Not been to the pub in years but great to see it has not changed... It was late Sunday afternoon so it was relatively quiet. Would Definitely recommend 😁

We chose the Little B as a central location to hold my mums Celebration of Life after her passing. Staff were all respectful and flexible throughout! The buffet, hot and cold, was exceptional. Half of the party are vegan so weren’t expecting the variety and indeed taste that was offered by this local pub. Thank you all!

Food was dry. Burger claimed smash but wasn't. Fries OK. Drinks ok but expensive for food and drinks for what it is.

I’ve been a few times now and always enjoyed the food. They do a lovely Sunday dinner, and I’ve enjoyed other items off the menu (especially the salt and pepper chicken!). There’s also a great atmosphere for the football, with a great outside area for the hotter days. An all round family venue. I would definitely recommend 💯

me n mrs ordered the spicy share platter! was served the wrong platter, although the food was ok im sure the correct order would have been better lol we didn't have the time to point this out at the pub coz was just a quick lunch, service and staff was spot on.will return to try the spicy platter in future 😋

A great family environment and pet friendly, very inclusive and the updated menu is a treat! Well priced and portions are good. Great for an afternoon catch up with friends and the theme nights they put on are always a laugh.

Paul and his team have been nothing but supportive to our team, to the point where Paul is going to enter a second team into the Sale and Altrincham pool league on Tuesday nights....the food that is put on for the team is always top notch, a great mix of home cooked hot dishes as well as a good selection of fresh sandwiches always goes down well with our team and visiting teams!

Attended the Little B yesterday for a grandparents funeral, had been many many times before, including one time for another funeral, always been a nice place for some good pub food and a drink, however the service yesterday from most of the staff was atrocious, the new landlord is rude, the look of the staff was incredibly unprofessional, wearing tracksuits and baseball caps while servings drinks on the bar. My brother had arranged the wake with the new landlord of the little B and had agreed on certain things, such as price, tea and coffee, food, etc…these were not met and when asked why, we were faced with bad attitude from him and made to pay the full amount as he walked away while we were talking to him. This was incredibly disrespectful as we had spent a large amount of money and on top of that we all bought multiple drinks. I wish I would have taken a picture of the pies that they brought out, they were shocking to say the least, we ate half of one, mind you there were more than 20 of us, and the other one was left untouched as it was horrible. We as a family will not be returning to this establishment, it left us feeling incredibly sad after wanting to celebrate a family members life.

Attended the Little B for my Nana’s wake, we ate here 2 weeks prior and was lovely, once we asked about organising the wake the landlord was helpful and was very keen to discuss the cost of it. We were promised coffee and tea on arrival, but was not provided and when we asked about this the landlord said “ the cups were at the end of the bar and you could’ve asked “, after a funeral this is the last thing you would want to be focused on. The food was midiocre, cold pies, disgusting sandwiches etc. Before we paid, we asked the landlord about the tea and coffee and food quality and he was very passive aggressive and not helpful. Would not reccomend this place at all after an upsetting insensitive encounter after attending a loved one’s funeral.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. Food was fresh and tasty and took home what I couldn't get through. Staff were amazing. Really good soup, sandwich, chicken, mozzarella sticks etc

Not a nice experience! Someone that I can only assume was in charge was swearing at his customers and chatting young lads up, very uncomfortable!

Terrible place, used to be a tranquil middle class place to drink and eat, now full of chavs and yobs, unrecognisable, avoid at all costs!

Used to be a nice middle class pub. Manager now terrible demanding I put my £6.50 pint in a plastic glass whilst I was half way through drinking it. Stinking attitude. I live 50 yards from the pub and I will not return.

Very friendly accommodating staff, let me charge my phone when I left my things in a friend's car. They are dog friendly too. My dog Minnie really enjoyed it also.

Not been to the little B for years and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really nice and the portions are very good. The staff were very pleasant and polite. I called before we went to see if they could do a plain chicken burger or the pasta with no spice and the chef told me that everything is cooked from scratch so you can have what you want. I was so pleased as I have a fussy 12 year old that doesn't like spice. We had 3 of the small plates for starters and then for our mains I had the Penne Arrabiata and it was delicious, my partner had the spaghetti carbonara and he loved it ( he's very particular about his carbonara too ) and our daughter had a plain chicken burger with chips which she really enjoyed. Had a look at the Sunday dinner menu and I will definitely be going to try the nut roast ( I'm a vegetarian). Lots to choose from and we will definitely be back again.

