Terror. No manners what so ever from the staff. Shouting and yawning obscenely. Then one of them exiting through what I can only presume is the back fire exit and setting the fire alarm off, not once, but twice! Extremely disappointing experience. Would not recommend whatsoever.

Really nice sports bar with friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Plenty of seating with pool tables and huge screens. Toilets were not so good, 2 toilets which wouldn’t lock, and another with no door. There were a few others that were okay though.

Great place for meeting friends, always friendly staff and happy to help. we didn't eat but the table next to us had chicken wings and they smelt so good

Really slow service we ended up wiating over an hour to get 2 drinks. Also, drinks were charged double the normal amount.

I visited here the other day, with some friends for a spot of lunch, on arrival we were greeted by a smiley male member of staff, we sat in the restaurant area which was lovely and cool, considering it was so hot. Due to the temperature the staff brought over a jug of water for our party without being promoted. I ordered the fish and chips, the batter was lovely and crispy with hot chips, the food was great value, and the staff seemed genuine interested when speaking with us. I highly recommend this location, clearly the best venue if walking from the train station to the town centre.

Came across tapps as we were walking done the road. As we went in we noticed there were dart boards and pools tables aswell. Staff were incredibly friendly about everything. They have a really nice menu aswell I got a bbq Mac burger. Absolutely delicious. Would definitely eat again if I could. Lauren was really talkative and friendly aswell.

Great atmosphere. Beautiful food. Wonderful staff. Will definitely return. The managers are so lovely and welcoming. Nothing too much for them. The staff excellent definitely a return from me that’s a must. Thank you George tapps for a wonderful experience.

Avoid avoid avoid !! Toilets are an absolute disgrace. No toilet roll in the ladies and all the seats missing. Tried to complain to the manger but she was just vile with her actions and had us removed from the premises. How can anybody assume this is the correct way to run a pub. This is basic to at least have paper in the toilets and as for seats missing I’m bewildered. Manager definitely needs retraining at the very least !!!

Nice food, average quality pint, people buying drinks couldn’t get a seat as football was on and local lads allowed to sit in front row with their fruit juice they brought with them and not buying anything. Staff very shy when it comes to clearing tables, my 10am breakfast cup of tea was still on table when we left at 3pm, then started getting plastic glasses because they said they run out of glasses, we’ll try clearing the tables lazy. Needs some type of management.

Staff was friendly and chef Mikalai made the best wings in the town. Definitely recommend to everyone and will be back again

Went with friends, food and drinks were reasonably priced, atmosphere was good. However, the staff were awful, we tried to have a joke with a friend about his awful smoking habits with a lighter (whilst outside so was completely within the rules) and they kicked us out for “Attempting to burn the umbrellas”. Very good atmosphere in the garden! Good view of screens for the football and reasonably priced pints, not to mention good deals on other drinks. When I arrived was greeted by a friendly host and he mentioned all the available deals and started the visit on a good note.

Visited recently and received top class service from Chloe who was nothing but a delight. A great start to the sunny weather and lift in lockdown restrictions!
