Nice atmosphere, good coffee but the poached eggs were bad. Hard eggs and dry toast. Disappointing. But the staff were nice.

Lovely staff, delicious food and very cozy atmosphere! We went there around 12/1pm with my sister to grab brunch and we have an amazing experience. The staff is professional and friendly, and the food is delicious. We’ve had the egg on toast and the pancake with banana and Nutella. The total was for £24 and it also included a latte and a mocha. I definitely recommend the place and we’ll definitely be back.

This is an absolutely fantastic little spot. The food quality is excellent and great value for money. All of the portion sizes were generous, and there's a great mix of traditional English and authentic Turkish dishes (we had club sandwiches + a Turkish lamb main, all delicious and filling). There's also a lovely back garden that's perfect in warmer weather. Took my dad and my wife there, and now it's my dad's favourite place. A genuinely great find; highly recommended.

Had a wonderful 3 course lunch here today. Every course was perfect with freshly cooked really tasty food and generous portions. Service was great and we weren't rushed at all. Thank you Bronte & Co we will definitely be back.

Visited on Saturday 27th January went with my family had mixed grill as did my brother generous portions very well cooked.Service was very good in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Best cup of tea I’ve ever been served in a cafe along with a fantastic vegetarian breakfast. The waiter was incredibly nice and helpful.

Popped for an impromptu lunch with my wife. What a delight! The decor was tastefully done , the service attentive and the food sublime. We will go back to try other items on the menu.

Came in and was seated, ordered vegetarian grill. After 20 minutes the staff member returned and said he'd forgotten what I'd ordered and could I tell him again. I declined and left. Shame as other people's meals looked nice.

We had a late breakfast at Brontë. This place came highly recommended by friends that live locally, and I'm so glad we decided to visit. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly,. The full English breakfast and the carrot cake were delicious.

Breakfast fabulous!! Turkish breakfast for one, Shasuka, steak and onios and club sandwich. We were all very pleased with our selection. Will we go back? Most definitely.

We turned up just before they were closing, and the restaurant was really accommodating, which we're grateful for. I had the lamb stew which was delicious, and my partner had the steak which was perfectly cooked. The service and atmosphere just made our evening perfect. We will definitely be going back, and we would definitely recommend this place.

The venue was very accommodating at short notice. I had the lamb casserole...very tasty. Pleasant welcome and waiting on staff. Four meals, with sides, drinks and desserts for £120...very reasonable.

Lovely atmosphere, very clean and friendly and the food was delicious. There were 6 of us. We started with the sharing platter of fried mushrooms, chicken wings , onion rings, halloumi and dips. Very tasty. Main meals were hot and very tasty. Creamy chicken, burger, steak, and other chicken dishes. The sweets were soooooo good. All different sponges. Chocolate orange cake, Victoria sponge, pistachio sponge, all very light and delicious. We'll worth a visit.

Was ok. Quiet and nice atmosphere. The staff tho think that u will be eating even thst we just wanted a coffee. So they didn't seem to like this. We still spending money at your place even if it is just a coffee so we should be treated as any other customer thank you. Twice you tried to bring us someone else's food to our table also. Do you not know how to manage a place . The staff made u feel like u are a burden cos we just had a coffee each. As was meeting a friend there. You need to sort the staff out here.. they can't be that way. We don't go in places just to have food. We go for a coffee or tea or something.

Requested the chicken salad without bacon, specified No Bacon -yet it was served with bacon?! When asked to correct the error, the salal was returned, however bits of bacon were still found in it, indicating that the chef just picked out the bacon instead of producing a fresh chicken salad. Disgusting and totally disrespectful to patrons. Will never return and ensure others don't lest this error-making cost-saving establishment disappoints! Mean servings, not worth it

Been here a couple of times now, enjoyed it each time so today I bought my daughter and was just as impressed, quiet today so service was really fast, food was excellent and plenty of it, good value for money. Nice relaxed atmosphere and love the decor, it is local to me so will keep coming 👍x

Second visit and loved it. First visit was not long after it had opened and we loved it then - fab little spot for some food in the sunshine with outdoor tables and or even covered tables when the weather isn’t good. We’ve had the sharing Turkish breakfast platter and it’s great - you get to have a little bit of everything and anything goes depending on which dip you want. Highly recommend. Owner was lovely and attentive too when serving us.

