A real buzzy environment. Staff friendly and helpful, really keen to please. Full of young people, goodness knows what they thought about us! Lots of cocktails being drunk! A menu that has something for everyone, but after ordering it was delivered very quickly!

Eggs benedict but eggs could have done with being poached a little long when l cut into mine all see through egg white ran out would not go again

A very good place for breakfast in the centre of Peterborough. Wide menu, they always ask about allergies. Service is invariably very friendly and professional. Most recently had the shakshuka which was lovely with 2 perfectly poached runny eggs. My partner really enjoyed the smashed avocado brunch with additional streaky bacon. Good quality cappuccinos. Have also previously enjoyed the lounge eggs with spinach and mushrooms and the lounge eggs with smoked salmon. The Argo Lounge is our favourite place for breakfast in Peterborough in terms of both choice and quality.

Beef chilli excellent paired with Pinot Grigio fabulous meal with friend from London myself from York. Worth the visit will meet again here. PS service from all good.

Alex, Vytee and Flynn all provided excellent 5 star customer service today at Argo Lounge! I had come in with an old friend and they made us feel right at home. They gave us a lovely selection of mocktails, from coconut to pineapple! we both went with the coco pineapple punch and they were the best mocktails we’ve ever had! Absolutely would return here and the trio were the best bartenders i’ve ever encountered! :))

Argo is my favourit place in Peterborough town at the moment.Great atmosphere for any occassion.I've been there for brunch,evening cocktails with tapas,food and drinks for a work do,date night,Sunday lunch with my daughter.And all I had,was great experience.The staff is always nice and welcoming,food is always delicious(beyond meat burger is my fav right now).I love the decor.

Good menu choices vegans and vegetarian friendly, we both had a good meal and would definitely return next Peterborough beer festival, just what you need the next morning after a full day on beer.

We had lunch with a friend and it was quite lovely. The food was really good and the service was nice. The atmosphere was really great as we sat outside and saw street performers and that was very entertaining.

Excellent for Gluten Free, large menu which is a bonus, staff very knowledgeable. Atmosphere fantastic food and service excellent. I would highly recommend this lovely place.

The restaurant was extremely busy during the lunch hour, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is unfortunately a need to improve the cleaning (stains and lipstick marks are left on the cutlery and glasses). A salad with chicken, bacon, and avocado is something I recommend to try

We visit quite a lot of lounges on our travels and found this one not quite as good as some of the others. The lounge itself was ok. Exactly what you would expect. Our drinks arrived promptly however the food took a little while to arrive. We had the bacon and eggs (eggs Benedict). With a side of hash browns. The food was warm, but not especially hot. The eggs over cooked and there was not really a lot of hollandaise sauce. It was quite busy, despite this the staff were up to the usual standard.

Poor quality in food, hot plates cold food, gloppy egg, vegetables hard. Pancakes ok, sauce very sharp. Full breakfast again hot plates cold food, poor quality of produce

Had breakfast, 1st offering was cold and was replaced without fuss, however, the sausage and bacon were still cold along with the tinned mushrooms, cost at £15 was reasonable for a city centre but you have to ask yourself why it was only 10% full on a busy Thursday morning. Coffee was really good though and the front of house staff were doing their best.

We are regularly goer’s at the Argo Lounge .. Lee was very helpful and friendly.. enjoyed our experience and will recommend to others 😊👍

Always good food and great atmosphere

I've sat down on my own, I've ordered Buddah bowl salad bottle of water and glass of red wine, after I've finished its been 40 minutes nobody approached to the table to clear up or ask was everything okay!?? Clearly not happy wouldn't recommend think you need more training for your staff to be on Point to give better service or focus on guests satisfaction, wearing make up doesn't make business work smooth. Good luck.

I had to kill some time before a meeting so I visited to study for an hour or so. I was greeted by a lovely member of staff with excellent customer service skills named Alex. She was super friendly and helpful. I was greeted with a smile and she showed me to a nice quiet spot to study. My tea was brought to the table so quickly and even though it seemed busy upstairs she was very attentive and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Brilliant staff member and I’m sure lots of establishments could do with implementing this level of service. Thankyou Alex for your help :)

Not the kind of place we would normally consider but it was recommended so we thought we'd give it a go, and I'm so glad we did. We went as a group of 10 on a Saturday afternoon and they were very accomodating. Huge menu with plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, and excellent value. Most of our group had burgers which they all said were fantastic. I had a trio of tapas, all of which were superb. We would definitely go again.

Came here for lunch after visiting the nearby cathedral. It's a lovely building with an array of pictures to admire. The menu has a good variety and I opted for poached eggs with spinach and mushrooms, and my partner had a lounge breakfast. We did wait quite a while for the food, but it was busy and therefore suggested that everything was being cooked fresh. We were asked if we wanted any sauces and my partner requested some brown sauce which never materialised until I asked again. This is clearly a popular place to eat and drink, and we would return.

