings it was quite an expensive carvery It wasn’t one of the cheapest….. I got home that night and for the last five days I’ve been suffering with what I can only think is food poisoning, I have been on holiday for the whole week. I’ve been very sick in bed. I’m hoping that they can read this comment because I feel that their carvery needs a complete revamp and by the smell of it the carvery unit needs chucking away if you’re going to do that many vegetables, you need to make sure that everything is very clean and probed. The food was not hot. I’m hoping this feedback can improve the situation in case other people have got food poisoning from this as well. l

Cheap ingredients, Branded sauce bottles washed and refilled with Cheap no-name sauce, Dirty chef whites.

Had two Chip Butties and wished we hadn't. At almost £4 each they were terrible. The buns were not fresh and had some cheap spread on them. The chips were of varying temptress and some too hard to bite. We left a bun and quite a few chips. Lesson learned.

Poor , would walk past if possible and go to a chippy , poor poor poor

Sunday carvery is very good. We took our dog inside with us and staff were very accommodating. Will definitely use again. Thank you

We went yesterday for the first time. Dog friendly which was nice. The ham was absolutely beautiful. The staff were lovely . And food arrived promptly. Will be back again. Value for money

Been shivering food all day come in around 15.30 tuck the menu away said to me the cook as gone home poorly down to heath and safety

Stinks like wet dog decor is ancient and outdated staff look as if they want to die food is absolutely horrid and takes decades to arrive to you even the beverages.

Went here for lunch had Hunters Chicken. Chicken and bacon was absolutely drowned in Bbq sauce and cheese. Unable to eat. Definitely not worth the price you pay for the meal. Unfortunately won't be back for food. Bar staff and serving staff pleasant.

Had our burger and chips and pudding burger you could have got better from burger Van custard on pudding was like water £50 wasted never will eat there again save ya money better off at chippy

I was on the search for cheesy chips and finally stumbled upon the louth. After ordering from such a lovely, beautiful man at the bar I was astonished when the chips came out. Absolutely covered in cheese from top to bottom and a delightfully warm plate. The young boy who served us was so polite. The best chips and cheese I've ever had and such a lovely atmosphere and the friendliest pub staff ever. Will definitely be returning here.

First time here with my mum we both ordered the chicken wrap they told us a hour wait we agreed to wait wish we hadn't bothered ended up waiting a hour and half asked twice where are food was eventually came and the chicken was cold the chef asked me if our food was OK I told him the chicken was cold he said u should have sent it back I told him we had eaten it has we had waited long enough will not go back there again for food

Took over an hour to come out, unreasonable when you have a 7 year old waiting for her food at 7pm at night. Also, I’m diabetic and was starting to feel very light headed! The food was okay, nothing to write home about. Lasagne was good, until I found out the whole thing was burnt on the bottom! The music was decent but the room was so hot we couldn’t enjoy ourselves! We wanted to talk to someone before we left but couldn’t find a single soul in the loss! Won’t go again….

Friendly pub, reasonably priced drinks, small area in back yard with astro turf for smaller children to play, dog friendly, friendly bar staff

I Ordered ham egg and chips it was cooked hot , and tasted good. Fast service too. And the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was also good.

Needs a make over. Furniture is old and dirty.staff are great.

Called in here and wished I hadn't. Food was dire. I ordered a hot roast beef baguette. What I got was a dry piece of beef, curling up and stone cold. I didn't eat any of it and walked out. My advice, go in, sit down, and watch the food come out, and then decide if you want anything!

Called in with my partner and kids as the carvery appealed to us . Big mistake Beef 2 great slices of fat no meat Mash been stood since Wednesday Yorkshires like play dough Roast potatoes like charcoal 70 pound down the drain Absolutely shocking

First time in here and most definitely will be visiting again!!! Unfortunately a few choices we wanted weren’t available as run out but what we had was superb, my partner and dad had burgers and I had steak baguette with chips and salad!! Absolutely delicious food, all cooked perfectly! Would recommend definitely and looking forward to going back next time we’re visiting Mablethorpe

Generic pub selling generic food, which I thought was expensive. All the usual suspects on graught & in bottles. Decor & tables looking a bit jaded.

Good, a little dated, could do with a lick of paint, refurb maybe, but good prices, decent food, drinks etc. Had karaoke on when we went, but wasn't all that busy. An ok place for a few pints.

Food rubbish instant potatoes so don't order mash. Ham tastless and chips wasted. Not recommend for food. Ok for a drink.

All in all poor paid £13 for a carvery which is massively overpriced and overrated only to see there was no meat left why are they still selling it's a scruffy place that's just trying to snatch holiday makers money but you live and learn definitely won't be back

Only went for a couple of drinks but enjoyed it with friendly staff.

We popped in here because we thought it looked quite upmarket and a nice place to eat. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place is dog friendly too. The toilets are clean and spacious. We ordered two meals, cottage pie with chips and spaghetti bolognese. It took about half an hour for the food to arrive. Sadly we had to return the spaghetti bolognese because the mince wasn't cooked properly and still raw in the middle. The female member of staff offered to ask the chef to cook another portion but we didn't want to wait for this and got a refund for it instead and we shared the cottage pie which was good. We also got two complimentary mugs of tea. We are pleased we got a refund but were most concerned that the chef is allowing food that hasn't been properly cooked to be served to customers. On this basis we wouldn't go back or recommend it to our friends.

