The team at The Llama Tree could not have been more helpful and friendly when we asked if we could host part of our wedding there. We love West Wight Alpacas, just over the driveway, and we thought how wonderful it would be to feed our guests pizza after an experience feeding (and walking!) the animals. We struggled to choose from the pizza menu because everything sounded delicious! So the team did an even split of all their topping options and honestly, I'm still struggling to pick a favourite! Us, our families and our friends all enjoyed their pizza and audibly agreed with an Aunt when she said 'this is the best pizza outside of Italy!' The Llama Tree team decorated their space with very pretty wedding decorations and set the table beautifully. They kindly boxed up leftovers which did not last long - enjoyed and complimented again as an evening snack... and once more for breakfast! Thank you to all at The Llama Tree and West Wight Alpacas for making our first day as husband and wife so memorable!

Came to visit the farm mid morning. We were peckish so decided to grab something from The Llama Tree before we went around to see the animals. We walked in and the tables were covered in crates and tour of some sort. At first I thought perhaps they weren't open. We were then told (quite abruptly) by a woman behind the till that they only been open 2 minutes and that everything would a while to cook. This is the first instance in where I was taken aback by the lack of hospitality from a member of staff. We decided to walk around the farm and then go elsewhere for food as I was angry over the demeanor of the person behind the till. My family made me change my mind and decided to give it another go. In hindsight I wish I had stuck to my guns and gone elsewhere. I am sitting waiting for my food whilst writing this review, to be honest the food could be the best I've ever tasted and I would still review this place the same. During the whole transaction for our order (which I stayed away from on purpose as to not show my disappointment) the exchange between server and customer was sub par. Maybe this is something that other people will accept but i know from my experience that at a base level for any hospitality business to survive they need to look after the customers. Having worked in the hospitality industry for many years the first impression is a important one. I would recommend that a certain level of customer care and customer service training be given to the women served us. I don't live on the island and probably won't come back on holiday here (not solely from this experience) but if I did love here I would most certainly not frequent this establishment again untill I got confirmation that the level of customer service had increased. With all this being said the young Red headed lad was polite when he served half our food and said he hope we enjoyed it. So there may be a glimmer of hope for the standards of customer yto be increased in the future.

Was taken by a friend to this cafe as he highly recommended the wide menu choice and thought it would be good for me to see as an accommodation provider on the Island Not the most friendliest welcoming upon arrival and then the only menu choice was pizza. Started to understand why on a bank holiday the place was empty and those coming in were promptly leaving All in all very disappointing I would prefer a sandwich/lite bite menu than a restrictive pizza menu

A very friendly welcome in this lovely little cafe. A very impressive choice of drinks and a great range of pizzas: they tasted beautifully fresh and it was great to see them being made as we sat with a glass of wine. Some interesting topping combos, too. The farm itself is great for a muddy walk to blow the cobwebs away and having such a high-quality cafe to round off the experience is a real boon. Thank you!

Drove from Yarmouth as there's no pavement on the main road to walk, found easily and there's a brown tourist sign opposite the entrance too. A gravel path takes you to the car park and the entrance to a family-run Alpaca and Llama farm. Pizzas were out of this world and we complimented the chef. It was a lovely sunny evening and sitting outside was great. It is situated on a working llama and alpaca farm. Stopped in for lunch after reading the reviews. Great friendly service, great pizzas which they boxed the leftovers for us to take away (we were already booked somewhere that night for a big meal, so we had to show some restraint!). We would happily stop by again, highly recommended.

Found this little gem through taste of wight magazine. Totally recommend...insist you visit! The pizzas are so delicious, although very rich - had to have the last of mine in a take away box. Enjoyed seeing the chef hand stretch them and using the wood fires pizza oven, which is beautiful! Will definitely be back!

The pizza is amazing. Wonderfully light, fresh and full of flavour. They are massive and are excellent value. We took about half of ours away and had it on the drive home the next day. The setting is really cool. There is a farm where you can feed hilariously enthusiastic goats, not to mention a lot of other animals and birds. This is an experience in itself and well worth the entry fee and a few bags of food. This is a cracking place and one I would really recommend to visit.

Small family run restaurant with a clear passion for pizza! best pizza we've had in a long while, Beautiful smallholding/ farm attached, would probably go a bit earlier so our boys could get the animals out of their system before dinner ;0) will definitely come back!

Me and my partner stumbled upon this place when looking for food while on a camping weekend away. Tucked away off the beaten track, but a great find! Pizzas made in front of us, and all fresh ingredients. Fantastic flavours and the family who run it clearly care about the quality of the food. I asked about the recipe he used, and was given an excellent explanation of Italian pizza dough. Thanks again!

Beautiful, delicious pizzas! Son had margarita special , son and hubby had fajita pizza and I had goats cheese with a fab garlic marmalade. I wish I'd had a smaller pizza so I could fit a pudding in. Would definitely recommend it.

Visited the Llama tree with family for lunch. The pizza was fantastic great base and fresh local produce as toppings. They were happy to do 2 halves with different toppings as we couldn't have eaten a whole one each. Very helpful staff.

Felt we had to leave a review as we were your first ever Wednesday evening guests! Delicious garlic bread, pizzas and pizza pudding with Nutella and berries! Thank you for making a calzone for our son! We can't wait to come back and walk with the Alpacas. Fingers crossed for you it's all back again soon!

Attracted by the name (it's part of an Alpaca & Llama award winning farm), we dropped in one Friday evening after a quick phone call, and were welcomed like members of the family... The owners of the farm and their chef are all fantastically friendly and nothing is too much trouble!

I had a pepperoni spicy pizza. It came with really generous toppings and was extremely tasty. I am used to the bland pizza and absent toppings of Pizza Express so rarely go out for a pizza, but may now have to change my view. Couldn't fault The Llama Tree for pizza - or service for that matter.
