The Lost Hour in Greenwich

My buddies and I started going to The Lost Hour after our regular pub remained closed after lockdown. After 34 years in the hospitality sector I feel I'm fairly well qualified to give an objective review. While Lost does serve food I cannot comment since I've never dined there. However, their bar staff is extremely service oriented. Very courteous and friendly. The manager, Phil, is one of the best I've encountered, great personality. My friends and I are quite happy here and have found a new "home."

Cuando me preguntaron si podía sentarme en el bar que estaba vacío, me dijeron que tendría que reservar y se negaron a mostrar rugby a pesar de que muchas pantallas mostraban fútbol para otros 5 clientes. El frente de la casa era un poco grosero.

Al entrar, todo estaba bien con las regulaciones de Covid con desinfección y seguimiento y rastreo hasta que me pasaron un bolígrafo para completar un formulario. Seguramente una computadora portátil o un dispositivo personal es mejor para esto, lo que he hecho en muchos lugares para evitar más contacto.Solicitud de aplicaciones muy simple y fácil una vez registrado.Pedí comida y me resultó muy fácil de hacer.Aquí es donde comenzaron los problemas. El menú es una cena muy americana, pero la comida que se sirve no es de ese nivel.Pedí un hombre cohete que viene con papas fritas cajún, pero salieron simples y una vez me lo preguntaron, me dijeron que no las tienen ahora. Entonces tuve que pedir otra opción de frie mejorada, lo cual hicieron, pero creo que esto debería haber sido ofrecido en lugar de asumir que estaba contento con papas fritas simples.Cuando llegaron las dos hamburguesas, le preguntamos al servidor cuál era cuál y nos dieron la hamburguesa equivocada, así que preguntamos y nos dijeron que teníamos que cambiar. A mi hamburguesa de socios le faltaba repollo, cilantro y semillas de sésamo.La comida salió a un nivel más bajo que una hamburguesa casera cocinada por un precio de pub.Las bebidas que se servían se colocaban sobre la mesa sin comunicación y se sentía muy impersonal.En general, la expectativa fue un 10 y el servicio fue un 3. Esta es la segunda vez que visita desde el cierre. La primera me ofrecieron bebidas sin hielo porque se habían acabado, pero pensé en darles una segunda oportunidad. Desafortunadamente, no ocurrirá un tercio.

El mejor lugar para ver deportes en vivo y tener la experiencia de pub imaginada en Londres: barril vibrante y sorprendente y cerveza de barril, bocadillos y hamburguesas excelentes. El personal más amable con el que me he encontrado en Londres. En COVID - 19 veces se toman todas las precauciones necesarias. ¡Ver la final de la Liga de Campeones aquí fue ÉPICO! ! !

Tomé una copa aquí. Estuvo bien. El personal no es tan amable. Fui a lugares mejores que este durante nuestra estancia.

PEOR hamburguesa de pub que he tenido, me sentí completamente estafado. . . 9. 45 por una hamburguesa (que era de una calidad similar a una Big Mac de McDonald's) y unas patatas fritas horribles. Comida y experiencia realmente decepcionantes, lo único bueno de todo fue la Diet Coke. . .

Vine aquí solo, sin mucho tiempo libre para el desayuno. Me sirvieron muy rápido y luego la comida salió poco después, lo cual fue ideal. Desayuno delicioso, ingredientes deliciosos. No se pudo manejar todo, por lo que tampoco son escasos en porciones. Volveré.

Manténgase alejado si le gusta la comida. Ordena papas fritas cargadas y para la mayor parte de 7 espera más que un puñado de papas fritas. ¡Hubiera sido decepcionante obtener el mismo tamaño de porción que un lado con una hamburguesa! Para rematar, las papas fritas estaban frías y las coberturas tampoco eran geniales. Realmente me sentí como una "hora perdida". En un aspecto positivo, la Coca-Cola Light estaba fría.

