Chapel Garden Centre in East Lindsey

I have been visiting this restaurant for a while now and we always make a special trip for the breakfast as when we first came it stood out and tasted amazing however todays visit we was very disappointed. The food and drinks didnt live upto the standards we are use to here The food just wasnt the same, beans seemed like they had been sat awhile, bacon was very fatty, we asked for this to be well cooked but it wasnt, toast cold and unable to spread the butter. To pay £25 for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks was unacceptable. We wont be visiting in the future nor recommending it going forward.

This place has changed so much over the years!!! - For the better...not that it was ever a bad place. We've visited the place many times and always had an enjoyable time. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are always done to a very good standard. It's always a pleasure to visit and see what's changed.

This garden centre just outside of Skegness also just down the road from fantasy island is a big place massive choice of all your gardening needs at reasonable prices, also has a cafe with a friendly dog sitting area. Too all of you wanna be Alan titchmarsh's out this place is a most go too. Have fun and enjoy

I do wish you would explain and train your staff on how to make a flat white coffee correctly. It should be served with a double espresso coffee and NOT a single shot. I always have to explain this and some even want to charge me extra for the extra shot.

Loverly place, bit of work going on at the moment, but resteraunt still has a dog friendly area and food good, toilets spotless too. Work now completed the dog freindly area has been expanded with loverly comfortable seating - even nicer now!

Love coming here for Sunday Carvery and a nice walk around the garden centre after. Food is always good and we love that we can take the dogs in with us. The only issue we've had here is the decline in the amount of meat we get on the carvery and the wait times. There was barely one slice of each of the 2 meats I chose, just little bits this Sunday. We've had good portions in the past but every year they seem to reduce the meat and increase the price. Compared to other places I've been the meat amount is really pitiful, it's tastes great but there just isn't enough. We also had to wait for over 30 minutes in the queue for the carvery itself which is the longest we've ever had to and we've been coming here for years now. Staff can be hit and miss, some are nice and welcoming, others rush you through and barely say 2 words. The service this sunday was a bit of a mess to be honest.

Rock hard burger and nin, changed bun which was awful. Loaded omelette was a scrambled egg with ham on top. Sadly will not be returning

Lovely carvery, one of the best in the area.

Whenever we are in the area, we always call for the "renowned" Sunday carvery. (Available on Sundays/Wednesdays) 3 meats Available (gammon, chicken and beef) all perfectly cooked and a very good choice of cooked vegetables. There are 3 sizes of carvery available. Under 7's Standard Large. I can eat well, but a standard size is plenty enough for me. You can also buy extra Pigs in Blankets (2 off). I highly recommend the carvery here but I would also recommend that you arrive in plenty of time, as you can't prebook tables. People will usually be queuing for the carvery from around 11•30am and people drive from miles away, for the carvery.

So much to see and prices were good. The restuarant food is lovely. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed the most delicious Christmas dinner here, booked it for myself and my two daughters as a pre Christmas treat and was not disappointed, the table was set beautifully the staff was very friendly and helpful, will definitely recommend and will be booking again The log burner and Christmas trees added to the ambience 🎄

Chapel garden centre is a lovely smaller version of woodthorpe they sell quality items at good prices we have done most of our Christmas shopping there & during the summer months we spend lots of time there buying plants the restaurant is always clean & friendly a lovely place to go 10/10

Stopped by for Sunday Dinner, one of the places that serve dinners on hot plates, so your meal stays hot till the end, choice of different meats, roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire, the most smoothest gorgeous mashed potato, cauliflower cheese, carrots, Brussels, red cabbage, and lovely dark tasty gravy, and all the condiments and sauces, then there's lots and lots of puddings to choose from, and then you have the shop to walk round and the garden centre, but don't forget the farm shop where you can get all your veg and bits and bobs, the staff may I add in all of the areas are friendly and greet you with smiles and chit chat.

Nice carvery and well stocked garden centre. Worth a visit.

Not very busy when we went .Only looked at sale items ,got a few bargains .First time there and was surprised how big it was .Good variety of plants and gifts .

Me and my wife had Christmas Dinner there on the 30th October, what a lovely meal everything cooked perfect, staff excellent too thanks.

