Please Please Please fix your outdoor heaters, we often go elsewhere just to be warm 50 secs is not enough. A 15 minute job for someone?

Spent a great few hours here, friendly staff, great selection of drinks, gorgeous building including gorgeous toilets. Really enjoyed Kane's DJ set playing fantastic tunes, lovely guy too. Definately our regular pub

25/04/24: Session Ale. Toilets were very pleasant 😂 29/07/24: JW Lees: Manchester Pale Ale and JW Lees: Oat Milk Stout 27/06/23: very dog friendly "we prefer dogs to people" so we had the MPA and Restless Ghosts: black forest gateau brown ale. Archie had water!

Cheap drinks and good atmosphere!

Popped into The Lloyds for a quiet lunchtime drink. Loved the interior and the drinks, I had a Guinness and my wife and daughter had cappuccinos...but best of all was our lovely barman. What a star! We would not hesitate to return next time we are in Chorlton.

Great reasonably priced venue. Clean and food is good. Had a great evening in there with friends on Folk night.

Lovely cosy neighbourhood pub with cute decor and friendly staff. Live music once a month and function room for hire.

A huge John W Lees pub with a bowling green to the rear. It was doing a good Sunday food trade. Beer range from JW Lees brewery. Paulicarus had the bitter. There is a north facing front terrace and a sunnier one to the side. Very pleasant open plan pub. Large toilets downstairs.

Decent beer and the bar staff were pleasant.

We came for food and the acoustic night. The atmosphere was great and the loaded fries were excellent. Can't wait for the next one!

I had a great day here for a friend's wedding. Lots of nice beer on tap. The food was nice too.

Had a Sunday lunch for the first time today can highly recommend it was delicious, bottomless gravy and Yorkshire puds a great touch too, staff very pleasant and helpful

What a shame for a place that has some of the most attentive and polite staff, the food and ambience let the place down. The furnishings need an overhaul unless they're supposed to look worn and tattered. The food wasn't great. Pale soggy chips, greasy burgers, too much cheese for the kids on a burger and microwave or reheated wings in sauce. Not the best. Taste was lacklustre. It could be a fab eatery but needs attention. Staff however faultless!

Had gluten free fish chips and peas about 10 days ago. Thanks whoever the Chef was on the Saturday afternoon. Everything was lovely. Tartar sauce homemade Gluten free batter yummy.

We love this pub - beautiful building, good drinks and the food tastes good. It has a great atmosphere and often has live music and events. However, each time we have eaten here, it has been ruined - the first main arrived 20 minutes before the last, without any explanation why. We gave it a second chance and the same thing happened. It is a shame as everything else is great, but it ruined both visits and would make me nervous about taking friends or family.

We come to quiz nights, most Wednesday, which is really good, lots of fun! Staff are friendly, great atmosphere. Drinks are reasonable.

We’ve been coming to The Lloyds for a while now and really enjoy Wednesday night quiz nights! Such good fun and it’s a proper paper quiz too… none of your IPad ones. Big shout out to the staff.. all so friendly and courteous.. lovely bunch of people! Foods good too! Especially the apple crumble Xx

I came to see a band who were still setting up, so I ordered a pint. Somewhat taken aback by the price, I paid with a card. A few minutes later the bartender called me over and said "That didn't go through, mate. Some other customer just ended up paying for it." I doubted this, but paid again, this time in cash. I've just checked my bank statement and I've paid Lloyd's twice for pretty mediocre service. Won't be going back.

Excellent food freshly made, not your usually pub fayre. A warm welcome from the moment you enter to the time you leave from the manager and his friendly team behind the bar. Visited on many occasion and never been.let down.

Great atmosphere, excellent customer service from Landlord and staff! Returning back to our original reunion meet up location! Will be returning very soon.

Quiz night at The Lloyds, in a fun and friendly environment. Teams were chatty and welcoming as were the staff. Great selection of drinks and a varied selection of meals on the menu. Definately wurth a visit!

Nice relaxed atmosphere tonight until about 8.00 pm, it is Saturday after all..Good comfy seats and lots of seating outside. Will visit again.

Food is always so nice here. Definitely would recommend the Tower Burger

A very pleasant evening with good bar service and a wide selection of drinks too! The only negative is that some of the seating could do with replacing or at the very least reupholstered.

Went there yesterday with a friend and had the Cheese & Onion pie and it was just how I like it, a good firm pie and no potato used to bulk it out like they do in some places. Would definitely have this again next time. The lady who served us was very friendly and efficient and I would recommend this place for a casual meal.

Poor service but meal was ok. Pleasant atmosphere. Took a while to get children’s menus so I had to go and ask for them. Children’s meals looked fine.

We have lived in Chorlton for years and used to like the place however the last couple of times have been strange occasions. The first time we ordered drinks at the bar and asked if there was any beer mats? To which the barman replied "the manager does not like beer mats" and so asked for napkins and was told they had run out, looking around the guests was sat there eating food with lengths of kitchen roll instead of napkins. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and booked 6 of us for Sunday dinner (our own beer mats in hand) on FA cup afternoon. We ordered drinks and politely asked if the football (with sound off) could be put on the tv as no one was watching Sky News and was told the manager does not like football and so would not change the channel. As much as I like the beer I wont be going in again until it is under new management, which is a shame really as they do have a talented singer on in the afternoons on Sundays.