Love the 'Little B' because of its friendly young staff who always go out of their way to be helpful. We often visit to watch the football and they take the trouble to provide the best screen and sound for hearing impaired. Great atmosphere, nice pool table and capacity for disco if you feel inclined. Haven't eaten here but friends recommend.

We booked after my partner has finished the Manchester Marathon for a table of 6 at 15:00. When we arrived we got told “we’ve forgotten about you”. They tried to put two small round table together right near the door and I had to say that we aren’t sitting there due to the draft. We got told there was a 30-45minute wait of food but we could have 30% off our bill so we decided to stay. When we went to the bar to order I got told by two different members of staff that we can’t order food but we had been told by the manager that we still could due to being a booking. After a 1 hour and 15 minutes we asked where the food was and it took ages to get an answer and there was a reason why…. Our order didn’t go through!!!! We cancelled our order and got told we could have a round of drinks on the house but we had payed for a round 10 minutes before this. Really poor communication from staff and only one waitress came over and apologised… really really disappointed.

Came for some food before United Liverpool game. Ordered the halloumi sticks which were clearly frozen and honestly worse quality than a supermarkets for £6-7! The main was equally disappointing with a greasy battered fish, a tiny portion of peas and a handful of chips - certainly won't be coming back for food.

Absolutely love little place. All the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Food was amazing and came out quickly, hot and presentation was spot on . We Went on Mother’s day and they decorated the tables with flowers and balloons. Also had a live band play whom were very fitting for the occasion. Highly recommend. They cater for dogs, children and families.

What a lovely atmosphere today for the derby, kids had a fab time too with the jenga,chess and connect 4. Catered for Adults and children. We will definately be back soon. Food was also tasty, happy family all round today. Thanks little B 😌. Staff are really helpful and friendly.

OWNER OPENED THE TOILET DOOR WHILST I WAS USING THE ACCESSIBLE TOILET. MID WIPSE… AND TOLD ME I CANT USE IT AND NEED TO USE THE LADIES. VILE OF THEM

Owner disrespectfully opened the door on the disabled toilets whilst my friend was using it told them they couldn't be in there and told to use the ladies. No apologies or anything. Very rude and unwelcoming environment

Wrogen owner felt it was okay to unlock the disabled toilet, questioning why someone was using it. You should never be doing that, who are they to question who is and isn't disabled. Disgusting.

We regularly attend the little b for drinks as we love the atmostphere and the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, we decided to try some food and it came fast, hot and very reasonable prices, and was delicious, would definitely recommend

I love this place - my grandad has dementia and lives nearby. Whenever I visit him I take him here and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Some lovely locals who bought us all a pint last time and seem genuinely interested in his welfare.

Great staff, but this place really hasn't changed. Same sticky tables when you're trying to enjoy your meal. Place still stinks and really needs a full revamp. I ate a burger- it was fine but expensive for the quality

Came here for the first time the other night. It's easily one of if not the best pub for miles. The staff were really friendly and fun. The drinks weren't expensive and the atmosphere was great. There's pool darts and table football. Highly recommend

Visited the Little B Tuesday 19th of December 2023 the food and service absolutely brilliant. The chef came to our table to ask how everything was my reply absolutely spot on the lady/chef Irena. What a lovely young lady.I will certainly be visiting this establishment again in the very near future

Went for a family dinner, 10 people. Pre ordered food . Reserved table decorations for party ,excellent.!! All the food, starters, main meals and not forgetting, pudding!! Perfection!! Couldn't ask for better service. I had the Salmon 🥰. Wow!! Fell apart it was so perfect. All the staff were so helpful, all happy and friendly. Big thanks to them. Highly recommend a visit. Was in there and accused off bar staff of steeling £1 emptied my pockets and revealed £2 20p 2 £5 notes the bar manger then said get out of my bar after seeing I didn't have £1 literally embarrassed and bar staff carried on working i won't being going back how embarrassing over £1 clearly landlord is hard up for £1 won't be going there again Clearly doesn't understand proper mangement

Decided to go here with friends to watch the football and have some food on Sunday, the atmosphere was really easy, a great cross between a classic pub and a bar with class, very inviting mix of people and great service from all the staff, the food was superb and the service was spot on, would definitely go here again!

