Food was very nice albeit not the same as it would taste in Spain(obviously)but very good for this country.punchy in price but the service was immaculate so you don’t mind spending that bit more. All staff were attentive, polite , friendly and switched on. Great place to go to

Consistently excellent food whenever I have visited. The boquerones and squid ink rice in particular are standouts. The morcilla scotch eggs and churros are also very good and worth tasting.

Really good food and good sized portions. Service was good too. Some of the dishes were a little pricey at £16 per portion for tapas.

Brilliant Spanish restaurant. The service was very efficient, friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our food, I particularly liked cabbage and scallops with sweet potato purée. Will certainly be back!

Amazing time at Little Taperia last night. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially reccomend the night’s special of Tuna Steak. Great drinks menu with a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails. Service was immaculate - we even got a free chocolate and shot with our bill for Valentine’s night! Little Taperia is always just what you want and need. It is an assuming place to enjoy extremely well cooked, delicious food in a truly relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. It is no wonder why it is often full of happy faces when you walk past!

Amazing little restaurant, the atmosphere is bustling but not too loud, the service is excellent and above all the food was faultless, every dish we had was delicious but the scallops and ox cheek were the stars of the show for me. Been here a couple of times now and will definitely be back again

This is an absolutely outstanding venue for Tapas. Be sure to book a table in the front part of the restaurant though. If you don't there is a chance you will be seated in a conversion at the back which is does not have nearly the same cosy candlelit atmosphere as the main space.

Walk past this place a lot and it's always packed. Managed to get a table last minute and were really glad we did. Amazing menu of food, and great drinks selection. Found it to be very reasonably priced. Don't usually come away from tapas feeling so full!

Back to the scene of the crime and another outstanding meal at this hidden gem. All previous comments stand. There simply are not enough stars to rate this hidden gem of a restaurant! Relatively small and tucked away in Tooting, it offers a loud and lively venue with plenty of hustle and bustle alongside some great food and an endless supply of sangria. Be warned - you do have to book at least a couple of days in advance but believe me when I say that it's absolutely worth it!

This was quite simply one of the best meals I’ve had in years. I lived in Spain long ago but the tapas cooked up in this little gem of a restaurant eclipsed nearly everything I remember eating back then. The scotch eggs were frankly astoundingly tasty and the scallops were in the kind of sauce you can only dream of eating. The chairs and tables are a bit agricultural but frankly, I would sit on the floor to eat any food that kitchen might deign to prepare for me. Brilliant.

Amazing food. As a chef I can say it's been a pleasure to eat here. Iberico grilled to perfection, grilled pepper to accompany also tender and sweet as should be. Croquets is also an amazing choice. Crispy outside with creamy delicious inside, fried as should be (no oil stains on a plate dripping from food). Patatas bravas were perfectly crispy, sauce was a slight disappointment but all over very good dish. Cheese board worth its price, it's seen that meats are cut freshly, not just presliced, frozen, stocked for a week ahead like some other places do. Here it's done with care and respect towards ingredients. For dessert we had churros, and they were better than from places that apparently specialise in churros including the sauce that was delicate and not overwhelming the flavour of churro itself. Great experience. Will come back and bring other chef friends. <3

The place is enchanting. Food is top quality and all the dishes we tried had a great twist that differences them from the original Spanish recipes - which I completely agree with. It brings you a piece of home to Tooting. Also, loved the posters on the wall! Sevilla, Cádiz, Córdoba... really, really lovely. We'll come back! Recommendations: Croquetas de jamón and pinchos morunos. We wanted to try the morcilla scotch eggs but it couldn't be this time. We'll be back just to try them for sure!

Wonderful selection of food and drink, each dish was lovely, with good portions. It all came out in good time and in waves to allow full enjoyment of each dish, whilst saving space on the table. A welcoming and lively atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff, with particular mention to Joe who was lovely to meet! Will happily visit again.

We had dinner here and it was the best tapas I’ve had outside Spain. The octopus was really tasty. Also recommend the sea bass, prawns add Hispi cabbage. Basically all delicious with excellent cocktails and Albariño wine. Vibrant atmosphere with friendly service. Definitely recommended. Sorry about the photo, but you can see how much we enjoyed the food!

A tapas restaurant with a large selection of authentic Spanish dishes. Very good quality but very easy to order more than you need. For four of us with two glasses of wine the bill came to just under £160.

Love this local spot. Service and vibe are always great. Food is tasty - the bravas are a must have along with croquettes. Lamb cutlets and artichokes are my current seasonal favourite. Have been thrice this summer!

