Usual spoons ,great value,busy on Thursday market day

Disgusting to be turned away even from sitting outside as I have a small dog. What pub doesn’t allow dogs oitside? Ridiculous rule!

Some Wetherspoons can be a bit hit & miss, and some of the clientèle leave much to be desired but not so the Limes, it was a pleasure to visit. Good food, good drink, good staff, pleasant and efficient, and I'm happy to rate it as such. What it's like over a rowdy holiday weekend I wouldn't like to say, but during our brief visit it was most pleasant and convivial, somewhere we'd be happy to come back to!!

Decent food when it arrived but very slow on service when we visited

Makes a change to have a breakfast with runny 🥚 eggs and good cask ales no 3. Wetherspoons visit today I'm sure it's a mistake to stop selling 🥩 steak we are staying at the globe for a week perfect regards Glen

Fakenham on a Sunday (especially on Mother's Day) is a ghost town. Went to The Limes from limited choice and regretted it. Nice atmosphere & friendly polite service but my panini was awful. Undercooked chicken and bacon (very fatty) with the smallest amount of cheese. Never again.

Whats not to love about a good cheap breakfast with unlimited coffee refills?

Tables and floors could do with a deep clean as the first table we went to sit on had food scrapes on it and also on the floor under the table, the second table which we sat at was clean but the table was a bit sticky. They are also very slow to clear tables once customers have finished. The food was good and service was quick, overall not the best Spoons we have been to but not bad at all.

Food is average. Like any pub food - nothing extra special. Service is good. Good place to meet up friends and family for breakfast or lunch.

Visited for an evening meal with some friends. The decor is good and the place is clean, toilets are upstairs which is usual for spoons. The food was good, and represented good value for money.

Food like warm chip sitting in chip scoop..when we left large amount in scoop and no order being cook Plates also cold so food cool down very quick. Bean many times before and always been hot

The staff were great and it was a friendly atmosphere. The food was good, it was just meals didn't come with sides so a bit disappointing.

Staff didn't look like they wanted to be there 😕 Only bright light was the lady who helped restock the coffee machine.

Haven't been to a wetherspoons for a while. Busy but pleasant. Ruddles best bitter in top condition and of course at a good price. Did not eat.

Really lovely steak and salad with a nice pint, what could be better.

Ok nothing special. Gd place to go for cheap drinks and food ok a bit hit n miss at times but that goes for most of weather's I have been to.

The Limes has the friendliest staff, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I'm always happy when I'm there, it's Fakenham's version of Cheers (American TV show)!

Popped in for a quick drink after a busy day sightseeing. Very friendly staff, nice pub garden. Prices are amazing for a pint of Cider & a large pinot grigio just under £8

Popped in for a drink before going home. Didn't really explore or have anything to eat but had a nice outdoor area which is pleasant to sit in when whether nice

I enjoyed jacket potato with side salad, an ale and unlimited hot drinks for a little over a tenner. A smart JDW's with a large wraparound beer garden.

Just one thing that keeps happening wen the food is served it sits there for ages and goes stone cold on many occasions I have seen customers going to get it themselves.

It's a whetherspoons? Food was cheap, had the Thursday vindaloo curry, thinking it will be madras strength. Had me suffering! Nice!

Ordering with the app is complicated. The food was great. The service could clear and clean the tables more quickly. Unfortunately we had to do this alone.

Just got home from weather spoons in Fakenham. My partner had chicken tikka masala and I had cod and chips with mushy peas. Both meals were excellent and extremely good price.

This is a nice place food is good beer is cheap 👌 what more could you want. Staff are very friendly and helpful the toilets 🚻 are up stairs and there is seating outside 😀

Lovely country feel in this deceptively large Wetherspoon. The facilities are very nice, including a rear beer garden. Nice friendly service and comfortable surroundings. Very close to the center of Fakenham.

Feel this was possibly the best weather spoons we have been too, staff very friendly and helpful, food was served with great enthusiasm and everything was exactly as ordered, very fresh and hot. Nice spacious building,. Made a good end to our long busy day. Thank you.

Shocked, no dogs allowed, not in the bar, that I understand but in the front garden, am sure that they are going to miss out on a lot of passing tourist trade, I’ll be spending my money in a pub that welcomes 🐕

Came across this pub in a beautiful little town. Food was excellent, hot and cooked properly. Service was good. No wait to order.

Just popped in for a drink whilst in Fakenham for a couple of hours. Typical Whitherspoons with excellent value drinks. Could do with the decor being done to freshen the place up a bit. We did the eat.

