The Little Yellow Door in Kensington and Chelsea

Pretentious, rude staff on the door. Insisted on ID for a group of 4 (very obviously!) over 40’s! Clearly only 30’s (who may feel the need to carry ID ?!) are welcome here. Very sad state of affairs

We had a lovely dinner out for a birthday celebration and wanted some after dinner drinks. We were met with pretentious hostility from the staff. I went to get a round of drinks. I asked for a few cocktails and the blond at the bar rolled her eyes having to make some whiskey sours. I apologised joking saying it was annoying. She then gave us the wrong beer. I said, nicely I wouldn’t pay for it and she said I had said it rudely. She was super aggressive and said she would speak to security. I was so shocked that it escalated so quickly and have never ever had that before. It really tarnished a lovely evening and found the whole place a disappointment.

Didn't have a reservation place was pretty empty popped in for a drink. Drinks were expensive 26 quid for two drinks, Wasn't allowed to sit upstairs despite there being room, sat in basement then moved upstairs to finish drink b4 joining the street party, wasn't permitted to stand looking out the window. Too many silly rules enforced by officious staff intent only on upsetting customers. Bit of a dump as far as interior goes. Wouldn't dane to return. Jumped up staff

Had the avocado and salmon on toast it was yummy dressed with cress and chilli jam the decor is unusual in a very good way and the staff were lovely welcoming and friendly

Visited the Little Yellow Door for drinks with friends. The interior is lovely and cosy, small but full of quirky decorations and comfy sofas. We felt really looked after by Lucienne, she was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and really made the experience 10/10. Would definitely come back!

A really difficult to deal with venue - constantly changing the rules and trying to make life difficult for their customers. Would highly recommend trying to find somewhere else!

I beat the f out of their manager, don’t go there no one can protect you . The bouncers are very weak

Our waitress was Chanelle, she was 10/10 very attentive and friendly! The music was good, as always the vibe is nice and chilled and drinks came very swiftly - can't complain

This is a fun spot for a casual night out. The food is delicious and the cocktails are even better! The serving staff are all very kind, attentive and seem like a big family. Maja served us, she was wonderful and gave some great recommendations. I would highly suggest this place if you’re looking for food/drinks in notting hill!

My friends and I had such a fun night at this bar!! The venue was beautiful, the staff was so friendly (especially our waitress Maya), and the vibes were all around amazing. Will definitely be returning and would recommend for anyone visiting the area!

I went to this place with friends after work to celebrate the birthday of one of my colleagues. My first impression was the customer service was stunning from the entrance. Secondly, very prompt in making happy any request even though the place was busy, as it was a Saturday night, I could tell (working in hospitality) I could see the professionalism of all the staff, especially the bartender Ridwaan Coulthurst that has delivered the best drinks ever and mainly a wonderful welcoming, making happy all our group (''demanding one'' :) ). And I would definitely back again and again to The Little Yellow Door to have a great and wonderful time.

Me and my friend had a really lovely time catching up with a bottomless brunch at the little yellow door. The interior of the place was so gorgeous and welcoming with plenty to look at and admire. The staff were very friendly and took great care of us. The food and drinks were also pretty good, we left feeling fulfilled and merry. The food was good quality and very nice considering it was a bottomless brunch deal. I recommend the chicken burger. All in all a very positive experience and we will definitely be back again too so we can try some more of cocktails! Very reasonably priced for what you get too!

We had an amazing time with Kojo the bouncer and Reece the bartender. They were both so lovely and great at making us feel safe and happy and kept us having a fab time. Defo come here for a good time even on a weeknight! Five stars x

I recently celebrated my birthday with a group of 12 at the LYD and had a blast! The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating and made the night a great one. This was one of the best services I've had. The vibe is always great there, the cocktails and the food were as well. We ended the night dancing and drinking to good music in the lower floor, with Nell still making sure we had a good time and we didn't leave anything behind after all those drinks. They and my friends made my birthday a great one and I'm super grateful. So, I highly recommend this place for any occasion. Personally, I'll surely be back

Amazing bottomless brunch for friends birthday and engagement! Nell was an amazing host, very friendly and so welcoming! I’ve done the blue and orange door before, now yellow, only Scarlett to go. Think there should be a loyalty scheme if you complete all doors! Thanks Nell for another great experience!

Great food & drinks but the best service from Nell! The vibe from this bar is amazing but overall the service we received was nothing but 10/10. Nell from start to finish was nothing but top notch. We were also a group of 10 which is not an easy task. She not only provided phenomenal service but made our experience so incredible. Run don’t walk here and always ask for Nell!

Booked this place with a friend for a co-birthday celebration - had an unreal time. The staff were extremely friendly and lovely from the moment we got there, drinks were on point with great music and atmosphere. Massive shoutout to Nel for being the best host (helped me find my wallet, too many tequila shots) and to Diana for serving me those tequila shots! Would highly recommend this spot for any occasion - feels like you're chillin in someones house, then you get downstairs and its a basement party! Loved our time and will def be back.