Mi amigo y yo aparecimos en Wetherspoons y pedimos el nuevo menú, esperando que los precios coincidieran con el sabor y las porciones. Tanto mi amigo como yo pedimos subs cargados, que de hecho no estaban cargados de la manera correcta. Casi 8 libras por un sub que tenía mucha salsa picante para disfrutar incluso de otros ingredientes y otro (la opción VG) sub de fruta BBQ Jack donde la relación de pan a relleno estaba completamente baja. Para 8 esperas una oferta mejor que ir a un metro.

Had a quick breakfast and a coffee and it was very good.....the staff were very friendly and all in all I couldn't fault it at all....It is so cheap compared to many places in Greenwich and I really recommend it.

Frequently visit with friends to watch the football with a few drinks (and occasionally dinner). Food and drinks are reasonably priced and the food tasted good too. Lots of screens for watching the football and the staff are friendly :)

Came for lunch whilst in Greenwich. Good beer range both ale and craft. Good platter inc wings, garlic bread, nachos, chicken strips, fries, hot dog, and onion rings. Good sauces too. One of the better stonegate pubs.

Caminamos por Greenwich por un tiempo, ¡este lugar tiene increíbles opciones vegetarianas / veganas a precios asequibles! Las bebidas son razonables también! ¡Muy recomendable! Tenemos Moving Mountains be 12 hamburguesa vegana y desayuno vegano. Algunos de los otros lugares de la zona parecían más caros, ¡además de que el desayuno se sirve todo el día! El personal es super agradable también!

Simplemente tiene una increíble comida de alas en The Lost hour, miércoles especial para 0. 25 p cada uno. Un trato tan asombroso. Fui un poco loco ordenó 50 con dos lados y algunas bebidas. Estos eran realmente sabrosos, quedó impresionado con la calidad del pollo. Bien recomendado para una noche tranquila con amigos o familiares. Un servicio de clase fue derrotado por la montaña de alas, pero los muchachos fueron muy amables al envolverlo en una linda bolsa de mano.

Even though the menu looked promising our food took over 95 minutes to be served. Terrible service we have "list more than an "hour" in this place. Food is very average. Stay away!

Very good food, cosy setting and kind personnel. I definitely recommend this place. My friend and I went here after checking out of our airbnb and before we went to the airport and had a great time and a great lunch.

Solíamos ir al Belushi para tomar una bebida rápida y algo para picar, a veces también para una comida sencilla. En los últimos años, ambas ubicaciones se han actualizado. En nuestra opinión (mi esposa y yo), The Lost Hour nos está ganando.

I can’t stress enough...you guys need to get naga sauce back it was amazing!!! I’m not gonna come to wing Wednesday until the sauce is back. The sauces you have at the moment aren’t that good - naga was the best. Is there any way you can get it back? Pleaseeee

A friend dropped over to visit Greenwich at the weekend and we were lucky to find this wonderful spot to catch up and also watch one of the best European Qualifier Football games to date on Sunday night.

Today I invited my family (wife, sons and daughter in law ) for a family lunch and a pint. Because we live nearby I suggested this place, knowing the vegan food on the menu.

Why ruin what was good? Naga sauce was essential for the wings. I went to the pub just for the wings but now all the sauces are rubbish. Get NAGA back!!!!

El buen ambiente para ver el rugby de Seis Naciones con una pantalla grande y algunos televisores más pequeños hizo que ver el partido sea una experiencia agradable. Nos sentimos picados, así que pedimos dos porciones de papas fritas por casi seis libras. Llegaron servidos en una pequeña taza de hojalata y era apenas suficiente para una persona, y mucho menos para tres tipos hambrientos. Gran resultado en el terreno de juego, pero los tamaños de las porciones de alimentos deben abordarse.