Great atmosphere, music was great. Lovely for quick pint with family. Beer quite expensive but the service was excellent.

Food not quite top notch, but no complaints, we would recommend to others and if in the area again would definitely choose Lloyds. Molly gave exceptional table service, nothing was too much trouble, very smiley and polite.

It was pleasant enough. I didn't eat or drink there so can't comment on that aspect. Decent seating in a spacious area. The building is dated but in saying so it has character. The toilets are clean and pleasant to use. The toilets are downstairs so accessibility could be an issue. I did not observe any on ground floor level. Still, there are powerful dryers. That will do for me. 👍🏼👍🏼

4 of us went for the pre Christmas dinner and it was fantastic , prawn cocktail we all thought was the best ever , Christmas dinner was great full or taste and plenty of it , whilst at this point I was well stuffed just had to eat the Christmas pub and glad I did , well done to all the team we had a great night x Highly recommended xxx

Best visit to date. Service much improved. It was busy , atmosphere was great. Nice singer on. Order a children's meal which was good value and free ice cream is decent. Will be back on a Sunday tea time.

A warm welcoming establishment....incredibly dog friendly. Staff polite with conscientious conduct. Great menu & excellent coffee ☕️. Keep up the high standards. A very pleasant visit would not hesitate to recommend for special occasions.

A great experience today with the family. Fantastic food and service. I would recommend the burger and the Sunday roast but everything that came out was nice. Great value!

Came here after a disastrous experience at Hive in Stretford. A decent Sunday roast with excellent melt in the mouth beef. Staff were super friendly and service was impeccable. As an added bonus they had a live performer who was very talented.

Visited yesterday evening with husband and two sons age 5 and 7 Lots of space, seating and atmosphere. Even a singer to keep us entertained. Friendly and genuine staff. Ordered Sunday dinner I went veggie, lovely patties plus all the veg, crispy potatoes, thick gravy...

3 things we asked for were out. Roast was just okay. Staff were friendly

Service was shocking, food was not very nice at all and hardly any of it, the veg was discoloured and soggy and the Yorkshire pudding were hard and turned to dust, even with the lumpy gravy they provide. After dinner only half the plates were collected we had to ask for the rest to be removed, we was given no menus and no sauce for the Sunday dinner and we waited a long time for food the only reason I'm giving 2 stars was because we enjoyed the brownies for dessert and beers. Don't recommend eating here at all have a beer instead

Best pub roast I’ve had in years. Beautifully cooked, very tasty, massive portion, great live music, lovely, friendly staff.

Could literally live in this place 😬 it has everything! Great staff, fantastic atmosphere, very relaxing with it's contemporary style of seating both indoors and out, beer garden to the rear overlooking a bowling green, prices of drinks a little over the average but for the sake of a couple of pence in comparison to wetherspoons it's a no brainer! Haven't actually had a main meal as yet, my partner and I keep getting the same dishes each time we visit 🙄 (Should be more adventurous but hey) 100% good time garaunteed 😃

Great boozer, my local, only ever had a breakfast but was good. Great quiz on a Wednesday eve. MCR craft lager is lovely ! Have had the pie night on a Tuesday a few times now and it's great. New landlord is great and staff all amazing. Had the burger deal on a Monday bargain only £10 with a pint

£4.20 for a Carlsberg shandy 🤯 If that was an error is a bad one and too late to correct.

Staff poorly organized , food was 45 mins overern ready chips not cooked mushy peas are precooked , and when they baby's food arrived no sweet potato chips they were forgotten , so I will not be going there again no thanks 👎👎👎

Great venue to hire rooms for events. I attend a baby massage class here and the staff are fantastic. Welcoming and couldn't be more helpful.

Staff and extremely friendly, the food is great and reasonably priced, the portions are generous. The live music on Sundays is fantastic too. I always look forward to that.

This place has soooo much potential, Chorlton needs a really good pub with a creche. You could make a fortune of they redesigned it, and got better beer.

The food is nice. The pub has a cosy feel. Staff are great. Good wine selection. Definitely worth a visit. Lost one star as more vegan/veggie options would be good.

Sunday dinner was bad, I could build a baracade wall with the solid hard vegetables. My friends roast chicken was pink inside. The staff were lovely one offered 2 bottles of wine as compensation. Then gave us one but the manager wouldn’t authorise the second but did not communicated this to the table. The 3 cheese cauliflower cheese had literally 3 grated cheese pieces….no sauce and rock solid. We did get this refunded. The piggies in blankets were anaemic the only saving grace was the Yorkshire pudding and beef. It took an hour for the food to arrive, then after waiting 20 minutes for the manager who was ‘not meant to be working today’ as if I should be grateful he was seeing me at all! He was arrogant rude and once I explained the term ‘managing customer expectations’ he stopped being as rude. A couple before me gave up waiting for the manager to complain….you get the jist of underwhelming it was. Would not go again that’s for sure!!!

Nicely decorated, very comfortable and copy. The staff are friendly and nice, especualy a blond lady, Unfortunately didn't get her name. I had a burger and was best one ever had in pubs arround Manchester. Definetly recomend and going back. Thank you for a nice time!

I had my birthday party here and highly rate the staff. They are so friendly - bar man for my party was lovely, other staff helping out were brilliant and accommodating. We just wanted a nice chill event for everyone to get together and it was perfect. No hassle or fuss, some of my friends were planning on booking the same place for their own events.