Came here to look at pond stuff but was told that they stopped selling pond stuff so left without looking round used to be a good garden centre with loads to look at now it like all the rest of them

Visited today for Sunday lunch. The place was packed,and after eating lunch I can see why. Great food, friendly staff I can see why it is so popular.

We met some friends for lunch as they were able to take their dogs into the Restaurant. The lunch was excellent, and the staff were, as always, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Ate in the cafe, rather expensive for the dishes on offer. Around the cafe parts of the garden centre were under refurbishment with a blaring radio thumping out inappropriate music, spoilt the experience.

Let down by part closed for roof repairs

Garden centre is fairly good, restaurant has gone down hill drastically recently .

We always call here for a Sunday carvery when we are in the area. The food is always cooked fresh and is always cooked to our liking (veg is not Al Dante). Always a choice of 3 different meats, along with a good selection of fresh vegetables. Diced swede, sliced carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, garden peas, boiled onions, mashed/roast potatoes. Yorkshire pudding, stuffing balls, and (optional extra) pigs in blankets. You need to be there early, as the queue for food soon gets long. Testament to its popularity and quality. There is also a great selection of desserts/cakes (gluten-free options, too), which can be taken away. The staff will gladly box cakes for you to takeaway. Situated within the Chapel Garden Centre, the restaurant is a popular location for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea.

Popped into try their Sunday roast partly self service (cavery)have to say the meat was very good as the veg but the roast patatoes could have been better not nice and fluffy bit chewy and hard but all in all was OK situated in a garden centre which also sells clothes gifts and ornaments also cake biscuits etc and pickles and jams it looked like there was a sale on very good free parking

Dogs welcome in this lovely restaurant that serves home made roasts/quiche/salads/pies and beautiful desserts. Cannot fault the food, all at reasonable prices and welcoming staff too. Lovely giftware, clothing and homeware also to buy as well as your gardening equipment and plants. A lovely place to visit and very clean

Disappointing . Had mid week carvery, some items were cold stuffing not good roast potatoes were really bad took a bit and got a mouth full of beef flavoured grease. As a cook I would not have let that meal leave the kitchen . Wouldn't recommend the mid week carvery

Popped in early and enjoyed a really breakfast. There is a good menu so not just eggs and bacon and the staff where really friendly. Large area if you want to take your dog to join you for breakfast.. Nice centre all round with good selection of gardening essentials.

After shopping for pots and plants we decided to visit the restaurant for a cup of tea and a toasted teacake. After 40 minutes the teacake still hadn't arrived and customers who had been served after us all had their meaks. When we asked if it was going to be much longer we were told it was coming out now. It didn't and we eventually asked if we could take it away. We still had to wsit for it to be toasted!!! Never again!

The restaurant is very clean and cosy with plenty of seating. The food arrived piping hot and good quality. Abit pricey for the area and the carvery can be busy. Love the garden centre.

I have visited my dad twice in the last month and we have come here on a Sunday for a carvery. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is very good. Would definitely recommend it. Food served from 11.30 to 3pm on a Sunday.... Better to get there earlier to avoid a queue at the carvery. Lots of tables including dog friendly tables.

It was mine and my partners day off, we wanted to spend some quality time together so thought we’d start the day off by having breakfast at the garden centre. As we walked in we instantly felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable due to being stared at and being looked up and down by an older male waiter. Now ok, we were both in ‘comfy’s’ - hoodie and jogging bottoms which ok fair enough we wasn’t dressed up but it made us feel unwanted and that we was making the place look untidy.. We (stupidly) still sit down. After we decided what we wanted food and drink wise I went up to the counter to order. Again, I was stared at by the older male waiter who positioned himself right next to me at the end of the counter.. I kept my eyes on the lovely lady that served me, continued to order and paid only then did he stop staring and walked away? Now again, I repeat we were in our comfy’s, but we wasn’t ‘scruffy’ nor untidy looking to make this man think we wouldn’t pay? Or whatever he was thinking. Anyway, I sat back down with my partner and within literally 3 minutes the plates of food were thrown down on the table for us by this delightful old male waiter.. Might not even of been 3 minutes.. The food looked like how we felt at this point. The bacon on my plate was cremated and my partner’s sandwich looked like it had been thrown against a wall.. We ate what we could while having an audience (AGAIN) but we tried to make light of a, if I am totally honest crap, expensive and uncomfortable experience.. After we’d finished me and my partner sat there for a while talking. The old male waiter come to collect our plates, we thanked him but got absolutely no response from him. We finally gave in and left.. A very disappointing experience which I will not put me or my partner through again, we will not be returning ever!! There was absolutely no need nor excuse for how he was towards us. I hope the wind never changes for the sake of his face.. Date - 16/10/22