We lunch here some Fridays as a treat. The burger and pint deal is good value and very filling highly recommend it. Sports channels are on about 6 screens so whatever way you’re looking you’ll be able to see the action. Friendly bar staff

What a great pub to visit good food good beer, sports music and a great atmosphere, staff are greatn helpful and kind Phil, Dana, Nick, James, Sam etc make the place a friendly place to have a night out or just a few beers

Visited on a Tuesday evening primely to catch the football Whilst there we had Burgers and chips - homemade and good, beer was good reasonable prices for London

We came in here to kill some time waiting for our train. Quite a blokey pub didn’t see many ladies in there. Men were watching other men (presenters) watching football! We were served quickly.

I have been staying in Greenwich since early June and quickly adopted this pub as my local. Aside from the good food and atmosphere I'd like to especially thank the wonnderful team behind the bar - Dana, Kevin and Sam who are at the heart of what makes the Lost Hour So Good. I'll miss very much my chats with each of them and of course the well kept Carling! Next time I'm passing through I'll certainly be calling in to say hi. All the best team.

Very good for a beer with friends and not bad for a quick snack too. Suggested. Ps: the beer selection was amazing!

Amazing place with great food and all the sport. Friendly staff that will accommodate where possible, 3 pool tables upstairs and a fun quirky feeling to the place.

Friendly bar staff and decent quality pub food which is at a reasonable price. Also has good events happening throughout the week.

Very near to the centre of Greenwich and The Nova hotel, this bar is great for drinks and watching the Sport, good atmosphere all round

We went to watch the FA cup semis, but had to leave because of the horrible accoustics. We had a burger and a coke which ws served up relatively quick, but was a bland experience. Cannot recommend this place on the basis of my experience.

Fuimos un ajetreado sábado de rugby. Aunque había un montón de gente bebiendo y viendo el partido, el director hizo su mejor para nosotros. El compartidor inicial era fabuloso, como nacho eran todos nuestros platos principales - la torre de pollo burger, Bagel new york burger, casa grande hamburguesa y mi increíble pollo Parma. Simplemente delicioso! ! Gran ambiente. Altamente recomendado! ! Volveré.

Food was awful orded ribs which were overcooked and dry. Complained and they reheated my portion i microwave. Not happy Service ok. Would only go for drink

Popped in here on our way back from a concert at the O2. As we were quite late, this was pretty much the only pub still serving. A little off putting from the outside but we were very pleasantly surprised once in. The staff are very friendly, good choice of drinks at good prices, great lively atmosphere with festive music playing.

Esse pub tem um atendimento super legal. Ele fica em Greenwich. O mesmo também tem em Camden Town. São super gostosos e o cardápio vale a pena.

A good selection of beers and cheap food but good quality. Staff are really friendly. Worth popping in if you are on your own or with a group of friends.

I went into the Lost Hour craving fish and chips. Unfortunately it was Monday and no fish was available. I therefore had a burger...and was not disappointed! The pub has an excellent atmosphere and the food excellent. Give it a go!

Visité el perdido horas por primera vez, en la semana a mediodía. Cuando descubrí que era celíaco, Joseph, el chef, salió en persona para ayudarme a decidir qué elegir del menú, y se ofreció para adaptarlo donde pudiera.

We called in here when visiting friends in Greenwich. The decor is quite trendy and there were plenty of TVs showing sports. Apparently you can also use the TVs to play on Game Cube but we didn't take advantage so we can't comment.The food was very nice my wife and I had the North Eastern delicacy of a chicken parmo which was nice especially for London. Our friends had a sharing platter which looked excellent and the fact that they demolished it should be proof it was. The prices were also very reasonable, we had 2 main courses and 2 soft drinks for just over £20. I would definitely eat here again.

Dry hard fish, salad with "ranch" dressing was disgusting. The dressing was some tomato spicy chemical concoction, no idea. Google ranch dressing and get the recipe guys. This is a pub, go for cold beer but do not eat here.Good air con. Off hand service

Visited here on sat night, really cool decor and friendly staff easy to get drinks though. Ordered food in the night turned up quickly and was very tasty. Good atmosphere cool place to hang out and watch sport.

