The services was terrible, the staff was rude when they were taking the order. As well as this they left out the chips which left the children crying. It was a delivery order and the driver did not even come to our actual location we had to walk 10 minutes to get the food. The donner meat was hard the chicken was dry the lamb was overcooked. In addition to this the pricing of the food was ridiculously high for the standard of the meal. Overall this Kebab is officially the worst I have ever eaten and I would strongly advise against going to this place.

The service was awful, the staff had zero manners and no sense of customer service. My food was cold and I didn’t receive my chips. Overall a very bad setup/business and strongly recommend everyone to stay far away from kebab house IOW. The delivery driver also couldn’t find my address therefore I had to walk 10 minutes to collect my food. I had young kids waiting longer than needed for their food and then having to eat cold food! Anyone with kids would understand the struggles of ordering a family takeaway and trying to cater for kids!!!

Absolutely terrible service as me and my wife were waiting for at least 90 minutes as she kept on phoning then to the response of I’m nearly their which is untruthful statement. This really disappointed me as the food was over cooked not seasoned and hard . This shows how 1 thing can ruin your honey moon at the isle of white .

The food was horrendous, it was cold and stale which was close to inedible. The lamb was over cooked making the meal last longer than it should’ve due to me having to chew for too long. this resulted in me having to spit it out! For a delivery order, the driver was incompetent and rude which wasn’t helpful in terms of making the whole process smooth sailing. Not to mention the service and his attitude towards me as a customer. He was impolite and ill mannered which was an unpleasant interaction that made me feel uncomfortable in my own skin. Aside from the service the prices were extortionate as a kebab, pizza and chips came to a total price of £44.50. Even after that huge bill our chips (which was the heart of any meal due to some dietary issues in the group). All in all the service was abysmal and i would highly recommend to stay away!

Horrid service made me walk to the reception and lie about the reception not letting him through so I’ve basically payed delivery fee for them to be lazy . As my freind took a bite of the kebab it was overcooked and not seasoned I have also ordered one of their family deals just for them to forgot pizzas this was such a shame just to ruin my brother and his freinds birthday party as everything before was going soothingly I recommend everyone’s sake not to go their as the service was poor and their food absolutely dreadful

A truly beautiful doner, I’ve eaten so many kebabs in my life, but this is got to be one of the best. Truly great

Charged us £40 for 2 pizzas,chips and drink. ,shoulhave definitely be less when we done our calculations later on. (Kids were hungry and hubby didn’t pay attention) Didn’t even get salt on our chips. For sauces,he said £1.50 each. Total rip off.

This is a pre visit review. Next Saturday, the B Man, Sir Crixus, and LB the kebab eating vegan, are going camping. We plan on drinking surprises while camping and then eating quality babs from your establishment. Please prepare for our arrival. The B Man likes his bab huge with extra chilli sauce. Sir Crixus likes his on the small side, and he likes a toy with it. Lb the kebab eating vegan, likes to eat his from the bin once everyone has gone to bed, so don't worry about his bab. We look forward to our visit and seeing all the hard work you have put in paying off. Please see the attached photo. This is the last thing your small bab will see next Saturday.

Thought it was rather expensive for two, Donna and chips, & two sauces, Charge/Cost £24.80 Honestly thought I was buying shares in this place, Must say tho, The person that took my order was polite. See Pic of part of the menu board, The same order back home would have cost £11.

In one word, it's awesome, especially its kebab, you should try it.

Used to be really good but so overpriced and bad quality now, we drive 30 mins to Shanklin instead of having one at home!! £10.90 for kebab is absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely VILE!! I wouldn't mind it being 35 minutes late if it was edible, the Fried 'Chicken' was obviously warmed up from an old batch, zero flavour, and tough as the tasteless Lamb in the cold Kebab, which was also tough. the 'Chips' had also been warmed up from an old batch, cold, soggy and tasteless.

Really didn't enjoy the doner kebab infact I couldn't eat it . The chilli sauce is awful like flavourless ghost sauce just burn . Only lettuce and onions no tomatoes or cucumber . Your not asked they wrap it out of site .

