Great staff, great food. Proper old fashioned attitude to customers. Food always well presented and cooked. The milkshakes are the best!

A lovely, family run coffee shop with warm, friendly staff and a great selection of food and drinks. The Lounge is like the heart of the Werrington Centre and makes a really positive impact on the local community.

My daughter & myself go nearly every Monday for breakfast & it's always very friendly & for a family run business it's services is better than any top restaurant. Food is always excellent & service is always woth a smile

Went here for lunch as looked on my dine card. Got there and ordered breakfast to be told can’t use the dine card on it. I still decide to eat as not that tight over getting 25% off however did say it should say breakfasts not included as it doesn’t say that on the app for dine. Breakfast is average. I asked for bacon to be crispy and had to send it back as wasn’t cooked enough. Was average but won’t be rushing back. It is clean inside

Friendly staff, great service very clean and tidy , order taken quickly, big pot of tea almost instantly, small wait for food to be freshly cooked, breakfast arrived piping hot good quality ingredients overall great experience well worth popping in if in Werrington centre

They have so much on offer at this place... they also do veggie and GF bread and cakes and Vegan sausage rolls which are fantastic...and soya milk etc.... . the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them.....

Popped in with a friend after playing some sports. The menu is simple and easy there is plenty of choice of drinks. Toasted sandwich was lovely as was the purple smoothy. The smoothy was so nice. Seriously, if you're reading this then try the Purple smoothy. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the place is clean. You have a repeat customer with me.

Decided to try this place for breakfast, never been in before. Didn't know what to expect and went in and it looked really nice inside and thought "this is going to be good". Looked at the menu, that was good and the best thing about the breakfast menu you can choose what you want. Set prices for 5 items or 9 or 13 and a list of what they do, check the photo, and you can have what you like. Tea came that was nice, breakfast came that was a let down. Sausages tasted like cheap supermarket ones, didn't have tomatoes they are tinned, the mushrooms are sliced so thinly you have to get loads of bits on your folk to taste them. Hash brown was overcooked. They did a large selection of milk shakes, don't know what they are like but they might be worth a try one day, but won't be going back for food. Girls in there serving seemed nice. It was just a shame about the breakfast. Tip, if you are going to have the 5 item breakfast you might as well have the 9 one its only 1 pound dearer.

Went for a lunch out with Nan and aunt , nice and warm , the service was really slow , staff wasn't bothered to serve us probably didn't really seem like they wanted to serve us lunch at all even though it was 2 o'clock and we took our money somewhere else and had a lot better experience

I have had an amazing experience visiting the coffee shop. I came with a very large group of friends on Saturday and was extremely impressed so came the next day. All staff were friendly and inviting and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will go to this cafe again.

I visited here with my friend for lunch and I have to say that the service was just as slow as the last time we were there! There were 3 people working and nobody behind us in the queue so I'm at a loss as to what they were all doing! I ordered a panini and after somewhat of a wait it turned up-slightly crispy and on the verge of burnt. It looked like someone had left it and remembered about it at the last minute. There was a small salad accompaniment which wasn't worth being there and most of the salad was starting to go brown! The cappuccino was ok but I had to prolong drinking it so that I'd have some with my food which meant that it quickly cooled down and it wasn't that hot to start with! This place really does need to improve as I'm not the only one to complain about service. When is it going to listen?!!

The service was lacklustre. Got the impression staff not very enthusiastic to be there. Ordered Latte and a toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich. Latte tasty, sandwich very average, served without waitress leaving cutlery and a napkin. I had to get up and ask for it. No apology offered.

Fresh bread rolls? Not a chance in here. All part baked frozen and taste nasty. Furniture dirty or broken. Feels like everything in this place.had the same brief, save costs, go cheap. My advice would be to revamp, go trendy, 're launch with an uber health channelled target, lots of avocado, eggs, and coconut water.

This cafe is the perfect place to have a relaxed cuppa. The staff are warm and friendly and the choice of food and snacks is varied and good quality.

Use this coffee shop on a regular basis... in between my calls as a carer I sometimes need a caffeine fix!!! All staff are very welcoming and attend to my caffeine fix very promptly... on the occasions I am able to eat it is always a delight to know everything is cooked or prepared whilst I'm waiting... would recommend this coffee shop to anyone and everyone...

We came as a family group of five. On arrival there were a number of free tables, so we were able to sit quickly. But it was clear that the two members of staff were very busy. It took some time to take our order. A number of other people followed closely behind us, filling all remaining tables. We had a considerable wait for our brunch x 3 + two bacon and eggs sandwiches. On arrival the food was fresh, hot and tasted great. I ordered a coffee top up, but again had to wait about 20 mins for it to arrive. PLUS - Food cooked freshly and well.MINUS - On the day we visited it was busy and short staffed. However the staff were friendly and clearly doing their best, just not enough of them!

The all day brunch is a 10 item breakfast including tea and toast,very good value at £5.95 all fresh cooked and served hot,they have a small lunch menu and nice cakes and snacks.the Sunday staff are efficient and polite but do not interact or have any social skills.a more friendly approach would make us feel more comfortable.