Came here a couple of times with my other half as we were staying locally, having come from Dublin. Place is clean, funky & affordable. Good drinks promos, selection & nice atmosphere. They offer a "secret DJ" service where you download an app and you can choose the music, instead of a jukebox. However fails to mention that you only get three song choices and then you have to pay for the songs. Ordered lunch one day too. Katsu curry burger is basically goujons with curry sauce on them in a burger. They serve it with mayonnaise on one side of the burger, which is absolutely rotten. Curry and mayo DONT GO! Wings were tough, as was the chicken in the burger. All in all, nice place but your food needs work. Don't deep fry everything.

Decided to try this place out, from the outside didn't look a very good place but once inside it was a nice surprise. Staff were very polite on the day we visited food is reasonably priced and drinks a reasonable price so was pleased we visited. Seemed a very busy little place and from a comment made by another customer the place had been recently refurbished

Siamo stati indirizzati in questo locale da una ragazza italiana che lavorava alla reception dell'albergo nel quale alloggiavamo. Il locale è molto carino, in una zona centrale di Greenwich, pienissimo di gente già alle 19.30. La cameriara ci ha fatto accomodare ad una delle estremità di un ampio tavolo rettangolare, occupato dall'altro lato da due ragazze. Il tavolo, essendo comunque molto ampio, permetteva di avere il proprio spazio e di non invadere le rispettive privacy. Una chicca è la presenza di prese per poter ricaricare il proprio cellulare, tablet o altro apparecchio elettronico. Nel locale si ordina direttamente al banco e una volta pagato viene fornito un numero da poggiare sul tavolo e il cibo viene poi portato dai camerieri. Questo metodo permette di avere una certa rapidità nell'ordinazione, nel ricevere il cibo e nell'andar via dal locale. Cosa non da poco data la grande affluenza di gente. Noi abbiamo ordinato due Chicken melt burger e due mezze pinte di birra per un totale di 18pounds. Il cibo era buono e abbondante e il prezzo onesto. Lo consiglio...anche solo per bere una birra in compagnia!

Went to Greenwich for a birthday bash, after going through town found it was very busy. So on our way back to the travel lodge we decided to pop in for a beer, and a bite to eat, had a really good afternoon of drinking and eating, there was 8 of us outside enjoying all the food and beer. The beer was extremely reasonable by london prices and so was the food. Thanks to everyone who made it a good afternoon, we will be back if we are in Greenwich again. Also everyone we were with also stated they had a great time as well.

Never left a review on TripAdvisor review but my experience at the last hour was so disappointing I felt like I needed to.Bar staff can't count. Bill for food and drink was 11.45. Gave the bar staff 21.45 which confused her. I told her the change would be £10 but she didn't understand and insisted it was £9.Ordered vegan pad Thai. Was very clearly a Sainsbury's stir fry meal deal. The sauce wasn't pad Thai -- it was black bean. The noodles were egg noodles and the (scarce) toppings where exactly what you'd find in a meal deal stir fry kit -- limp mushrooms, straw like carrot and slices of potato. In no whatsoever did it represent a pad Thai.So disappointing. Won't be coming here again.

I was in Greenwich for a friends wedding on Saturday and my children who are Reading FC season ticket holders had to miss the game against Leeds. I spoke to the manager and he gave us a table at the back with a TV and we had our own private viewing of the game. The food was excellent and I the service great too. They really looked after us, and we left one big happy family. Thank you very much, it really was appreciated.

They serve all day breakfast even though their menu says only till noon, which for us was great. Service was good, food was good for price paid, very good value for money! Good selection of Ales on tap (which was also the case on a previous visit in Nov 2016) Will use again.