AVOID....! Ordered tray of MEGA meat .... plus other stuff and tipped well over £55 delivered to Node point caravan park...things wrong !! The salad never came, The smallest tray of Mega Meat box I've ever seen!!!! Chinese main meal size!!!! For £20. The Lamb shish kebab was over cooked and dry. The chicken wings were reheated and over cooked, dry. The Lamb doner was a factory made joint, nothing to write home about. Had to buy extra sauce and breads as only 1 comes with the £20 main meal !!! Chips the only thing that were ok. Can't recommend this place at all. Before you write your patronising reply, I did phone you and you weren't interested in fact you put the phone down because you know we're tourist. I don't believe the positive reviews or pictures, as they are not what you sent us. Your a disgrace to Kebab shops.

We normal go to kabab house alot never had problems other then once them being rude on the phone but tonight Awful service, ordered cheese burger, cheese chips and a chicken wrap. Food came ,didn't have cheese on the chips ,no cheese on burger also requested sauce no sauces.. ring them up to complain to have this resolved and they just are rude ,saying they won't do anything about it , disgraceful coustmer service 😤 will not be ordering from there ever again!!!

Staff not very happy or friendly!! Took a while to make order even though there was no other customers or orders. Food was ok but staff need some better customer service. Also they don't take card payments.

Wide range of food from kebabs to pizza. Went for a lamb doner wrap with salad and garlic mayo - that thing is the weight of a small baby - tasted delicious and very filling. Everyone is so lovely in there, I'm never disappointed 👍

Ordered over the phone. Was very abrupt and snappy, I misheard a question so he shouted over me. Ordered food, no questions were asked as to what salad or sauces I wanted I had to ask what they had. Had to ask for a price and how long it would be before he hung up the phone. Was told an hour. Phoned after 1hr 20 mins to be told "I think it's on it's way". Food arrived after nearly 15 minutes more. Delivery driver couldn't care less when we mentioned we had waited so long. Shish kebab and salad was caked in grease. And everything was barely luke warm when opened. But famished, we sat and ate our cold food. Would never order from here again.

Very very rude staff. They really need to work on there customer service. My sister witnessed one of the staff members swearing at a customer down the phone. Absolutely disgusting. Sort it out.

This place is jokes quick to charge you more if your drunk... food is OK but still you think they be loyal to customers but no they try charge you more than what's what's on menu just coz they think you had a drink sometime can take advantage food is OK but make sure you order with someone else as they try steal few quid here or there!!! Dirty service especially as been so loyal! One star is generous!!!!

We ordered 2 chicken burger deals, no way was it chicken that was In The burger. It was more like a pigeon wing was absolutely vile. Thin and no meat to it at all. The Chips were warmed up old chips not fresh chips. That will be the last time I order a kebab in ryde. How your still even open when you serve food to that standard is beyond me. Your shop needs reporting, And shutting down its DISGUSTING

I ordered the number 1 combo box which includes, two wings and two pieces of chicken. I didn’t get any boneless chicken it was all winged which was very disappointing. The southern fried batter was soggy and and chips were cold upon receiving. Completely put me off.

Cold and gross. Will not be ordering from here again. Very disappointed for the price. We had garlic bread with cheese, it just tastes of grease probably the worst I've ever eaten!! Chicken nuggets and chips, both were cold, chips were brown 🤢 Kebab was cold and fatty.