Popped here today for breakfast ( veggie) And a flat white . Breakfast was very nice , hot & served on a hot plate. Coffee was also nice, Tables clean & tidy , Breakfast was served very fast. Definitely will be going back . Cakes looked very nice too.

Have a caravan in the area, so eat here quite often. We have only had breakfast, and it is one of the only two places in the area we would eat breakfast. As, the quality is hard to find for breakfast in the area. Would recommend for breakfast to anyone.

I must come for cavery at least twice a month and it's our favourite place to go! Beef is always lovely a soft and vegetables are always nice and soft! Gluten free options for me is brilliant! I tried a lemon muffin yesterday and it was beautiful! Thanks to all the staff.

Nice garden centre and lovely restaurant with nice staff. However, poor gluten free vegetarian options - in fact no GF veggie options on the menu and they aren't able to offer a GF veggie afternoon tea. It would be great if this could be rectified as otherwise I really love the place.

Very well-known business always good choice of products. Restaurant is extremely good Sunday lunch is well worth a visit.

Great place for all your garden needs plus much more, and the cafe is great quality food and excellent service. Not tried the cakes yet but look yummy.

I shop there regularly for plants and they're always the best quality. The restaurant is excellent and the toilets are very clean. Also, the staff are always friendly and helpful. If I'm feeling down, I go there to walk around the plants and my spirits are soon lifted! ( I usually end up buying something as well)🙂🙂

Just been and had afternoon tea was beautiful well worth it’s money. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Disappointed today . First with quality of food in restaurant where burger could not be cut with a knife. Staff were very accomodating and refunded. By that time a replacement could not be offered as food set down at 4pm. Cash only at till!! Garden Centre. We spent a total of £ 55. 99. Once again staff apologised as it was CASH only once again at their till. Sorry but will not be returning.

As a local I will always be a little biased to this garden cente, how ever I'm not when I say food is spot on and prices are fare any time of the year....

Nice walk around it's a nice place to visit and got a plant we wanted.

Good selection of all types of flowers shrubs trees.plenty of parking everything you could want for garden plus pet store and gifts and so much more.

Best carvery in town highly recommended and the staff are brilliant couldn't ask for better service 👏 especially Tracy, kirby and Sharon amazing nothing is too much trouble for them x

Went in today with the wife to get a hot meal ordered gammon chips peas and black tea for us both and the gammon came stone cold mid winter and cold meat not what we expected It's winter it's not summer and salad time yet Spoiled our dinner and day

Friendly and plenty of choice fresh veg and fruit superb cakes just spent too much will be a regular haunt.

Been back again this year and still the same absolutely shockingly overpriced Christmas stock, total rip-off as can get the same things elsewhere and a lot cheaper. Apart from that it's still a nice place to walk and look round.

Just had a delivery from garden centre over 400 pounds 2 delivery man arrived but refused to put in garden has would have to go through conservatory no furniture in the way so to 75yrs olds did their selfs 10 mins job

Thought there would be more Christmas stuff and festive displays....but got a couple of bargain primroses.

Not the largest garden centre but it had everything we were looking for and more. Christmas decorations and a very popular restaurant serving Sunday roast. Your pooch is also made welcome with your own separate seating area. We purchased seasonal bedding plants and rose stones for the patio. I can recommend this company to provide a memorable visit.

Lovely garden center plenty to look at Christmas decorations & gifts good value. Decided to have lunch was not disappointed had the meat pie , I've never had so much meat in one so would recommend. . Staff helpful & pleasant. Thank you to the staff member who took a picture for us. Will be back soon.