Yesterday myself and my boyfriend ate in this pub... We had recently eaten in the lost hour just after it opened and loved the food, we thought it was great value for money and had recommended it to all our friends,so we thought this would be the perfect place to come. However we left feeling very underwhelmed and disappointed after ydays visit. My boyfriend had the burger and I had the chicken, both of which were tasteless and poor quality. He had chips and I had sweet potato fries both were undercooked. As we had to leave quite promptly due to tickets to a gig we didn't have time to reorder or complain but after reflecting on the meal we both feel like we could have eaten somewhere much better and we're quite upset with the standard especially because the first time we ate there we loved it. I am not too sure how the quality could have gone down so fast after just opening? I really wanted to write a personal complaint to you but unfortunately your email address box in the formal complaint section of your website stopped this from happening as it will not allow more then 15 characters. I really hope that this feedback will be seen thanks

Just had a refurb so as in the title felt a bit old , my problem. So much better than before really attentive staff , on the ball . Food good quick and very reasonable . Check it out if you are in greenwich , it really fits the place. Cool for even me .

Yes, definitely a good place to lose an hour on a damp Saturday afternoon. Rugby on the screens and a friendly waitress to serve our wraps etc. Decent selection of real ales were a welcome bonus. Only slight negative was that the party at the next table had clearly been there for much more than an hour judging by the noise level.

This lovely pub/bar is amazing! It has been freshly refurbished recently! The staff is super friendly! It is really nice and clean! The do nice cocktails, offer free wi-fi and you can even print something urgent upon request! During the day is quiet so u can read, or just finish something on your laptop while drinking a nice cup of tea! On the top floor, there is a space for some additional entertainment. The food is nice, too with some lovely vegetarian options/Have fun!

The mango cider is worth visiting this establishment for on it's own and you will not be disappointed. The ambience is relaxed and comforting, will come again when in the area.

Limited options for lunch, wraps and focaccia bread, fillings were generous and meal deals offer good value.

What a great find ! I was having a pint whilst playing on a games console. It felt like I was back in the nineties again. Really laid back place with a little beer garden to the rear. Would deffo visit again with friends.

There's a reason this pub is called the lost hour. You will wait for ever to get a drink only to find out that they have not got much. The lost Hour, very appropriate.

Restaurant had a good deal for two people back when I traveled there. Good food, great atmosphere. Was close to our hostel.

This pub has actually accurate name... after we left I had a feeling it was lost hour of my life. I make sure I won't come back again. When we walked in we thought it was not long time ago nicely refurbished pub, well don't take closer look - everything was filthy, tables with empty glasses on and if they were removed no one really bother to wipe the sticky surface, massive whole in the wall of ladies toilet etc. It was quite surprising that on the afternoon during the weekend there was only one staff working. Poor girl tried to run around and do everything, but it was too much to serve the people behind the bar, take the food to the table, clean the pub area and try to calm down the noisy customers who came to watch a table - manager not to be seen. I like to go to pub to watch football as well, but this guys made us feeling like the pub was bursting with people even if only few tables were occupied. Luckily we didn't have to wait so long for the food. Menu was vast with different plates to share and breakfast menu looked quite good with cheap prices, well not sure if I want to come back and try as out order was mediocre. Hamburger could be cooked for bit longer and the chicken salad could have more seasoning. So we left very very disappointed and sorry for the staff working there.

Just returned from eating at this pub, firstly we had booked a table, we were mega early but as the pub was relatively empty at that point we didn't think it would matter. We mentioned the booking to the staff and asked of it would be ok to eat earlier instead. We received a blank look and was told there were no bookings down for that night anyway so yes go ahead and eat. We had previously been to the same chain in a different part of the country where the food was outstanding so naturally we had high hopes for dinner. My choice was from the Pies Glorious Pies selection and was the beef and double gloucester pie. Having lived in NZ for 10 years where the national dish could easly be a beef and cheese pie i was really looking forward to my food. When the food eventually arrived i received a very sorry measly slice of pie which i kid you not was no more than 3 inches x 3 inches. The short crust pastry looked and tasted like it was some sort pf suet pastry and was not crisp as advertised by had a soggy bottom and top as well as side. There was no hint of cheese in either taste or appearance. I am regretful to say i didn't send it back or complain as the rest of my friends food all looked to be of a decent standard and portion size. We also ordered pudding which again took a long 30 minutes to arrive. I assume it had been sat waiting to be served as the icecream with it was almost a puddle. This was brought to us with no spoons and so we had to wait a further 5 minutes for those. My entire meal was totally unsatisfactory.