New guy has just taken this place on !! Finally it was clean he seemed to care about our experience which our lady visit seriously lacked !! We wish him every success and will most definitely go back !!

Do not use this pub if you do you are liable to a £60 fine from the evil Countrywide Parking management.We signed in as required and on the 17/11 we received a fine of £60.We were only in the pub for 64 mins.I have been using this pub since the 60,s,but i will never frequent it again.If i could give it a minus star rating i would.

This is such a wonderful pub, the staff were excellent, really friendly and attentive, made us feel really welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, we were more than satisfied with our visit.

Went in Saturday night. Started well the barman was really good and served us guickly. He went for a break then it all went wrong. The barmaid was shocking. Walking round cleaning menus leaving customer waiting. The landlord had to serve before she would come back to the bar. At one point we had to interrupt her talking to ask to be served. There was a singer on who just shouted and didn't know the words. Not a great first experience.

This place used to do lovely food but has really gone downhill ,i got burger and chips from here, the burgers were cheap burgers and were very rubbery to eat,also a glass of wine and a pint totaled nearly £16 ,town prices and as i put the lager up to my mouth fir a drink it stunk ,unfortunately wont be returning again ,hungry horse down road better value for money

Not been in years, food menu is really good. We shared the lunch sandwiches, one club and one goats cheese (delicious) all the food was really tasty and fresh, did not taste like frozen rubbish. And lovely service. Just quiet but was a Monday at 2pm so!

A very welcoming pub, excellent seats to watch thd Rugby. Didn't eat so not able to comment on the food. Would visit again.

Couldn’t believe how this place has deteriorated we couldn’t see the bar for vaping smoke totally disgusted. We had been in the pub for sometime and on this showing never again, I was of the understanding that vaping and smoking was illegal indoors but it doesn’t seem to matter in this place. What a shame that the place has become an avoidable venue

Adequate pint and reasonable pool table. Filled in the parking tablet. Received a £60 fine. They say I hadn’t filled it in but I even took a photo of my numberplate 2 minutes before going in and did it at it’s little table. £70 for two beers cheaper to drive to London and have one! I will vote with my feet. Do not park here.

Surprisingly hardly anyone in, which was a shock really considering the vibrancy this place used to have!

Had previously been going regularly to watch the CL football and have something to eat and drink and had been numerous times that year. Received a parking charge for going one evening 9.15pm til 10.20pm, didn't realise you had to register your car number plate ..I had never done previously and I had even been the following week (for which I didn't get a ticket) Following the ticket never been back! To many places selling car parks off and all signs have different & TCs, some you register your number plate and some you don't.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Little B! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The food was exceptional—especially the steak and chips, which were perfectly made on the outside and flaky on the inside. A wide variety of craft beers and classic pub drinks rounded out a fantastic evening. It was a Sunday afternoon and believe it or not I had not visited the place for 32 years. It’s changed from what used to be a busy place to a quiet place. When I visited there were about 6 people in the place. The bar man was great and his service was spot on. Will try and visit again when a bit more busier.

I work at home and decided to enjoy the sun at lunchtime. It was a spur of the minute decision to visit the Little B, and I'm glad I did. I had the salmon salad which was really lovely, tasty and fresh. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure I was happy with everything, which I was. The pub was clean and had a nice relaxed atmosphere, and I enjoyed sitting outside under the veranda in the shade. Thanks for the great service. I'll look forward to visiting again.

Had a really great meal here this evening. The food was extremely tasty, can strongly recommend the goats cheese salad with chilli glaze and caesar dressing. Chris, our waiter made us feel very welcome and was very attentive. Will certainly be returning. Dee and AJ

I parked my car in the Little Bee car park which was practically empty at 14:40:02 i was visiting sale rugby club to give a blood donation. I have done this before and as there is direct access to the rugby club understood that the pub was supporting the blood donation team by letting people giving donations park there I was not aware that I had to register my vehicle, there was no obvious signage stating that I had to do so. I left the car park at 15:40:33 and have now received a Countrywide parking fine for£ 60 saying I breeched the terms and conditions. This is Daylight robbery. And not supportive of the NHS.

