The Loft Coffee Shop in Leeds

This cafe is raved about in and around Farsley, yet we must have gone in on an off day. The staff were not very helpful and i'm pretty sure that flimsy sandals isn't the correct dress code as footwear? There was no menus on the tables, so looking at the big one on the counter was off putting as the staff were huffing under their breath because we didn't know what we wanted. Two large cappuccinos, 2 glasses of water (which we didn't get although we asked twice) , panini which came with a tiny piece of lettuce, a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber, was this the 'salad'? The sandwich was just a roll with meat in it, no salad at all. We were ignored, swept around, spraying tables near us, did we do something wrong or not have the right look? Lived in Farsley for 20 years, I don't think we'll be visiting again.

I often enjoy a nice peaceful latte here whilst i wait for my daughter to finish her dance class which is in the same building. Its very clean, staff are friendly and although i haven't eaten here yet, the food looks delicious.

Great. Really nice cafe food. Even my daughter liked it and she is picky. Friendly staff too. Cage is in the list of an old mill next to the workhouse gym.

Myself and 3 friends went for a pre christmas get together.we had booked afternoon tea for us all.it didn't disappoint. Table decorated beautifully with crackers and lovely crockery.the food was delicious,lots of choice and very filling (we had to get a box to take some home!) Plenty of tea to wash it down too.great value for money.hope they do it next year as we'll definitely be back.

What a great place for Elevens's. A pleasant welcome on arrival, our usual order of Latte and Cappuccino with a slice of lemon drizzle cake and of course a flapjack YUM! Usual prices which this morning our loyalty card was full so we had a reduction in cost. A pleasant ambience to relax and have a break. Congratulations staff on service and civility.

Lovely Cafe with gorgeous food and wonderful service. Hidden Gem and the cost is great too. Will definitely be going back.

Just enjoyed THE most delicious, tasty, generous and fresh afternoon tea, served beautifully at The Loft Coffee Shop in Farsley. The place took a bit of finding, but it was well worth it. The menu included a lovely variety of sandwiches, warm sausage rolls, quiche & scones (with jam and cream) and delicious cakes and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea were unlimited and it was excellent value. Cannot recommend the food, service and atmosphere highly enough!

Met some friends here and had a nice chat...outside that is because it is l-o-u-d inside. The person behind the counter was pleasant and efficient; just the kind of person you want to encounter taking your order (thanks!). Unfortunately, she had to repeat herself over and over with questions because of the sound level, but we made it through the ordering process. My friends and I ordered one of each kind of scone and two were awful with only one being somewhat edible. There is some 90 minute parking available out front if you're lucky enough to get a spot. May or may not return but if I do I'll settle for an iced tea and leave it at that.

Friends and ourselves have always on a few occasions visited The Loft Coffee Shop and have always been met with a welcoming staff and great service with fabulous selection of food. Hot and cold sandwiches. Congratulations to staff. Pleasant atmosphere.

Have visited three times now with our young grandson & always received a warm welcome. They have a good choice of hot & cold sandwiches + some specials. Good choice for breakfast & range of hot drinks. The area is clean & spacious so you are not sitting on top of each other.

Amazing coffee friendly staff and georgous food what more do you need. I believe it’s under new management but you wouldn’t know the service and food is brilliant, it’s as if you have been doing for years. I’ll be back that’s for sure

Friends and I have visited The Loft Coffee Shop on a few occasions now. We are always met with the same great service and always with a smile, even at busy times. The food is great and the home cooked cakes are delicious. If you want a really good barista coffee this is the place for you. On top of all that it is always immaculately clean.

My friend and I visited for breakfast for our first time, after my wife had enjoyed food and coffee here, and told us to visit. The food served here is without doubt high quality, The sausages and bacon in particular were outstanding, and there is a great selection of coffees - ours were fabulous. The manager and her staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Third visit for lunch. Good menu, reasonable prices and clean. Downside, could be lots of toddlers and noisy, Not a problem for me ,certainly a consideration for my husband.

Uncomplicated menu, great coffee, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. There's also a few kiddie bits and cute little chairs for them to sit in.

I called here for lunch after reading favourable reviews on Trip Advisor. The cafe itself was upstairs just outside the Workhouse Gym, it's clean and spacious. The staff are friendly and cheerful, the ham salad sandwich I had was tasty and the salad ingredients fresh....

The staff here are so helpful and accommodating and the food is fabulous, tasty and reasonably priced. I cannot recommend this enough.

We visited for a coffee, which was the best coffee ever I had. Also we tried the pepperoni toasties and chicken salad sandwich, which was also a great choice. The staff was extremely friendly. Not an expensive coffes shop at all. Very nice atmosphere there.

Really enjoyed our visit. Coffee was full bodied and the toastie was perfect! Prices are really good with £2.00 a toastie and £1.50 for a coffee and for that price who can complain!! Plenty of seating too. Will be back again