Hier met een groep van 100 personen geweest na een optreden in Alfege Church. Boven was een ruimte gereserveerd. Helaas stonden de hapjes niet klaar die we van te voren hadden besteld maar daar werd hard aan gewerkt en kwam uiteindelijk goed. Ik had de indruk dat de manager de informatie niet goed had overgedragen. (Zij was zelf niet aanwezig ) Drankjes zeer schappelijke prijzen en een goede sfeer.

Our Choir had a nice meeting with members of another Choir, about 85 people. Enough space but TV's were on loudly with a football match. There were not enough wine glasses but wine was served in other glasses. Asked if they could serve a meal for three people within a certain time, No Problem. Paid in advance due to time. In the end we left without eating, they were too busy serving drinks. We got our money back.

Lovely staff, nice food, one of the cheapest pubs in the area with the best quality! Shows all sports over two floors, has a pool table and a small patioed garden. Quiz night on a thursday is the best one iv been to the guy who runs it is hilarious and the prizes are good. Definately worth a visit!

This is a really good value pub in the middle of historic Greenwich. Cheap, good quality pub grub , and choice of beers makes it a great alternative to the expensive alternatives in the area

We had fish and ships for a tenner for both of us. Add a bottle of wine for also a tenner. We had lunch for twinty pounds wine included. The staff were friendly and the pub was clean, good atmosphere.

Turned up for the 7pm quiz (started just before 8 - but that's fine). Grabbed a table, and encountered possibly the rudest display of customer service I have ever witnessed. This was over us being on the quizmaster's table. We didn't know and there was no way of knowing. Eventually the member of staff let us stay (no other tables were available). Other member of barstaff was lovely. Quizmaster was on point. £5 burger was excellent considering the price. Risotto was congealed and half-soup.

Came for a weekend away. Popped In for a drink whilst taking in the sights. Great little pub. Drinks was the cheapest on the stretch of pubs and staff was friendly. Locals made you feel welcome.Worth a visit.

The four of us popped in around 2pm for a very quick lunch stop and were told there would be a 30 minute wait for food, which was fine. At 3pm two of our party had got their meals, but myself and my husband hadnt. There was no real explanation as to the delay (as the pub was quiet!), and the bar staff looked like they really didnt want to be there.We ordered 4 diet cokes which were all pretty flat, and when the food came it was pretty poor quality. The chicken skewers I had looked like theyd been left on a bbq for about 3 days and the salad came with no dressing so the entire dish was very dry. the rest of the food looked like a typical wetherspoons type meal, which had we paid wetherspoons prices, I guess we wouldnt have minded so much.

My wife has Celiac Disease, and this was among the first restaurants we found near our hotel. Pretty decent food, well-poured points, and a reasonable atmosphere. I did like the football goal urine cakes that motivated proper aiming. Good times, good times.

Se vi trovate a Greenwich potete fermarvi a mangiare in questo pub . Buon cibo a prezzi modici ( che a Londra è quasi impossibile ) ! Unico appunto negativo la cameriera al banco che non sorride mai ...

A colleague booked this as he had a taste card and said that he could get a reduction on the cost of the meal, we had the upper floor to ourselves so we agreed to give it a go.....The food was indeed cheap, it was very poor and often only partly heated through, three of the group were ill afterwards. We put our order in together but it was trotted out over a prolonged 2 hour period with the last person eating at least an hour after the first person finished. The choice of beer was limited - there was bottled Brewdog on the list but the real beer was replaced with Nanny State 0.5% without being consulted by the bar maid. We tried the cocktails but they were unappealing due to the lack of ice. When questioned on this the bar maid's response was that she couldn't be bothered to spend £1.50 going to get a bag from the neighbouring supermarket.This was a leaving party for 3 colleagues - what a disappointing evening!

