The Little Orange Cafe in Exeter

Visitamos este lugar varias veces y la comida siempre fue fantástica, ya que probamos diferentes cosas, principalmente desayuno o brunch. Comida de alta calidad y el servicio fue excelente y muy acogedor.

Paré aquí para escapar del terrible clima lluvioso y almorzar. Necesitamos desesperadamente algo para beber y comer y nos detuvimos en Exeter en nuestro camino desde Portsmouth hasta Newton Abbott. Nos recibieron amablemente y nos mostraron una mesa. La camarera también nos informó sobre el proceso de pedido siguiendo las guías de Covid. Ordenamos nuestras bebidas y comida fácilmente y llegó en un buen momento. La máquina de café se estaba agotando y nos informaron que habría un ligero retraso. Nos dieron vasos de agua mientras esperábamos, lo cual fue muy apreciado. Nuestra comida llegó seperstly y teniendo en cuenta que pagué 6 por un tostado, habría esperado un poco más de dos rebanadas de pan fino con jamón encima colocadas en un plato lateral. Mi tortilla también estaba muy líquida y un poco mal cocida. El tamaño era perfecto y la ensalada al lado era preciosa. Nuestros cafés eran extremadamente agradables, aunque la marea estaba claramente baja ya que recibimos media taza y tuvimos que pedir una recarga. No volvería, pero eso es porque vivimos tan lejos y solo bajamos una vez al año. Sin embargo, lo recomendaría ya que este lugar parece ser prometedor. La decoración era muy luminosa y alegre, pero le vendría bien una limpieza ya que nuestros asientos estaban pegajosos y el suelo era un desastre.

Realmente impresionado con este café. La comida es excelente, los precios son razonables y el personal es amable. Un gran hallazgo. Volveré : )

Llamado al pequeño café naranja para desayunar después de comer una comida tan basura en Wetherspoons. El servicio fue excelente. Cuando llegó la comida, estaba bien presentada y todo estaba recién preparado y a un precio razonable. Te recomiendo encarecidamente que visites si estás en la zona. No te decepcionará. Gracias

Fuimos a desayunar, una dama realmente encantadora que trabajaba sola por la mañana, pero todavía muy alegre. El desayuno era encantador, también con mucha variedad en el menú. Volvimos más tarde para tomar el té y el café y aún así el personal muy alegre. Echa de menos las cadenas y quédate en lugares independientes.

No puedes llamarte así y tener un zumo de naranja horrible y un café malo. Casi no hay opciones dulces para desayunar

I ordered from here via deliveroo. The food was full of flavour and hot when it arrived. We had 2 full breakfasts & an omlette. Also had a milkshake&ice cream which were both very nice. The price for the food was really good! Just one comment, I’d like the beans on the breakfast to be packed away from the rest for transport as they had covered everything when they had arrived. No big deal for some, but it was just a small thing that I would change. It would not stop me from ordering again though and I plan to again soon.

Visited for the first time for breakfast with friends last Saturday after going for breakfast at a nearby place for a number of years with the same friends before afternoon football. We will all certainly be going back. This is a proper cafe. Nothing fancy or ostentatious, just nice, with great food, excellent competitive prices and warm friendly service. A wide and very varied menu too. I don't think the Cafe has been in business for that long a time but, on this experience, they will (and should) do very well and be very successful. It's well worth supporting a small business like this as opposed to expensive national chains or cafes/restaurants that are all show and no substance. Loved it!

This is a little gem! The food is well priced with lovely sized portions and the staff are always friendly and accommodating! The only thing I will say is that some of the tables are very close together.

Went out on Saturday morning for breakfast with 3 other people and decided to give this cafe a go as never been before. Great food and price was very good as well. Very bright and clean premises even got an area to keep going children amused. Definitely go back as loved there breakfast which was very good value.

Had read a few good reviews for the Little Orange Cafe so decided to give it a try for breakfast. We weren't disappointed and ended up going the following morning too. The full English was lovely, plenty of it and nice and hot with an excellent cup of tea. Second visit I had the home-made American pancakes which were delicious, lovely and fluffy, but enormous! My husband finished off what I couldn't manage.

I have now eaten here a number of times and can safely say it’s my favourite cafe in the city. It has become the standard lunch venue for the 3 or 4 of us when working in town and often provides the breakfast rolls as well. It is rare to find a cafe with a traditional menu in the city centre these day but Exeter is lucky to have 3/4. This has become the number 1 choice against stiff opposition.

Went in here with the dog and received a very warm welcome. Bit 'spit and sawdust' but great value café with a decent menu and good range of breakfasts, at very very reasonable prices. We had the all day and the vegetarian, both were cooked to order and were amazing value for money. Gave this place five stars because of the standard of customer service, nothing was too much trouble, loads of humour from everyone involved, and it was genuinely a great friendly place to have a late breakfast.

We came here for breakfast on Saturday morning, I was very pleasantly surprised with the food and the prices are excellent. Such value for money! The cafe is very clean and the staff are more than welcoming. The breakfasts were huge and they came with chips ( I don’t know anywhere that does chips with breakfast anymore). There is also a little area for kids which has toys for them to play with. We will definitely be coming here again!

The quest for the perfect veggie burger continues. This one is odd. Tastes of curry kind of, and was bright green when I cut into it, then kind of oxides brown as it cools down! Loads of chips with it and very cheap (about £6 with a drink!) They could do with putting some dressing on the salad in the burger, but it's ok. My 14 y/o daughter likes the place. That's a good sign, as she is normally a maccy d kid (!)

Stopped for coffee on Saturday morning. About 9.30 and not very busy. Lady behind the counter was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Afterwards we had a chat with her by the door and hear they have plans to move up the road soon. The people on the next table had fantastic breakfasts, huge and looked really tasty - wish I wasn't on a diet! Coffee and drinks all good at very reasonable prices.

Have been for a breakfast twice now. Both times we have found the service excellent cleaniness brilliant and food worthy of eating.. will be sure of visiting again.
