For those who know me i like a cup of tea and cake. this venue did not disappoint. i will be trying a full lunch next time i go. Thanks!

This cafe is such a gem, they do great food for vegans as well as veggie and meat dishes. I love the breakfasts and the salads are very creative, fresh and tasty with different dishes every day. The staff are very friendly and kind. The menu choices really are spot on with a great variety of fresh ingredients. Very talented chef! Thanks for providing such a great experience every time !

I had liked this place on Facebook and for months I had been seeing their posts coming through of amazing food. The only problem was that I lived miles away from it. Today I had a reason to be local to it, so it would have been rude not too! I was not let down! Pictures are of Breakfast Tacos and Notorious P.I.G. Both amazing. Make the effort to go here.

This place has changed hands so many times. Chris the current manager is awesome. I love the place so much I visit two a week. But be warned it's best to book a table for lunch as it's a smally busy place. I go with my friend a vegie and we have been going for over two years. There is an awesome range of meat products from the great butcher next store and a wide range of well though out veggie and vegan food. Child friendly and dog friendly with an open friendly staff team. All topped off by great baking, cooking and preparation. With Awesome coffee. A must visit

I've come in to this place a few times to get a bite to eat and the food has been OK nothing outstanding but I have begun to really question who they hire as I have been out in town for a drink a few times now and most times I've seen a female member of their staff that has been clearly on drugs. I'm really sorry but I don't feel comfortable having staff members like that preparing my food especially when I wouldn't have thought twice about bringing my daughter in there.

Absolutely fantastic tapas and brilliant service. I enquired about the Saturday evening tapas, on a Saturday lunch time and they went out of their way to accommodate us for that very evening. The food was delicious and faultless. What this place are churning out in the space they have, is nothing short of outstanding! An absolute gem of a place, really friendly service from our waitress, who was happy to accommodate my request to swap one dip for another (the baba ganoush was to DIE for.) Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Have been here for lunch a few times now and absolutely love it. There is a great selection for vegans and the vegan breakfast is amazing. It's hard to finish it! The vegan cake selection is also really good. Really friendly staff and work by local artists for sale on the walls. You might even meet Bonzo the dog!

After reading all the great reviews we just had to book the afternoon tea today and the little gem certainly lives up to all the hype. A lovely treat and such a different selection of sandwiches, quiche and without a doubt, the most delicious sausage rolls I have ever eaten. (Actually wanted to but some to take home, but after a busy day, they had sold out. - How dare they!!) Huge slice of delicious carrot and pistachio cake and large scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream -- 2 large pots of tea . just couldn't fault it. We brought the new tapas menu home with us ( as well as half the above offerings - too much to eat in one go) and will certainly be booking that in the future. Lovely friendly owner and relaxed atmosphere. You really must try it -- opposite the old bread factory on Hucknall road so you cannot miss it.

Called in for a coffee on our way home. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. Coffee and cake were lovely and we noticed that they did a take away Sunday roast! As we were not hungry enough to eat them we ordered a Pork and Beef roast to take out. They were both lovely, hearty meals, will definitely be going back.

Popped in due to the reviews. Friendly staff. Ok service. Nice ambiance to the place. Good available choices on the menu. Flavours were excellent to the food. Good quality balsamic used. Nice potatoes on the side. The salmon & soft cheese open sandwich selection was lovely but could have done with a bit more soft cheese. The salad was a little ‘tired’. I tried a bit of the cheesecake, however seemed to have gotten the burnt corner piece that was quite dry. The other bits on display were certainly ‘less’ over cooked! I would go there again and give it another go, and hopefully be able to give 5 stars.

Have been going for a while. I remember saying on social media about a year ago that their veggie breakfast was the best I’d ever had. So imagine my disappointment when I found they had completely changed it! Now there is a lot of stuff eg falafels, garlic egg, that I wouldn’t consider to be breakfast fare. Gone are the lovely herby potatoes! I don’t want to have a big downer, as the place is still lovely and fantastic value but I think it’s sometimes good to stick with a winner rather than try to make things “more interesting” for the sake of it. Bring back the old veggie breakfast please!