Me & a few of my mum friends all like to come here but have started to avoid it purely because there is no baby changing table. The only toilet is a disabled one which is perfectly acceptable & there is plenty odeon in there for a drop down changed off the wall, there would even be ample room for a changing table unit. I have asked the lady a couple of times & I was told they have one but are waiting for it to be fitted... This was around January (2016) time! I appreciate things don't just happen over night but I think this may not be happening at all. It's a shame because if it wasn't for that we'd defiantly be back. I mean even a cheap one from I've would be great!!

I've had their 5 item breakfast twice now, and each time its been hot, well cooked and very tasty. Coffee is excellent as you would expect it be. Staff very dood to. Well done to you all.

Came here again for breakfast this morning. Yes there is wait for both hot drinks and breakfast to be served but it is worth the wait. Breakfast is hot and cooked fresh and the coffee is delish. I have come in for lunch before and a panini and that was lovely too. Looking forward to trying more lunch options.

Pop in quite a lot for a coffee when shopping at centre and have always found service good. Today I ordered two coffees and waited up to 20 minutes. Tables were not being cleared. The staff seemed more interested in talking to each other to customers and clear tables. We complained and left!! Another customer( who came in just after us) left at same time.

Wonderful staff, great coffee and good basic food at excellent prices. The breakfasts are cooked extremely well with generous portions and the lunches are equally good value. Customer service is at the heart of this little 'gem'. Highly recommended.

This is situated in the Werrington Centre which has improved over the years.Nice ,spacious cafe with wide range of barista style coffee and fresh food available including all day breakfast and sandwiches/jacket potatoes.The staff are very friendly and obviously have a good rapport with their customers.This is a great place for the community.

I regularly come here for a coffee and cake at a weekend and occasionally come for lunch. The staff are lovely, coffee is great and the food is delicious. Totally a must go to if in the area.

Friendly welcoming staff, I was served a delicious fresh, hot breakfast, was fantastic, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience am now a regular and look forward to my visits

Fantastic place to chill and relax after a busy day with the kids, staff are chatty, friendly and very helpful .I had an all day brunch which was great and served hot, the coffee is the best I've had . The kids loved the milkshakes so many different flavors to have that they wanted them all. The Victoria sponge is to die for. Will definitely be going back and would also recommend you go and see for yourself ,I had a great experience there .

Not sure about the previous reviewe, must have been a off day , I have been coming here for a while and find the staff really friendly and the food very good value, the business is under a new manager now and some staff changes have taken place by the looks of it, I like the breakfast and the hot chocolate especially on these cold days.

Came in for coffee with the girlfriend and the staff were great and had a good atmosphere. Better than Costa

A visit to this coffee shop was quite delightful, the breakfast here was served hot and fresh, the staff were extremely friendly and they offer a wide range of both hot and cold beverages, this coffee shop has a lovely atmosphere to it to show everyone is welcome! Must come again.

i took my family in here recently for breakfast which was great value for money and i found the staff to be extremely welcoming and helpful, the coffee was great and the food quality was brilliant especially for the price, i would and have highly recommended to my friends and family to visit you definetly get more atmosphere and conversation than any costas or starbucks

Went here after trying to walk off a hangover with the other half and saw Breakfast in what looked like a trendy Coffee Shop.On the menu the food looked promising, but unfortunately I was served frozen Mushrooms, half a tin of plum tomatoes, processed scrambled eggs and cold toast.If you want coffee, this is your place, but certainly not for breakfast!

My kids love the Nutella milkshake and the meal deal with the coffee, filled roll and a tray bake is delicious and good value.

Visited this coffee shop on numerous occasions and not got a bad word to say about it. Great location, nice and spacious with plenty of seating. Great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and always very helpful!! Good selection of foods available as well as hot and cold drinks too! The hot chocolate is amazing! If you are in the area it's definitely worth a visit! Must try their cakes!!

Went here for lunch with friends ordered food got the change. Waited sometime for the food to come my friends got their food I was still waiting 30 mins, They said everything was in order and my sandwich would come but a little while later the manager came along and said I haven't actually paid for my sandwich. We worked it out that I had actually paid but they manager said that I haven't. So I paid again for my sandwich at £2.65, But I then worked out that I had actually paid and went to the counter. Twiddling with me the manager made me feel as if I was in the wrong and kept saying that I hadn't paid but then went through the till roll. I felt as if I was the one in the wrong but still do my ground. I was eventually given my change back and was told that as they couldn't be sure I had paid or not on this occasion they would be gracious and give me my change back. Everybody had ended up finishing there dinner and I ended up taking my sandwich out as a takeout. Not good first time in there possibly or definitely the last time avoid if you don't need the hassle.

Took a chance instead of grabbing a sandwich for lunch from Tesco next door... Ordering a large flat white, a tuna roll (buttered) and slice of cake (I earned it....). The result was pretty dire. I waited 25 minutes for the roll to be made, there was no butter or margarine, the coffee was small sized ("sorry about that..." was the response) the cake was binned as it was so stale. What a shame! Werrington Centre needs something new - but not at the expense of quality. The roll was grim, the salad looked like leftover kebab trimmings and the bread was like powder. A job worth doing is worth doing well. I won't be back.

Came across the lounge on a Sunday morning stroll and decided to pop in for a snackEnded up having a breakfast!!Food is cooked freshly so had a slight wait but rather that than have semi reheated food. All food was cooked well and not at all greasy. £4.95 for a 5 item breakfast I thought was reasonable. Staff polite and friendly,Well worth a visit

This is a very nice to place to have a sit down after shopping in the centre you can have food and a drink.