29 April 5pm,been in ther 15mins, sitting in garden sum 2 guys said im barred I need to leave ????I ask why??he sayd I cause trouble last year??I have no idea what he talking about, I say he has mistake me for someone else, ive never been barred from anywher, I sayd its mistake check your cctv, he sayd dont need to,he knows its me????I've never seen the guy before 20years ive been going in ther!I only drink shandys, I dont get drunk!I have health problems I need to take is easy no stress, im autism and anxiety I was having a good calm day until then! I was told not to come back by some ape with a green top on that sayd,,army on it,I never seen him before???he was trying to make me leave by the back door, ive never been that way before ,im on the waiting list for surgery for my ears, have been for 2yrs, I aways sit in the garden, I keep myself, I DO NOT CAUSE TROUBLE! THAT GUY HAS MISTAKE ME FOR SOMEONE ELSE! I called to speak to the manager, but was not ther,I tryd to tell what happened, but this guy sayd he cant help me and hung up on me!I first went in this place 2004,never had any problems at all until that ape on Monday 29 April 5pm 2024 ,,since been going in ther, whats going on???that guy has made a very bad mistake,he should not be working ther!im talking to the mablethope leader paper on Monday about this out rage,im not a tourist, I use to live seacroft road how can after 20years get this???that guy should not be working ther!his mistake me for someone else!one of the chef tell me im barred I need to leave as I came out of the toilet,???then other guy turned up in seconds and say the same???I only spoke to the bar lady who made my shady ,went straight out to garden, what is going on?????will talk to paper about this Monday

Food is cooked to order and I ordered Lasagna and it took a long time to come. Because of this service seemed slow. Staff were ok but not overly friendly and we're not smiling either. They sent garden peas instead of mushy but I did not complain.

We had a wake here for 25 people. It was well organised and ran smoothly. The staff were very helpful and friendly

We had a booking at the Louth last week for a group of 26 of us whilst staying in Mablethorpe on holiday. Generally as we are a big group alot of restaurants struggle to deal with our food orders but the Louth hit the nail on the head 1st time. Great service with a smile and really nice freshly cooked food at a great price. What else could you ask for 100% recommend we will definitely book again when we stay in Mablethorpe again.

You can get a full English breakfast, including tea or coffee, for just over £6 staff very friendly and welcoming the owner graham always happy to see us

Lovely food and really great staff - will definitely be back!

Food was great here good choice of steaks and a mixed grill plus salmon fillet. Service was excellent and we were a falily of 10 and they created a space for us to sit in the conservatory and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome.

Visited this place on many occasions and always had a good meal. The last couple of times not enjoyed it all! Had t put up with people vaping in the pub whilst having a meal bar staff knew his but did nothing. We knew the owner wasn’t on duty as I think this wouldn’t have happened!! We visited the pub again and I fancied something simple I had sausage, mush, peas, and gravy. Gravy and mash was okay sausage was disgusting cheap and tasteless.. I was really disappointed with my meal on this occasion.

Brilliant breakfast, service really good, very nice and polite staff. Going again tomorrow. Every time we are in Mablethorpe, this is our breakfast destination. Back again after 5 months, breakfast still great and Graham still a lovely man.

- Came in on the 2/03/24 and had a breakfast with my partner. Food was absolutely amazing and freshly cooked - Alongside that, the women who served us our food who’s name I didn’t catch was brilliant. Well done to her for actually caring.

Popped into The Louth for breakfast. Husband had the Full English, which is exceptional value and comes with either a tea or coffee at £6, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had my usual Eggs Benedict with salmon with perfectly poached eggs. The best in Mablethorpe by far. The food is excellent, the portions generous and Graham and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. Next time you are in Mablethorpe pop in, you won't be disappointed. Great value and great food.

Had never been here before but saw sign for breakfast and went in.3 adults 3 children

Really lovely place. We and our dog were made to feel extremely welcome. The owner is a star and made up a large bowl of meat from the carvery for our dog. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we went there 3 times during our stay. Highly recommend this place.

The second time visiting The Louth and was not disappointed, the food was as delicious as the last time we came here, very friendly service and reasonable pricing. Definitely great for the family, we'll definitely come back when we next visit Mablethorpe

Great pub, great staff. Graham the manager, is so funny and so is his husband. Food is excellent, great carvery on a sunday. Can't wait to go back next year when we will be away in our caravan.

Two of us had chicken tikka.. it seemed they must have been short on this meal and to make it stretch added a tin of tomatoes. We wasn't impressed. I used to really enjoy eating here. But over the last 12 months I'd say the food isn't half as nice as it was. The staff were friendly though. Dog friendly too which is nice. Kiddies play area arcade is a nice addition.

Ive been four times, staff amazingly friendly especially Grahame. I adore the louth i cant fault them in any way. Its a good place for families, older adults, and lovely people and there dogs all served with love and friendship. I live 300 miles away but everytime im in area i visit for a meal or snack with my dogs, family and friends. Grahame and staff could show the whole uk how to run a brilliant watering hole and restaurant.