Good choice of beer etc. Good food selection but quite ordinary. No wow factor here. Located a little out of the central area.

We stopped here for lunch which was very tasty and good value for money. A little too much was the only fault, but you can't complain at that. Friendly staff.

A look of utter disdain was what I was meet with and gotreceived after asking assistance while the barmaid was on the phone. Great service. Wings are always good , can't knock them. About ten people doing the quiz , says it all really. Service grim wake up. Thank god I am not a tourist what does that say about London. If you don like your job get another one.

This pub is a solid favourite of mine, even if it is a bit off the beaten track. It is large, friendly, extremely well priced (think half the price of Canary Wharf!), there are plenty of big screens if you like to watch sport, they run a quiz night, and the biggest factor for me; the chicken wings! You can get 50 wings for £10, they are only small wings but very tasty, and great to share. Interestingly enough, the entire chain removed the wings from their menu, however, an appeal to head office by staff and customers alike meant this one pub in the chain has retained the wings. People power at it’s very best! Only negative point, I was sad to notice when we went there most recently that they have got rid of the quiz machine from the pool table area upstairs. Also, when the sport is on it can be very loud, don’t go here expecting to find a quiet corner to read a book!

We watched the Royal Ascot race whilst enjoying a double cheese topped mac-and-cheese and a mashed potato plate with peas and carrots. Service was at the bar, and fairly slow to deliver the food, but nice enough. Not really a bad spot to lose an hour.

We came to The lost hour to get some food and drink while watching the football. I ordered some nice white wine and then the food came. ..what is this?...4 wedges with an unknown sauce for Patatas bravas and 4 olives and a slice of white bread for Warmed Ciabatta and olives. The vegetarian english breakfast was fine but the mushrooms disappeared too...very dissapointed.

Had nice dinner, reasonable priced, friendly staff. We had so far the nicest burger in a pub or restaurant. Salad with calamari and chorizo was very nice and light, too.

The pub was good value and the small plates we had were nice and well cooked, but however I do not expect people to serve you when they are on the phone, it's just a bit rude.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Pub. Für mich unerwartet sehr geräumig und entspannt-ruhig. Essen und Getränke sehr günstig. Dafür natürlich kein Gourmet-Niveau. Aber das hatten wir an diesem Abend auch nicht gesucht. Essen war in angemessener Zeit serviert. Ich hatte mir einen Pie rausgesucht. Ich fand, das musste man bei einem London-Trip definitiv mitnehmen. Da mir an der Stelle die Vergleichsmöglichkeiten fehlen, kann ich nur von meinem persönlichen Geschmack ausgehen. Der wurde nicht ganz getroffen. War aber an sich ok. Absolut fantastisch an diesem Abend jedoch der Nachtisch!!! Ein Muss!!!

Popped in for lunch today with a friend from work and had a beautiful lunch. Will defo pop in again. Food service was very efficient

What can I say. Definitely 5 out of 5. Manageress amazing, came to pub looking for somewhere to watch the rugby. Went out of way to please us. No complaints especially as a Friday night. Food was great. Beer including craft beer without fault. If only I lived local would have made this my regular.

Not a warm welcome. 45 minutes for food (the place had 2 other tables with guests). 2 of us had chicken, I think it'd be cooking for the entire 45 minutes it was that tough. One of us complained....no apology, just a refund handed in coins whilst the rest of us ate our meals. They somehow managed to overcook sweet potato fries! And a friend's ultimate burger wasn't that 'ultimate'; just a burger with a bit of chicken and some fries, nothing on the side and measly portions. Don't be fooled by the nice looking menu, they certainly don't stay open due to their food revenues!
