Quirky little place in a quirky little village, my son and I were camping nearby and needed a cooked breakfast so we gave them a go, the breakfast was good, my son was allowed to change some options on his which a lot of places won't do. My only criticism is that it could do with a good clean especially the floors.

Came in for breakfast on a Sunday just after it opened at 10am. Food was freshly prepared and well cooked, the only thing is the whole place has a strong smell from the fryer, which is a shame as the staff are friendly and the food is good. Good value at £9 for the small veggie breakfast and a cup of tea.

Veggie breakfast and coffee for under £10. Friendly staff and treats given to my dog! So, great value and service. Check open times on the door, as they are not accurate online.

We visited this place because of the reviews on Tripadvisor. How very, very disappointed we were. The first thing that hits you is the smell of fried food - we went into the upper area hoping it would be better but it was not. My husband ordered two coffees and we sat down. That's when we noticed how very dirty the whole place is - it just needs a very good clean, Floors were sticky and black, the sugar bowl had brown lumps in it, all surfaces look grubby. The young man who brought us our coffee was very nice, the coffee was OK but we decided not to have lunch. Our jackets still smelt of fried food the following day.

Having been to the few pubs in Pewsey trying to find something we would like for lunch (fish and chips would have been good, but was only served in the evening), we found The Little Lunchbox. What a brilliant find. It's tastefully decorated and the staff were very friendly. My wife had fish and chips and I had the Large All-day Breakfast. I'm glad I didn't order the Extra Large Breakfast, which would have been far too big for me! An excellent meal at a very reasonable price (much cheaper than a pub lunch). Highly recommended.

I went for a meal with my wife and daughter. Really welcoming and a lovely aesthetic going. On top of that the food was lovely and the price is very affordable. We are going to become semi-regulars!

Hmmmmm.... 2nd visit.. 1st visit only us and 1 other couple in there. Long wait for 2 breakfasts. Breakfast was ok. Today.. 2 breakfast.. 1 large 1 regular.. And 1 breakfast bap with bacon ans mushrooms. Large breakfast ... sausages 2 .. however 1 had 1/3 missing 🙄.. Regular breakfast.. 🤔... Breakfast bap priced at £4.95 .... shockingly overpriced for what was served. 1 small roll with bit of bacon and teaspoon of mushrooms! Cant believe the price and the audacity to serve it ! Clean and tidy.. however did notice canister of bleach on cafe floor last visit ... Waitresses friendly. Both visits.. only waitress has greeted us despite other staff being clearly visible. Try it. Just dont pay £5 for the small roll advertised as a bap.

We went in for lunch as the venue and menu looked pretty good from the outside. As we went in there was a small queue the lady looked stressed and the communication to customers was poor even though it wasn't very busy. We sat down, we ordered. My wife's food was good but my order came out incorrectly so I had to get it changed. It came out again looking worse than before. Not sure how someone who does cooking for a job looses that much enthusiasm. No more communication from waitress so no offer of condiments or to check if food was OK. So I guess I had what was advertised 'vegetarian burger & chips' and it was a bun, a burger and chips.

My wife and I called in here for a coffee before going for a walk on Martinsell Hill. The menu outside was grubby and difficult to read, but we went in and ordered two cappuccinos. When they arrived they were lukewarm, and the only sugar available was in a glass container with a hole in the lid. This container was not very clean, and the salt and pepper pots on the table also needed a good clean. Service friendly, but wouldn't feel comfortable going again for the reasons outlined.

With roads closed or completely impassable due to the severe rain from Storm Bert, we finally gave up trying to get home late on Sunday evening and parked up in the car park of the Bolingbroke. Too worried to go any further, we nervously knocked on the door, despite the pub being officially closed, and to our relief was invited in and offered a room for the night. Jo and Rob looked after us all evening, the room was clean and perfect for the emergency overnight stay and even made us breakfast before we set off in the morning. I can thank you both enough for your hospitality and kindness in what was, quite literally, an incredibly stressful occasion. Would recommend to anyone and even planning a return trip, under better conditions, to come back and say thank you once again. Wonderful. Ray and Marion

The website states it’s open until 4pm, it doesn’t say the kitchen closed at 2:30pm. We were happy to have cold quiches but the waitress made us feel so unwelcome even though we spent £46. She then cleaned the table implying we should leave, so we did and we won’t be coming back!

We booked a table for the opening party, the pub opened earlier in the week with new staff and owners.

We visited on a Sunday for breakfast. Arriving a couple of minutes after 10am (opening time), we queued for a table and then again to order food. There were plenty of tables but appreciated it was busy - not all tables were full. We waited for 50 minutes for our food to arrive, although coffee arrived much earlier. This was prompted by us asking where our food was/checking the order had been made, to which we were told ‘we’d just have to wait because it was busy’. The food arrived 5 minutes later. The food was tasty and we’ve no complaints about the quality or price. But, something about the system here just doesn’t make sense, queuing at every point and then waiting another 50 minutes for scrambled eggs on toast and a bacon sandwich, doesn’t make sense. We arrived at 10 and didn’t leave until 12:15…. People had started arriving for lunch! Sadly, we’d not return. There are just other places nearby that are doing it better.

We visited with family from France with dog who were looking forward to visiting for coffee and a light snack for lunch,we arrived on a dry bright Sunday lunch, although relatively busy, there were several tables empty, albeit full of dirty leftovers, when we pointed this out to the lovely girl behind d counter she promptly cleared table and wiped, from this point expectations fell away quickly, there was absolutely nothing to eat except carrot cake or muffins fresh or pre packed biscuits and flapjack ! We mentioned this to the counter staff who just said sorry were short staffed and low on food, there were 8 members of staff behind the counter ! Oh well, we ordered coffee which hit the spot first round fine, second round incorrect, then members of our party wished to visit the loo before leaving, a queue of several people waiting constantly to use 1 toilet that was disgustingly dirty from top to bottom ! All in all a poor experience of what some 18 months ago was a lovely place to visit, maybe it was just an Off day, but to have that many staff not doing a lot or cared a lot, not sure I would be in a hurry to revisit