Had lunch here and I’m still thinking about it! Had the chicken open sandwich, with mango chutney and a curry sauce. The flavours all tasted amazing together, took some of the tasty cakes home to sample which I can say are just as lovely! I will definitely be back! Such a great little place

And lovely food. Great home baked bread and ingredients. The bacon sandwich was perhaps a little short on the bacon, but that's only a minor grumble! Even got a complimentary cake for my birthday. Well definitely keep going back!

Upon entering I find myself in awe of the ever expansive menu that seems to add items to itself whilst reading it, or I could be dyslexic. Nonetheless, it was still magical to read. I approached the cashier, a friendly enough person and proceeded with my transaction, however from the atmosphere alone I felt justified in donating my entire bank account. When I'd gotten my sandwhich I felt the rush of love, I knew it was love because scientists say it's identical to cocaine. I was hooked. Upon biting into this sandwhich, I felt magic surging through my veins and my brain began to swirl. It had felt like I was washed of all negativity and fear; my depression had been cured and I'd felt smarter than ever before. My groin exhibited a swelling growth, I'd finally understood what it was to be a man. And dare I say, a real man. My boss called my phone immediately to tell me I'm being promoted to area manager, and my pay had increased by £400k a year. My wife sent a text saying she wants me, the first time we'd been active in months. I heard angels singing, and it was as if God himself had embraced me. I went to the toilet, to urinate whilst basking in the glory of my newly received manhood and I'd noticed my entire body had become muscular and I'd grown to a height of 6ft 2". I felt amazed. #Best_Sandwhich_Shop_Ever Manager isn't good looking though, 4 stars.

Moved to the area this summer found this place by accident so glad I did the veggie breakfast is superb tasty and everything is freshly cooked and healthy tasting the Sunday dinners are out of this world reasonable prices and the staff are lovely and very helpful

I came here with my friend who lives in Notts and had the best sandwich of my life, the breakfasts everyone else had look ridiculously good too! It was super busy and a hot day and the owner/manager? (Great guy serving all the foods anyway) handled it all with ease (seemingly) and it was great, definitely coming in next time I'm in Nottingham :)

Had our third visit today, been twice before over the past year. Have previously had a breakfast and lunch and returned for a lunch today.

a great hidden spot although it is on a main road! lost of vegan options plug points and a great coffee! the banoffee tart is a must try! great bread with the breakfast as well!

Lovely quaint small deli with great service. I had a delicious vegan breakfast with coffee, but other foods such as take away options and pastries also. Would definitely recommend.

Delighted to see that this deli has won the local award for the area which was given to them on Wednesday. Not surprised at all! Seems to be that people are just beginning to discover it. I love it here. Easy atmosphere, delicious food.

Have visited several times for breakfast/brunch/lunch and the food is SO good. The food is lovingly made, very fresh and tasty, owners are great and prices very reasonable. So glad this place is on my doorstop.

Había leído buenos informes en el Facebook de Sherwood, así que decidí probarlo y estoy muy contento de haberlo hecho. El ambiente era relajado, informal, que me sentaba bien. Tomamos un par de copas y un sándwich de ciabatta de cerdo sacado, que era muy sabroso, aunque definitivamente se necesitaba una servilleta. El servicio fue bueno, amable y rápido. Cuando pagamos hablamos de algunos de los alimentos para llevar que se veían muy bien e incluían una muy buena selección de artículos vegetarianos y veganos. Otra cosa que noté fue que la clientela era muy variada e incluía familias jóvenes con niños. Solo tenga en cuenta que el espacio es muy limitado y que está cerrado los lunes.

Last weekend my wife was at a baby shower in sherwood. I wanted coffee and a place to plug in my Mac to do some work.

Chris and his team have it right! Coffee sandwiches, salads and wow the Brownies. (I consider myself somewhat of a brownie connoisseur) Try the steak sandwich it’s out of this world. Everything you want from your go to Deli. They give discount if you bring your own Take away cup!

A delicious breakfast of French toast with bacon and maple syrup! My favourite meal which exceeded my expectations. My daughter had scrambled eggs with loads of smoked salmon. Fantastic! The owners even opened early for us. Very friendly and a great price. Wish we lived closer.

