Absolutely delicious food and accommodation was clean and immaculate and comfortable with everything you need and lovely staff you can’t go wrong with this lovely place situated in a lovely area too, thank you Sarah and team for a lovely stay and look forward to coming back

We had a lovely meal at the Lethbridge. This is a traditional English pub with large dining area and a tie menu, which is quite unusual but very welcome and also seemingly quite popular with locals and visitors. The food is very good quality. They also have a takeaway option. The staff were friendly, if slightly confused. They initially served food intended for a different table to our table and then there was some confusion whilst they sorted that out. Everyone remained cheerful and the overall experience was very positive.

We recently stayed in one of the rental rooms at The Lethbridge Arms, and were impressed with helpfulness and hospitality of staff. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend if staying in the area!

As a party of 7 people were very pleased with the quality and the standard of the food , there is absolutely no complaints as each person enjoyed their choices but I have to say that the landlady’s approach and treatment towards our party once the time exceeded their 10 o’clock closing time boarded on rude & unprofessional , as we travelled to the Lethbridge via Taxis we were made to feel totally unwelcome whilst we waited for our Taxis to pick us up , this absolutely spoilt and tainted my opinion of this restaurant, well done to the chief but I recommend the Landlady takes a course in custom relations and finds a personality

Stopped here after getting off steam train, the staff were friendly and the Thai food was awesome, better than the normal chain pub food you get. Highly recommend this pub.

Delicious food and a friendly welcoming service

Excellent food, as always. Lovely anniversary meal with little one in tow but lovely people and great service!

Cooked to order so expect delays, our took over an hour when we ordered at 8pm. One was requested medium and it had no chilli heat at all (masaman) and the pangang was requested hot and had some warmth but definitely wasn't hot. Waiting staff was disappeared clearing tables even when we asked for an update, she then ignored us until I got up and went to her to ask for an update - it is on its way, but we have been busy - the restaurant by this point was nearly empty! The fryer was also broken so lots of things not available and no seabass.

We were on the West Somerset Railway that terminates at Bishops Lydeard. Not wanting to try the coffee in the station café we hurried to The Lethbridge Arms (in the limited window we had before re-boarding for the return trip) where we were sure we could enjoy a couple of americanos. They were possibly the worst (and most expensive) we have ever tasted, like flavoured hot water... we left them half-full on the table. I wish we had stayed at the station café and taken our chances there.

Amazing as always! This place never fails to deliver such lushness. The food is delicious and the surroundings are so quirky. Our hostess Katie was a delight and really attentive. We will be back!

We booked a room as going to a friend's birthday in the village. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room. Room was a good size and overlooked the beer garden. Room was nicely decorated and spotless. Nice bathroom with good shower,towels and toiletries. Plenty of tea , coffee and biscuits. Lots of storage and a TV. Bed was really comfortable but I personally found the pillows a little hard but that's just me. All in all a lovely place to stay.

A really exceptional restaurant. We had a family gathering of 10. I requested a quiet table, as my husband has dementia and dislikes too much noise. We were given the perfect table, all on our own. The food was superb and the waitress was really lovely. Highly recommended.

Absolutely rate this place for Thai food and great service. Nothing was too much trouble for Harrison who served us well will definitely be back for more and recommend it to family and friends

Delicious food. It was wonderful to have so many gluten free choices on the menu. Service by Harrison was very friendly and efficient. And dog friendly!

siobhan was able to get me and my friends a table on a busy saturday night and was very kind and friendly. we were sat by the bar and ben and lewis were very attentive and ensured our drinks were always filled. The food was amazing and came very quickly even though it was busy. will definitely return and make sure to book next time!

Lethbridge Arms came highly recommended. We decided to give it a try. Food was amazing. Staff were friendly knowledgeable and efficient Nothing was too much trouble. Prices were good. We made a last minute booking on a Friday night and were given a good table. Our dog was also welcome which is a big plus for me. Lethbridge was clean and there was ample free parking. What a gem of a restaurant brilliant Somerset pub we wasn’t sure what to order so asked Katie our lovely waitress who recommended the most wonderful dishes so satisfied and will recommend this restaurant 100 percent.

We come every month or so. The food never disappoints. Piping hot and served as spicy as you like. Jenny served us and was attentive and very helpful. Buzzing atmosphere on a Friday night. Will be back soon

Excellent meal Chevaugh was very welcoming . We got our drinks & were shown to the table. We were asked how we liked our food; Mild or Thai spicy . The chef came out to check on us as we had Thai spicy. Superb flavours....

Driving back from Watchet to Taunton I had a brainwave. I could pop in to The Lethbridge Arms for lunch. So glad that I did. This lovely pub serves outstanding Thai food and - even though the menu has got a wide range of choices...