Great place, good service and nice food. I dealt with Khalid ( Owner) during the arrangement for my son’s graduation, he is very nice and approachable person. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great menu and atmosphere and the baklava is divine.

Amazing coffee and the brunch is great. I do find the sachets of sauce highly offensive practically, environmentally, aesthetically and a bit of a meal spoiler.

We didn’t expect the place to be so big. And with a nice veranda on the other side☀️ Service is good, portions are quite big and served in a nice way.

This is my favourite place for Turkish breakfast ever. I highly recommend trying it and the service is great too. Give it a try. You won’t regret it!

First time visiting here. Service and atmosphere was good, food diabolical. Ordered the Mediterranean half roast chicken with chips and salad , the chicken was stone cold the chips tasted like they had Been re heated in the microwave. Other members of my party didn’t enjoy their meals either. Such a shame as it’s good location, and staff are very welcoming. I Will definitely not be returning

First time here and wish I'd visited earlier. Breakfast dishes served all day which is ideal for a weekend for me. Had the shakshuka with beef sausage on the side. Poached eggs runny and dish filling without being heavy. Sausage had a nice cooked over coals flavour. Staff were friendly and prices very reasonable. Will be visiting again soon.....

Fantastic place, fantastic food

Really nice place to eat. Came here with my 7 month old and they got him a highchair and even partly closed the sunroof outside so he was sat in the shade I thought that was really thoughtful and kind. The service was great and the food was really nice and fresh

Fantastic breakfast every time.

This has very quickly become my favourite place in Sherwood for a weekend brunch and a place to meet colleagues away from the office. Food and service are great, love the decor too. Sitting in the garden today was particularly lovely.

A delightful visit! Our party of seven sat in the beautiful sunny back room. We felt as though we had been transported to the Mediterranean on holiday. Comfortable seating, attentive service and big portions of delicious homemade food. The teenagers loved the burgers and rustic chips too! An outright winner from top to bottom.What an addition to Sherwood's high street!

A Sunday morning visit to Sherwood for a spot of shopping and we had the best cappuccino ever. Quite seriously, they do amazing coffee here! Try it!

Very tasty food from an ever expanding menu. Friendly service and a nice place to be. Please though, why not provide ice with your soft drinks?! No one likes a luke warm coke. Everything else is tip top.

Nice food if a little over priced . A side order of "rustic" fries which looked very similar to McDonald's fries in a bowl the size of a sugar bowl for £5 ! Not really worth the price 😕 The rest of the food was nice though. Staff very pleasant but service somewhat slow .

Not impressed with the customer service at Bronte & Co. Although we had booked for 3 people we were seated at a small wobbly 2 seater table. When the food was served on a large platter for just two of us and this virtually covered the whole table it was evident that the table was not big enough and a small side table was subsequently brought for some of the food to be put on. Even with that It was a messy and difficult experience as there was still insufficient room on the table. It would have been easy for the staff to realise, that after the food order was placed, the table was too small and they could easily have put two tables together and reseated us prior to the food being served, as it was not busy. All in all it was an uncomfortable experience and prevented us from properly enjoying the meal. This was unfortunate as the food was fine and well presented albeit on the expensive side.

Excellent friendly atmosphere, you feel at ease the moment you are welcomed & showed to your seats. The food is lovely with a wide variety available & gluten free options. The whole era reminded us of our holidays as it was so relaxing & we loved the food offer. Would highly recomend for a relaxed lunch. We have been many times and totally enjoyed each meal that we have selected, but 5 visits or so previously, we tried the Turkish breakfast and that was it for us! We have been 5 times since and thoroughly enjoyed that meal each time - a great selection of just about all and everything that we like - just one word of warning though, even eating it as early as we do 11am - don't expect to want to any more for the rest of the day!! Have to add, great friendly staff as well .

Nice decor and surroundings. Food was good but service a little lacking. The girl was working hard but needed more help to serve tables to improve service and so people can eat together and not let the food go cold when politely waiting for others...

Lovely cafe. We ordered two classic breakfasts and everything was cooked perfectly and presented well. Very attentive staff, comfortable surroundings will definitely come back.

A little oasis. For a first visit we stopped by for a late lunch. The environment was really nice and calm, and was very easy to forget you’re on the bustling sherwood high street. The food itself was really nice. I was a little surprised at how fast it managed to arrive, but all was really tasty. Mains, cakes, drinks were all spot on. The wait staff were all really friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.