I LOVED this place, it is so cosy, the food so yummy and the owners so friendly! We had a such a lovely brunch in there. As it was a Sunday morning, we booked and were glad to have done this. The eggy-bread-bacon-maple syrup combo which was incredible, and the coffee is good. They cater really well for gluten free and do an amazing full English breakfast too.

This little coffee shop/deli reopened around 9 months ago and it's now fantastic. Really friendly staff, use the best produce to make the best sandwiches, cakes and salads in the area at a great price point. The cafe is small but has a nice relaxed feel.

This has fast become one of my go-to places for breakfast. The food is great, with plenty of it. I had the vegetarian breakfast again, although I'm not veggie. Its a good way to eat huge but well! Got to try it! And the dog loves it. There is a great mix of people in here.

If you want high quality food that isn't run of the mill, then The Little Deli is a must ! Bespoke salads using unusual fresh ingredients, sandwiches with a fine array of fillings and the best home made sausage rolls in Nottingham. A little gem of a place, once you find it you will keep going back :0)

Love this place, good quality and variety of food for all tastes. Attracts a wide range of clientele. Wouldn't change anything except the music, which could do with a bit of tweaking away from the heavier end of the spectrum. Would have given stars otherwise.

Had the delight of lunching at the Little Deli yesterday. It was superb!

A lovely breakfast menu here and because I'm coeliac I was delighted to find that gf was no problem.

Make sure you visit this place when ypu are in tgr area or make the effort to go there you wont be disappointed it is truly superb the food on offer and the cakes are just divine

My wife and I had a cuppa here as well as a Sausage Roll which had fennel and Onion Chutney inside and it was absolutely superb, it was full of meat and a delicate hint of fennel and the pastry was great.

We popped in for a quick coffee having visited our favourite butcher close by. We were delighted with how things were being managed under the new regime, and will certainly return. The coffee was delicious, locally sourced and served with a smile very quickly. The range of food available was healthy and very tempting. It was good to see also how successful their pre-ordered meals were proving, freshly prepared, neatly packaged and ready to go to their regulars. Although small, the deli did not seem cramped and the original art work displayed gave a very attractive appearance. We will return when we have room to sample their delicious food.

Wonderful! So glad this café has reopened - and what fantastic food! It was served so swiftly and with a smile! They even cater for my gluten free needs with really tasty options. Thank you, Little Deli! That's a first! There are plenty of cafes in the area - but none that cater for my needs. The gluten free cakes are the best I've ever tasted.

This place has recently reopened. Great food and fast service. Highlights are chill bread and sausage rolls, by fare the best I have tasted. Place is small but not cramped, a great place for breakfast or lunch.

I, along with work colleagues pop into this place loads as it's down the road from work. Their tuna, lime and coriander on poppy bagel is a dream. Coffee is good and staff are lovely, one lady makes beautiful homemade cakes which are superb. Always accommodating

Generally pleasant place to have lunch. Prompt polite service. Have had good takeaway sandwiches from here before. Disappointing 'nicoise' salad today.... No anchovies/capers, no beans, no potatoes... My partner does a much better nicoise at home. Shame as I was treating myself!

I've visited here a few times recently as I live locally. Good selection of sandwiches and nice cakes but it isn't the most welcoming of places. I honestly do not understand why the women who work here are so completely miserable all the time. They barely raise a smile and do not expect any pleasantries!

The prices aren't dear, but for the same price in HandMade just down the road, I'd feel like I was getting more for my buck.. The sandwiches we ate could be comparable to what you'd get in a Tesco meal deal, and the owners could look a lot more cheerful!

Had a breakfast bagel and a coffee which were very nice. Service could have smiled and you have no hope with a buggy. But that's not their fault its an old building.

A nice place to visit for a relaxing brunch or coffee. A bit more personal than the main chains, the staff are generally well organised and reasonably friendly (although at times both could be better) and the food is tasty and well served. I would recommend.

I come here to read and study, usually alone. Love the decor, wonderful home made food and friendly service. All for a good price. Highly recommended!