Astonishingly great tapas. We enjoyed tortilla, mortilla stuffed squid, pan con tomate with Iberico ham topping and a delicious chicken dish. Excellent cheese cake. Good wine and patxaran digestif. Fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful meal here, as always. We opted for a few dishes, which all tasted amazing. The scallops were highlight and would love to come back soon. We did have a few drinks for good measure too.

We tried the little taperia for the first time, after moving to the neighborhood. We were very pleasantly surprised at the great food and service. Staff was helpful and friendly. A nice detail was due to my girlfriend not being able to have alcohol and therefore went for a mocktail in the beginning of the dinner. they remember and offered her an alternative to the normal after dinner aperitif.

Came here for lunch and was very happy with the quality of food here. Would love to try and and come for cocktail some other time for sure

I went here a couple months ago to have a catch up with my old friend and we had a fabulous time. Nice cocktails, tasty food and a lovely atmosphere.

Oh wow, what an amazing tapas restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious with so many choices! Our waiter was brilliantly friendly, and made sure we were so well looked after, despite the restaurant being so buzzing and busy. We've lived in Tooting for over 20 years and I can't believe we've not been here before, but we will definitely regularly be back!

Having read the reviews and been past many times I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately I didn't. It started well with two nice cocktails (Red 75 and White Negroni) but the food that followed - aside from the excellent olive oil with the bread and chimichurri with the lamb - was distinctly average. Service was OK - we had to wait here and there, there were problems with getting our order and the bill was wrong, but they got sorted out quickly. Overall not impressed. They seem to be very busy though, so if you do want to give them a go I'd recommend booking in advance.

Nice restaurant. Small and intimate. Only downfall is there isn't a large capacity so we had to eat at the bar rather than a seated table. But still a nice experience and lovely food

Food was prepared superbly and the chefs were obviously excellent (as was the service). For the money paid the quality of ingredients good have been better though, especially some of the meat dishes. However, I realise that the price of everything is still very high, and this may just be my perception of what something should cost as opposed to what it actually does cost now. Despite this I wouldn't to return.

Really great food. Service very good, very prompt, although they screwed up our booking initially with not enough seats. But they fixed it quickly. It's. A very small place, lovely busy ambience, but very hot. Me and my two friends were all sweltering. Apart from that, a fabulous evening.

I decided to find a different restaurant to eat tonight , rather than the usual tapas restaurant that we go to. I’m so glad we did, what amazing food! The dishes we ordered were all so tasty, fresh and well presented. I could not fault a single dish. I travel to Spain often and I can say this is one of the best Spanish meals I’ve had out of Spain. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again very soon

What a restaurant! My girlfriend booked it for my birthday back in October - the food, wine, atmosphere and service was all impeccable. They even brought out birthday candle in a churro (featuring a birthday hat) for dessert, with staff singing happy birthday 😂 shoutout to the Peruvian waiter (I’m really sorry we didn’t remember your name) - you’re a credit to the restaurant and we hope our tip reflected this. Truly an evening to remember for a very long time.

We tried the octopus, braised cheek, pan con tomato, beetroot salad, anchovies, cheese and meat selection and garlic prawns - all so good! Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert but will definitely make sure we try this next time. Thank you!

Totally amazing. 9 outstanding dishes all packed with delicious flavours. Went on a Friday night and the restaurant was full and had a great atmosphere. Despite how busy it was the service was superb and the dishes arrived super quickly.

It's great to see the diversity of cuisine expand in Tooting and I was very happy to see Spain represented when the Little Taperia came to town. The cozy yet mildly frenetic atmosphere coupled with low level lighting creates the feeling that you're in some little joint in backstreet Barcelona. Their Albondigas is wonderful, wash it down with an Estrella Galicia - qué rico!

This amazing little Gem of a place simply was the best experience and served us absolutely amazing dishes . Every single dish we ordered was outstanding from the prawns,octopus black rice and scallops to tomato bread and fried potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection!!! Not to mention the atmosphere is really great and the service is warm and friendly staff. This restaurant is without doubt one of the best tapas places we have ever been to and we will definitely be back. The chef too was great as we saw him and his team cook our meals as the view was great from our table.

Booked in for myself and 6 friends to have dinner here for my birthday and it was honestly the best experience, from the great food (quality and amount!) to the most amazing service I’ve ever had! Can’t thank Alberto and his team enough for making it such a lovely evening 😊