How nice to have such excellent Thai food just outside Taunton. The Lethbridge Arms at Bishop's Lydeard is both local pub and a terrific Thai restaurant. It's very affordable food and with a surprisingly diverse menu. The service is attentive without being intrusive and is always with a smile. This is a go-to option for when I get that hankering for quality Thai food, cooked by a genuine Thai chef. Utterly brilliant - nothing to fault about it whatsoever.

AMAZING food and great staff. We walked in without booking!! It was very busy but squeezed us in. This place is worth a visit. The take away menu was also as good as the food in the restaurant. Thanks we will be back.

This looks like a traditional pub, and in deed you can go in for a pint but they are also a superb Thai restaurant. They have a good range on their menu including many vegetarian and vegan options as well as a lot of gluten...

We pre booked a table for my husband and I turned up at 7.30 and led to a small table for two in the corner....waitress came took our starter course with drinks and had that...then from 8pm to 9.10 we waited and waited and waited...

We visited for an evening meal. The food was very tasty and well presented. Our waitress, Lily-Mae was very attentive and helpful, answering all of our questions. Best mango sorbet ever😍 Next time we are in the area we will return.

Another meal, this time for lunch. Log fires lit which was great. Service by Harrison spot on. Must also mention Chavaughn who although didn't service us today, did carry out the chips and prawn crackers and was as welcoming as always. I cannot fault the food here. 10/10 again.

Great for some post-work emotional support noodles or a warming lunch after a ramble in the Quantocks as they don’t mind a bit of mud and are dog friendly. My go-to choices are the pad thai or the yellow curry. Normally flying solo when I...

Fantastic Thai food. They do do English food mainly burgers and a separate children's menu. The Thai food is so good I haven't tried the English food. Excellent service, very friendly.

We went on a Friday night, a day when it was their Thai and burger night. The service was excellent the staff although young were polite, friendly and extremely efficent. The food was delicious from both menus and more than enough for all of us and priced perfectly. We will be going back and the family members we were with will be back for take away as well as eating in when babysitters allow.

Had a wonderful meal on our way home from Porlock. It was the best Thai meal we've ever had. The pub was nicely done and the staff and atmosphere was excellent. The head chef Amy and waitress Chevaughn were superb.

First visit to Lethbridge, but definitely not the last... food was amazing and really good size portions... can recommend the sharing plater for starter.. sweet and sour chicken, green curry and burgers looked amazing and I'm reliably informed best burger in UK! And chocolate brownie if you can squeeze in dessert... great value for money and service was brilliant!

Another enjoyable visit to the Lethbridge Arms! Chevaughn looked after us all very well indeed and I can't praise the quality of the Thai food they serve nearly enough. Its so good! So glad this pub is right on my doorstep.

The Thai food here used to be served in The Chapel so it's great to see it's still great. I highly recommend the sharing plater followed by Pad Kra Pow. Definitely will be returning, I've missed the Thai food.

What a wonderful little find..... I have driven past the "A" board on the roundabout for the last year, thinking..... "I must go and try that Thai food". Well well well.... Amy (chef) transported me back to Thailand, in an instant. That was the best Thai soup I have had since I visited Thailand.... Phenomenal.... !!! The staff are friendly, our server Ruby let us take our time ordering and brought out our son's food earlier than the rest.... ( Hungry 9 year old)... Absolutely bloody brilliant meal... Highly highly highly recommended.... Make sure you book, we got lucky tonight.... Probably because it was 5:30 !!

Fantastic Thai food back again this week

Had a superb family meal on Friday 24/11/23. Service very helpful and prompt. Meal plentiful and excellent quality with a good diversity of choice. Thank you.

The food and service were the best we've had for a long time, if not ever, honestly. Nice to go somewhere with top tier service (seems hard to come by) and the whole table agreed the currys were the best we've had.

Just had the most beautiful meal! We had the sharing platter, absolutely stunning! Then a followed by currys, I had a massaman, other half had green, bloody lovely! Garlic rice is a must! Best of all for us is its dog friendly! Bonnie enjoyed her fusses and biscuits. Thank you!

So happy we found this beautiful pub/restaurant. The atmosphere and decor are a beautiful mix of classic English pub with bits of Thailand dotted around. The food is truly outstanding and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Would highly reccomend!

Had a burger here. Very dry, as the chef had failed to put in the burger sauce as described and the burger itself was overcooked. Very disappointed.

Great country pub friendly staff

The food was nice, and the sharing platters were small on size and costly for what you received. We had a party of 15 from 10 adults and 5 children. They looked after my family well and had a good atmosphere. The owner came and introduced herself, which was nice.