Absolutely disgusting people rude, and they took 3 drinks of my disabled son upon delivery as he was 50p short because they do no state a delivery charge, vile humans and the food isn't all that I'd recommend charcol grill anyday

Ordered a lamb shish after being told this was the place to go in Ryde it was awful wasn't charcoal grilled or very poorly if indeed also ordered a onion bhaji which looked nice on the out side I cut into this and it was all powered inside broke up like bread crumbs all this came a cost off 16.80 the only think that was right was the bottle of 7 up emailed them surprise no reply this was ordered on 13/3/21 however this is just my opinion but it's the worst one I have had on the island in six years

Very Unconfident sweaty staff,any question asked to them politely will trigger them to respond aggressively, I understand this could be an issue with the English, when you stand up for yourself they are quick to advice that you can go else where,inotherwards they don't need you as a customer,on addition to that they demand you should be thanking them as they are feeding you,well as them lots are the ones in the hospital giving us headache as they can't follow simple advice like Stay Home,Help the NHS

Ordered my food with an hour delivery waiting time, phoned over 25 mins late for delivery time to be told that they hadnt done it as they were busy, definitely wont be using again

I have aeten here it was really nice and yummy . Everything looks fabulous and fresh . Ill definitely go back there .

I ordered for lamb kebab rolls and got diner kebabs. Called the restaurant back to explain but instead got shouted at by a very hot headed man that one should be terrified of doing bussiness with. I just read on island echo that recently this bussiness has been violent to customers and have needed to put up CCTVs.

I visited this kebab shop for a nice evening in with my boyfriend. I ordered our food and specifically asked for No Cheese on our burgers as I am highly allergic and he does not enjoy cheese. I waited almost 45 minutes for our overpriced food. To then get home and find out cheese has magically entered our burgers. My boyfriend then took the burgers back to the shop as we are local and then calmly explained the issue. To then be told that I had ordered wrong and asked for cheese, despite my allergy and his dislike, maybe I suddenly decided to order cheese just to test out how quickly an ambulance could get to us? We were unimpressed with the standards of or the lack of customer service. We didn’t get offered any replacement food nor a refund of £9.60 just a rude response and yet again being told it’s our fault. Having worked in many customer service jobs myself, I find it hard to believe we were treated with such disgusting Behaviour. Do not visit.

Kebabs are nice. It is the manner in which they take your order could feel a little less... Confrontational ... By answering the phone and speaking very fast and somewhat abruptly as if you are taking instruction for a special ops mission for the military, and then having to guess when the food is due to arrive, (it appears one must ask for this information-a 'need to know' basis). Once told you feel absolutely engaged, valued as a customer and ready to part with your money, after all you've felt like you've been a terrible burden and the food provided has been a favour. In summary, please work on customer engagement, it costs nothing to apply manners. Overall price is quite high in comparison to mainland shops, but that is just the way it is on the Island sadly.

You're kept waiting while he puts the smallest pitta bread I've ever seen on the grill to slightly warm and then piles the barely warm meat on top. A tiny bit of salad. This was a small doner - this and a small cheeseburger = £9:00.

Worst kebab I’ve ever eaten. Chicken tasted on the cusp of being off. Marinade on chicken was so strong of chip shop curry sauce it was inedible. Salad losing colour. Bread dry and cracking. Disgusting. Worst food I’ve ever had anywhere ever.

Good food but got order wrong on one item

Great place, quick service and value for money. Very well marinated and perfectly grilled. Portions and reasonably sized and value for money. Great people are they are really friendly. Much better than the head heavy Indian restaurants around.

They have a new meat supplier and it tastes awesome, best in Ryde so far.

Great place for a quick takeaway home of the square pizzas fast delivery normally tell you about half an hour and turn up in about 10 minutes so bear that in mind if you want to get things done before the takeaway turns up because you probably wont to put the kids to bed so they don't eat half of it and then you got to share with them

4 of us ate here on Saturday night, the order was taken quickly but mine too ages and I mean ages about 20 minutes!! The bread was heated the salad fresh but the chicken was cooked but tough!! the following day my tummy was a bit dodgy, only a bit but we didn't go back during our stay in IOW.

I live locally used them all the time, however over the last year the place has gone downhill fast! Food not like it once was and the staff are really rude especially when ordering on the phone.. Take a 5 minute walk down union st and you will get service with a smile at Charcoal Kebab. The food is decent there too.

Absolutely Delicious! The mystery meat I ordered was extremely greasy and chunky, which is my favourite. I was disappointed with the pet rat as it bit me. I now have a terminal illness but I'd gladly eat there again.