Cheapest breakfast I've ever had.

Great food served very quickly. It was hot and the food tasted great! Ignore the tomato, my husband hates hot tomatoes!

Called in for late breakfast after visiting fakenham gas museum and a wander round the shops. Very nice breakfast and a speedy service. Reasonable prices too. 2 breakfasts and toast with unlimited teas, all for under a tenner 😋 What more can you ask for 😊

Food was decent, the server today was absolutely awful. Couldn't even crack a smile. Don't know her name all I can say is massive eye liner and lots of facial piercings . Nobody could tell me if the mash potatoe had milk in due to an allergy. Then proceeded to put butter on the childs plate. She ignored customers that are talking to her when she walks past.

Very nice Spoons with a beer garden. Inside is modern and light. Breakfast was great and as always fantastic value. Service was very good.

Scrambled eggs were very dry and almost foamy like they had been in the microwave. Otherwise food was lovely and served quickly. Clean and quiet at 8.45 am on a Sunday morning. A lovely atmosphere.

As wetherspoons go this is by far the best I've been in. The atmosphere was great and the decor is lovely. The staff were very friendly and polite even though there weren't many staff on and they were busy. Couldn't fault it.

Great its got a no smoking outdoor area.

Rudest bar staff I've encountered for a long time. Hospitality obviously not a part of staff training . Quick to bring out food but don't bother to pick up plates. One downstairs toilet for disabled is locked and opens directly onto restaurant. Not a place to take elderly who have mobility issues.Cheap food and drink at the expense of everything else.

Service was great, but the food was an absolute joke. The burger was maybe half the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger, had to ask for fries, which were meant to come with it and the atmosphere was cool, but you could tell it was a bar.

It is what it says on the tin. Always good food and good selection on drinks at a price no one can complain about and if they do then stay at home.

We dropped in for a snack and coffee A few days ago . All good including the cleanliness throughout 👌friendly staff Nice coffee at the right price 👍😉 Easy access and close main centre carpark . Definitely will return soon .

Cheap and cheerful, food was luke warm though

Service always good, drinks… well you can’t really mess them up. But the food was terrible, ordered the chicken burger and I couldn’t cut the burger with a knife it was too hard. Such a shame.

Absolutely shocking I've sat here with my daughter.my.son and partner and all I have listened to is to of the female workers slagging off there work colleagues all I wanted to do was enjoy my meal and not have to listen to them moaning about there work colleagues

Average, but over average for a Wetherspoons!

On a Tuesday it was very busy and there was very long lines, the wait time was about 15 minutes.

The Canada maple bacon and grilled chicken on a bed of fresh sald was worse than a Tesco meal deal, but costs three times as much. Microwaved rubber chicken and tasteless bacn, neither of which had never been anywhere near a grill.

Nice atmosphere bit busy but staff coped with the flow of people

Usual wetherspoons, you know what you get and good value, nice building and good family atmosphere (lunchtime midweek)

This place is what a wetherspoons should be I have visited lots of them and this one is by far the best all round with staff on the ball and getting the job done this team is a credit to the brand

Not very good I had steak it was tough must have died of old age , service was below average no atmosphere.

We visited here with approx 24 other people for food and drinks, and were pleasantly surprised that we were all able to sit in (across twp tables) and order hot and/or cold drinks, and later hot food for all. There was a good choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks both hot and cold Plus a good selection of hot meals. We would definitely recommend this place👍

Self service for coffee, both machines out of milk, creating a queue.

Food was OK, drink was so cheap. Loo was clean. What do you expect for the price. Fish and chips and a pint of Doom Bar for the same price as just a pint of beer in Brighton.

The food was good and came out quite quickly. It was very busy in there so we were lucky to get a seat. The disabled toilet was absolutely filthy so maybe a good idea to check on cleanliness more often.

The breakfast was ok what you would expect from one of these outlets .Staff friendly enough .

Had a quick lunch there , it was okay , what you'd expect , its a wetherspoons place . Staff very pleasant , all paid very little and on zero hours contracts but all doing a good job

1 star for friendly barman. Food was awful and very small portions. Chips were barely warm and obviously sat around for ages - can see that's been commented several times here so maybe change something? Panini was bone dry. Steak not cooked correctly. Side note on menu- gourmet option means peas, tomato and onion ring included... Not busy but tables needed clearing - tried to pick up 3 menus and all sticky. Left hungry and regretting decision to eat here.