Quiet and relaxing in the afternoon. Attentive staff. Sat outside yesterday in the sun, no one else about....perfect.

Attended a 40th party at this pub in Sale, with the one star really coming from the insane parking fine received afterwards (which ruined the whole experience). Despite it being at night and being in a separate area for the party with drinks supplied, I was not once told or asked to provide my car registration, I have ended up paying a £100 fine. This was despite speaking to the manager when I received this who simply (whilst politely) didn't help and pointed me to the external parking company appeals process. My genuine appeal, having attended the venue for the party with photo evidence as to a lack of signage on the way in and the photos of my car only showing the reg as at night was rejected.

About to fully re-open. Fantastic new chef and staff. Very clean and inviting. Quality life music from Dave and Howard on selected dates.

Went here yesterday (30/04/2023) and I just had to write a review . The Sunday roast was absolutely gorgeous. It was so tasty, hot, loads of meat (we had the beef) and so fresh. We ordered the cauliflower cheese which was delicious. The service was impeccable. We then had the berry crumble, again all freshly made which came with a choice of ice cream or custard. I just had to rate this with 5 stars. Can’t wait to return .

Just had a lovely family meal here for 4. The entrance to the car park is to the left of the building. We booked in for 5pm. One of us was 30 mins late but they were very patient. The table was set nicely with a candle lit. The eating area/restaurant feels separate from the drinking area. We couldn’t hear any noise from the bar area. A lovely friendly atmosphere and very helpful, efficient staff. They took our order at the table and we also paid at the table. Saw several children in there. The food was really good for all 4 of us…generous portions and freshly cooked. We had the fish & chips, meat pie, vegan burger and sausage & mash. All fresh, hot and very tasty. Just a little extra but I noticed the high quality napkins…not cheap paper ones! Really worth a visit. Thank you again for a lovely evening! :-)

We’ve just had a lovely family meal here for the first time in years. Really friendly service and the food was amazing for all 4 of us. Generous portions and freshly cooked. They were kind enough to adjust our meals how we wanted eg no bread with the vegan burger. The eating area in the pub now looks more like a restaurant with tables set and candles lit (we were there at 5pm). There was football on TV at the far end of the pub and in another area opposite the bar however we didn’t notice any noise from the TVs or those watching. Highly recommend and we will be back soon. Been several times for food. Live down the road so it’s a perfect spot when you just fancy a pub dinner. Food is always great & the staff are lovely!

Non bisogna mai giudicare un libro da una copertina e nemmeno un ristorante/pub per come si presente. Mi sono trovata molto bene, c'è una grande varietà di piatti. Ho provato il chicken supreme et il chocolate brownie ed erano molto buoni. Le mie amiche hanno provato il fish and Chips e ne sono rimaste entusiaste. Chris, il propietario forse, è stato cordiale e gentile!!

Brilliant! My wife came with families for Sunday lunch and was very impressed so we went back for Tuesday tea. Food freshly cooked well presented and great staff. Also a lovely pint of Thwaites Gold. Congrats to the Manager and staff.

Very good! Went with my mum and my partner for lunch/dinner. The fish and chips is one of the best I've had. The service was great too, very friendly. 100% recommended it!!

The little B has become one of mine and my other halfs favorite food spot. The staff are lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is great. And they have sports on the tv if you are after watching the football. The food is amazing and varied. With a menu that changes enough to keep it interesting. With great specials and amazing desert. And its all at a great price.

I attended the little B briefly on 18.12.2022. I was dropping off my 9 year old daughter with my wife who was with friends on a break from rehearsals next door at Sale Rugby Club! I was there for a total 43 mins, yet have now received a £100 parking charge. To say I’m angry is an understatement. I saw no signs whatsoever on a dark December evening. Appalling.

Update on my last review when we couldn't eat due to change in management Been for a meal this evening... amazing food, Great staff Thank you so much not going to eat for a week after those portions