Food is to die for! You don't really have experience with staff unless it's to say sit anywhere or to bring you your food. So can't really comment.. but the tapas omg is beautiful!

Visited a few times now and the food is always good. This time we ordered a load of tapas dishes to share and everything tasted great.

This is a wonderful place from what I've seen in my time there. Fantastic friendly staff who seem genuine and that makes a difference. The whole atmosphere is great due to the staff I feel. Also a beautiful building etc. Best pub in Peterborough

The person in charge of employment has absolutely smashed it out of the park with Emi and Nikisha. After a minor miscommunication these two came through with not only exemplary customer service but went above and beyond to rectify the mishap. Nikisha was well mannered and kind. Emi was courteous and even left a heart on my coffee, making the day that bit sweeter. These two deserve the shout out

Came in for dinner. Got a couple of burgers - both the same one. I had sweet potato fries with mine and the other was with plain fries, both were cold and promptly replaced when mentioned but I think they may have just gone back into the fryer as mine were overdone and scorching hot when they came back out. Noticed toward the end that the burgers were also the wrong way around as mine should have had jalapeños and the other without so my dining partner who doesn't agree with spicy got an unpleasant surprise and I was disappointed. We had paid by the app and no check back done but by that point we were pretty much done and wanted to get going so left it. The atmosphere inside seemed great, loved the decor and enjoyed being able to sit outside. Just got let down by the food.

We came in at 5pm and were pleasantly surprised by the offer where with every main they include a free desert or an alcoholic beverage. We weren’t expecting much at first as it is a chain but we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and bubbly staff members who actually kept up a conversation with us. That’s a rare trait. The food was also amazing, everything came out within 15/20 minutes of ordering and it was all piping hot and fresh. We will be coming back ♥️

December 2022. Went here for dinner with my partner, we both had the chicken paramo burger, chips and slaw. We both added an extra fillet which is great that you can do that! On arrival, we were asked if we had any dietary requirements or allergies then instructed to pick a seat. I liked being able to pick so we could avoid loud parties. We ordered and paid at the table and very quickly our drinks came out and shortly followed by our dinner. All the food was amazing, the staff very friendly also. Would definitely recommend 👌🏻. Went the next day for lunch and it was very busy, waited about 5 mins to be seated which was fine as its quality food. Again it came very quickly and tasted amazing. December 2022-We went to the argo Lounge just over a week after the first visits but with our 2 young children. Caters well for kids. The mac cheese was missing the garlic bread which wasn't a big deal and the chicken in our burgers were slightly over done so they were very Crispy, still tasted nice but not as nice as our previous visit. December 2023 - again, beautiful food, amazing atmosphere. Love it in here April 2024 -went here for our anniversary meal, had a lovely meal. Staff so friendly. Cocktails full of ice so I'd say tone down on ice and more drink 🤣 . Will keep coming back! Would definitely return and recommend.

Good breakfast on Saturday morning, great tentative staff. A nice experience

We went in after a meal elsewhere to continue celebrating my husband's 50th birthday. The staff were abrupt and very unhelpful. We had to sit in 2 separate groups away from each other. We were told to sit down, to get away from the bar (there were only 4 of us standing chatting at this point). Under NO circumstances could any tables be moved despite no one else being in that area. The whole place was really quiet so you think that the staff would be more welcoming and accommodating. Really disappointed in the attitude of the staff, especially as we just wanted a pleasant night of celebration

So pleased when I got into Peterborough city and came across Argo Lounge . These are popping up everywhere I seem to go, even in my town of Basildon. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is always good and my 2 dogs are always made comfortable. What more could I ask for?

Went on a Sunday lunch time and had plenty of seats available, the service was fast and friendly and the food was lovely , good variety of different foods , tapas , noodles, rice, something different but also burgers and all day breakfast, the bang bang chicken was amazing will definitely go back .

Had the Harissa Chicken and wasn’t really sure if it should have been served hot or cold as it was neither, lots of it but poor quality ingredients, all a bit stodgy. Service was good but food average.

Visited today for a team work brunch/ leaving , the staff had set up a lovely table downstairs for us all. I had eggs with bacon hollandaise, we had a variety of dishes, which to be honest I had food envy over all of them ! The pancakes and buttermilk chicken dishes looked awesome, and the vegan/veggie dishes I’m told were fab. I haven’t been here for ages after a bad experience, and I am happy to say I will definitely be back soon. The staff were absolutely lovely so all in all a great time .. Thank You.. 😊

Took some good friends here for lunch didn't disappoint great service food delivered in good time an hot I an my husband had the full lounge English an our friend's had the sausage an egg bap an the sausage an bacon bap they said it was lovely the egg was even runny not dried up so he was very pleased

Went here yesterday for a catch up with friends and loved it! The whole experience was made so much better our lovely server alba. she was friendly, knowledgeable and professional, a real credit to the resteraunt!

