The Tapas Room - Tooting in Wandsworth

La comida era increíble. Mi esposa es una cocinera profesional y estaba muy impresionada. Hay un chef y una señora de la casa, ambos son familiares y acogedores y muy buenos para hacernos sentir parte de la noche. El vino también era fantástico. Máximas notas y una recomendación del 110 %.

Un gran grupo de mis amigos y yo fuimos a The Tapas Rooms en Tooting Market anoche para una reunión y tuvimos una excelente noche. Una gran elección de vinos y comida verdaderamente deliciosa! Teníamos un par de platos para compartir para la mesa que estaban deliciosos, luego tuve croquetas de queso azul, el pudín negro y chalotas encurtidas, y las albóndigas de ternera en salsa de tomate. La comida era deliciosa, así como el vino, y una noche realmente maravillosa. Además, un agradecimiento especial a todo el equipo que nos cuidó. Éramos un grupo bastante grande y nos sentimos muy bien atendidos!

A nice selection of wines and great tapas freshly prepared before your eyes. You don‘t need to go to Central London for dinner.

Visited the Tapas Room with some scoundrels this evening on a recommendation. Tucked away in Broadway Market, this little slice of Spain didn’t disappoint. Had one of every plate amongst three of us and it all hit the spot. Personal favourites included the Pork Cheek and Cod Croquettes. All washed down with a glass of Tempranillo. The chap who served us had a dry sense of humour which suited the month. All things considered, I’d recommend.

I love the tapas room!! All the food is delicious...shout out to the chorizo in red wine and the pancetta in particular! It is so refreshing to have a charcuterie and cheese board containing real, tasty authentic ingredients rather than some mass produced slices of salami from a packet as many places serve. Furthermore, the service is always great and the lovely waitress is really helpful when choosing what to have. I come back time and time again

Entré al mercado hoy para almorzar y me recibió en la Sala de Tapas un caballero muy informado, que me permitió probar algunos de sus finos vermuts antes de comprar una bonita caja de 3 L de el banderra. También compré algunas tapas para llevar, que fueron absolutamente fenomenales y tan ricas como cualquier plato de tapas que haya probado en España y Catalunya. Muy recomendable y definitivamente volveré.

Called in on Saturday 28th. Staff friendly and helpful, food is good and super value. The wines on offer are fantastic and comprehensive. Not just the usual Rioja of the generic variety. Any bar that has 3 types of vermouth has to be great.

We love our local markets, Tooting and Broadway, which have become full of buzz and colourful food stalls, in less than 2 years! Wherever we choose to end the evening ( or have lunch) we start at Tapas, where super knowledgeable and warm Adrian will help you to try a Catalan wine you haven't known before... He will give plenty of info, along with jamón ibérico, or pimientos de padrón. Fantastic start before a stroll into the two adjacent markets, and a meal or more drinks in those vibrant new hubs of the good life in South West London! Soon you will become regulars, like us...

Back to the market for the 2nd time in 8 days, this time we tried the Tapas Room, I had herd mixed feedback so thought we should try for ourselves. Friendly staff, helped move guests (in a very nice way) so the 3 of us could sit down together. They got a little stressed as It got very busy for a Wednesday night & only the two of them working. Fabulous wine and Sherry list that I need to bare in mind the next time I go and take a cab. All the tapas was lovely and served at a good pace, no push to over sell and prices are fine for the quality of the product. A small hiccup on the cheese but when it arrived it was again excellent. I also enjoyed the sherry I took home as I was driving. This is up there with the best in the market and a must try. Well done to the 2 very hard working ladies last night, we will be back.

Wonderfull care and attention given to each dish. Delicious and friendly. I would definitely come again.

As I didn't want to let a friend down, I ate here despite a terrible hangover. As well as the food being excellently prepared and tasting great, within two small plates, I was completely cured! Also, sympathy along with the service was very welcome too. Now I've tried some of the dishes over lunch, I will definitely return to try a wider range for dinner.

Had a great lunch here, one of the many places to eat in Tooting Market but definitely one to look out for. You can sit and eat at a bar whilst watching the world go by. The quality of the food was great, nice wine and good value for money; I'll be back.

Great service and lovely staff - with a fun vibe (like all the market places). The menu is varied and ok - though missing some of the tapas classics that might be good to have. Only comment - they seem to have an obsession with olive oil - it’s on the bread with the pâté / over the cheese. Whilst lovely oil - with the pâté which is rich it was like eating it on fried bread which was too much. Worth a go - but not cheap nor memorable I’m afraid.

Have been here a few times now for tapas and wine, along with the wine tasting. The tapas aren’t anything special tbh but a selection of peppers, bread, cheese and olives is perfect for us as a mid week accompaniment to wine. And it’s the wine they do very very well, he knows his wine, and I feel like he has taught me everything I know about wine now too, I’ve tried vermouth and I’m even drinking red wine now too!! But it’s a particular white wine I head there for tbh it’s just glorious! And they sell wine to go :)

Nice little gem- good fish croquettes, scallops and pork belly. Wine was really nice but pricey- it is 10-15 quid cheaper when you buy a bottle to take away..

Great little find. Bench seating making lovely chance to chat to strangers. Good quality food wine and service. One diner next to me said “if he was in death row he would order from here” bit odd but I get it...

Decided to visit Tooting market but have each course in a different venue. The Tapas bar was starters and it did not disappoint. Sat at the bar and watched everybody’s meals being prepared and there was a lot of food envy going on. Will have to go back and sample more of the menu another time.

Great food, great wine and great atmosphere! Love it here, the staff are so knowledgeable, there is a huge selection of wine and the food really surprised us. Can't recommend enough!

The food here is great, the wine is good value and the staff were excellent. Definitely worth a visit (and a wait if necessary) if in the area for dinner.