Had a vegetarian and meat Turkish breakfast. Pricer than the average place but worth it. The vegetarian sausages weren't great but the rest was beautiful. So fresh and tasty. Definitely worth the price. The atmosphere was lovely, music but not to loud and the staff so helpful and friendly. I never had Turkish tea before, the waitress explained the taste exactly and how to drink it. Already planning to go back next weekend. You need to book

Really delicious!! Visited one Saturday for brunch with friends. First time visit for me but won’t be the last. I had the Shakshuka, which was really lovely! I found the staff to be really pleasant and welcoming and the layout of the restaurant modern and comfortable. I’ll be booking again for this weekend. I hope my second experience is as good as my first!

I have only positive things to say about Bronte & Co !! When I first saw the price of the sirloin steak it was £15.90 and I did have 2nd thoughts HOWEVER I thought " Some places you get what you pay for " and this was exactly that !! Absolutely beautiful sirloin steak it was ever so juicy and tender cooked to perfection ( You can definitely tell it was cooked with passion ) The ridged chips I have never had like that before but it was ever so tasty it really made a difference to just an " ordinary" chip. The mozzarella sticks was cooked perfect not to hard and not to soft they was packed full of cheese very good brand and quality served with a mayo and sweet chilli dip I tried both they was absolutely tasty. Overall experience was amazing the owner or staff member who served me he was such a friendly person serving customers with a smile which gave a positive impact straight away. The food was amazing don't let the price worry you because you will be delighted at the amazing taste you get in every bite. Lovely clean establishment with table service and amazing staff. I will definitely be coming back and I would highly recommend this place.

This cafe is wonderful, great selection of food. Both my friend and myself have dietary requirements (some quite complex) and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that we could have delicious, nourishing food without a flare up. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely restaurant, great service, and nice food. The only reason for the slightly lower score was the rocket had too much vinegar in which really affected my eggs, and I couldn't eat it. Pancakes and bacon are amazing, though.. I'd definitely recommend 👌

Having dropped a relative off at the nearby hospital, I wanted some breakfast. After reading the reviews I chose Bronte & Co & was really pleased that I did. I had a fantastic Turkish breakfast with poached eggs & flatbreads. The coffee was excellent too....

Breakfast: 2 eggs 2 sausages pile of bacon, bowl of beans/mushrooms/tomatoes (the tomatoes had red onions and garlic in it) piece of toast and hash browns...filling! 😋 The best was how it was cooked...as i would have prepared it at home, grilled not swimming in oil or fat. On the hole it was a pricy stop, breakfast & avocado on toast (looked lovely and reported to be delish with a bit of a kick) + a pot of tea & a coffee £28. A nice treat but thems the prices in sherditch. Reserving a table seems a popular move.

Second time eating here and it just keeps getting better. I had the Turkish vegetarian breakfast which is honestly delicious!! Probably the best one I've ever had. My girlfriend had the hummus pomegranate and avocado flatbread which she was also delighted with. We will definitely be coming back. 5 stars all around

Lovely place, really friendly staff, great coffee, nice food in a really lovely atmosphere.

Staff were so friendly and attentive, the service really is fantastic. The decor inside is really modern yet unique and feels very calming and relaxing. The only comment I would make is regarding some of the cake options, (mince pies and scones) looked to be out of a packet which was disappointing. Overall, really good.. we will be back!

We walked in on the off chance of getting a table while passing doing Christmas shopping. it was very busy at the time, but nothing was to much trouble, the service was outstanding, the food was to die for, I had the lamb casserole, piping hot and flavoursome, there is something for everyone on the menu and breakfast is served all day to, I couldn't manage any pudding this time around, but will be back next week with friends for coffee and some of that delish looking baklava I spotted, 5* all round Thank you

Been to Bronte & Co three times now. Always found the food excellent and the service second to none. My 9 year old granddaughter only wanted fries, flatbread and cucumber sticks. This was really nicely presented on a platter. She was very happy with it....

Absolutely exceptional food, service, atmosphere, decor, cleanliness etc. Food was incredible, absolutely divine and service was excellent. Extremely happy with our experience overall. Thanks very much. Easily one of our favourite restaurants ever already. Decor is beautifully rustic with clever integration of rocks, plants and humble lighting. Loved the casual, slow jazz music too. This place is really special and deserves to really prosper for a very long time at least.