Went for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised by it all.. was a bit noisy but found a quiet corner. Had some drinks which I found rather expensive.. a half pint of ginger beer and a pint of coke... £7.50 wow...the menu looked nice and interesting.. so ordered chicken bacon and avacado burger home made slaw and sweet potato fries.. in a few minutes it was in front of us.. it was definitely nice good flavour well presented.overall a pleasant experience.. will go again but will drink water ha ha .. .

Excellent bar, cafe and restaurant in the centre of Peterborough. Part of the Lounges group which have an industrial decor and friendly staff. Excellent food plus vegan and gluten free menus. Good coffee and beer. Make sure you read what you get with the meal as you may want to add some extras. Good value for money.

There used to be homeless people sleeping along the corridor next to the restaurant, and it used to stink as you walked down there. It was off-putting. I am glad that the situation has been resolved and that the homeless have moved on. This place has been around for a while now. Probably one of the longest-running bars in Peterborough. Many others have come and gone, but this one is still going. In my opinion, the drinks are quite costly. But I am glad the locals are supporting it and it is doing well as far as I can see.

Dropped in along with a friend for a weekday brunch. Very well located and deceptively spacious inside. Ordered the Shakshuka with extra chillies - outstanding. Excellent service too.

Chef is anti-vegan. For sure. As same issue for third time. I'd be so embarrassed as a chef to serve such food. Here take this to the plant based customer. Let them eat this. Ha ha ha. I'm not vegan, (not into propa terms) I just am a plant based human, who doesn't eat animal body parts or pregnant fluids. The so called vegan breakfast is AWFUL !!! Gave it a third chance. Completely COLD and always something left over thrown on the plate. Sorry it's not fresh. Portions get smaller and smaller each time. Starving when I get in and just force myself to eat it as no clue what next would happen if I send it back. Please sack the chef. Not doing the business any favors whatsoever. Chef : let's Just take your money and bugger off basically. Service is amazing and waitresses try their very best though !

Our first itme dining at the Argo Lounge for my grand daughters 21st birthaday. The staff are amazing, they are friendly, efficient and nothing is too much trouble. They know their job and clients needs so well. A big thankyou for helping to making it a special night from all of the ten people in our party. The food was delicious, everyone one of us enjoyed our choices and we were all served together. We are looking forward to our return meal and trying other options. Well done to all the staff, front of house in the kitchen.

Always a lovely atmosphere here, met a friend on a Saturday afternoon, it was packed, so only tables were downstairs... ordered using the app, considering how busy they were, service was speedy. Food and drinks were both delicious.. plenty of choice for vegan me. Great place for both food or just a drink... definitely my favourite place in pbro.

The place had a nice atmosphere. We went for pancake day and there was a pancake decorating station. The food was lovely. Ordered a burger and a lotus milkshake.

Not visited before so was unsure what to expect. The menu had lots of options for all tastes. We ordered burgers, bang bang chicken, souvlaki flatbread, buttermilk chick, bang bang cauliflower and beef brisket chilli. It was all really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful, brought a free shot to the birthday girl, a lovely touch. The staff all seemed genuinely interested and caring. The atmosphere was good, loved the addition of games boxes which we played, a nice added item. Will definitely be back again and will recommend to all.

We have come here a few times and had lovely food and service. We came recently on a busy day, placed the order at the bar and after 20mins, still had not received our drinks. I asked a waiter, who then got our drinks. Another 25mins later, still no food and other customers who came after us were getting theirs. Enquired again and this time spoke to Tami. She immediately chased it up, apologised and told us there had been a problem with the order going through and made sure we got our meal. She then checked in on us and made sure we had everything. At the end, she also gave us a voucher to apologise again and just as we were leaving, the manager then came to us to apologise. Whilst I wish the first waiter had chased up our food, I am really impressed with the service we received. Mistakes happen but it's how you deal with them and with the service we received (and the food was lovely!) we would definitely come back again and again.

Ordering food via a QR code in the downstairs area was painful to say the least as there is not much signal and couldn't find the wifi. But persevering eventually paid off. The food I ordered was OK, nothing great it was tastier than it looked. I'd go again, but not in a great rush to do so.

This is grim and I feel sick the ketchup bottle lid top is mouldy I think they should open their eyes often. Keep up the hygiene

Had lunch today and it was busy but the staff managed to find us a table. I had the pulled brisket chilli with added chorizo and spicy rice. Absolutely delicious.
