The Lamb Inn Bicester in Cherwell

This place needs closing down. Some old time queen trying to run the karaoke looks tired and fed up, the pub itself must attract the scum of bicester. Old tarts and desperate old drunks. Avoid Avoid.

Always had good service when I visited. Always busy when football is on and unfortunately you do get some people who do not consider others when they are supporting their team. When sport is not on it is a good friendly place to have a drink.

This pub is focussed on providing comfortable space to watch sports live. Thanks to an open space layout it is good visibility of the screens from each place. On work days there are promotional beer prices.

Lots of TV if you want to watch sport, no food.

Popped in for a drink. Nice big pub, clean and a good place to watch sports, tvs around the pub and also at some seating areas. Toilets upstairs, good bar. Drink prices good.

Cheap and cheerful with a good selection of drinks, cocktails and wine. Multiple screens for sport too.

I celebrated my retirement, and I booked a table of 15. We ordered food via the app and didn't have to wait too long for it to be served. The service was excellent and friendly, and the atmosphere was great

I didn't try the food so can't comment here, service was ok nothing special but quick and efficient. The drag was not good last night the karaoke has lots of different queens now, me and my friends prefer one queen bring back Marikina it seems confusing having too many different people. Will give it a break and will head back in a few weeks x

The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful however there needed to be more of them. They struggled to cope with the amount of customers. The management need to reconsider their staffing plan.

Great place groups. It was really busy when we were there. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed.

Don't get me wrong, I was absolutely baggaged in a Christmas suit by 1930hrs on a Monday and this place did not let me down....I needed to have a regain schnellmacken and the chicken wings and pints of OJ and lemonade did the trick. Only let down is I have to climb stairs like im in a wetherspoons to go drop trowel. Ps great quiz in here too if youre looking for some evening fun

We had a Xmas meal here and really enjoyed it. The food was tasty and budget friendly. The staff were friendly and amenable even though they were catering for a large number of people.

Had such a lovely time here!! Didn't know what to expect and had such a lovely and friendly welcome, a smile makes a massive difference. Sat down and had some food and I can honestly say it was really lovely food. I can't fault what I had, we'll presented, we'll cooked and tasted lovely. Keep doing what you're doing guys. As we were camping locally we picked this pub to watch the Womens world cup final in. Food and service were good even tjough the place was packed. Breakfast burger was great

Visited lamb inn other day wasn’t impressed at all pub was empty no atmosphere whatsoever, secondly ordered food burning hot burger which I have had in the Bournemouth and reading branches and it was horrible bun falling apart lettuce was brown and sauce was watered down with what I believe was vinegar also chips were pale whoever you chef is needs a crash course in how to 1 cook and 2 present food 1 star no good Infact terrible won’t be coming again

For a large party of 18 the service was amazing , lovely staff and perfect food and prices !.

I recently visited the Lamb Inn pub and have mixed feelings about my experience. Although the atmosphere was inviting and there weren't many customers present, the food unfortunately fell short of expectations. I ordered the nachos, peppercorn sauce, and mixed grill, but was disappointed with what arrived at my table. The food took 30 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and missing key items. The sausage was absent from my mixed grill, and the peppercorn sauce was nowhere to be found. I informed the waiter of the situation, and while she promptly notified the kitchen, it still took an additional 10 minutes for the missing parts to arrive. While I appreciated the efforts of the staff to address the situation, I feel the overall organization and quality of the food could be improved upon. I expected the food to be fresh and hot, especially given the small number of customers present. Additionally, the missing items and long wait time were concerning. If these issues can be addressed, I believe the Lamb Inn pub has potential to be a great spot to frequent. The inviting atmosphere and friendly staff add to the overall experience, but the quality of the food and efficiency of service must be improved in order for me to return in the future.

I popped in here when the train broke down, Sandy helped me with a taxi and charged my phone. A little respite from my manic day with a nice cider whilst I waited. Thank you ladies for helping me out

Nice place with great lay out and loads of TV screens, but astonishingly average food. One of our meals was inedible and had to be returned as it was literally impossible to cut into, the other meals were perfunctory efforts but basically did the job of supplying energy to our bodies to continue our existence.

Too much crowded, especially in the evening, other than that is good to f you like noise and people cheering about their favourite football club

Friday nights Drag Karaoke with Blouse have turned this place into a must-go for me and my friends every week. Absolutely transformed the vibe and finally added something new to the town after years of feeling stale and boring! I became a regular since they joined and now spend the whole week looking forward to visiting the Lamb (and the very sweet staff too) and hearing Blouses jokes, rocking to the amazing karaoke performances! Please continue to bring cool stuff like this to Bicester we need it!

Good sports pub, lots of screens. Beer prices are good! They were a bit short staffed for a 6 Nations match, so long waits at the bar.

Always have a great experience coming here. The staff are lovely and do everything they can. We usually see Mary in the week who's amazing, and a highlight of our visit.

Quite a nice place. I was there during the Man U vs. Arsenal match. There were a lot of fans from both clubs, but everyone was respectful to each other, so that's cool.

Every Wednesday morning we visit and always get greeted with a coffee for Nan by the lovely Mary. Service is excellent every time. Food is amazing. The whole experience is absolutely wonderful and it brightens our day seeing Mary every Wednesday! We love you Mary!!

The lamb has gone down fast since the new manager has taken over the food is cold and a lot smaller he doesn't want families in the premises and he adds 50 pence on a pint when there a live match on but your a company that deceive people

Football was on and was told wait for food would be 30 minutes. Someone who ordered just before us got their food within that timescale but we ended up waiting nearly an hour even after going back up to ask. Our order was only two small plates of chips!!

I'm new in town ,i wos walking past this pub and I saw a beautiful atmosphere during the game look Liverpool X man city ,so I decide to walk in and it was absuletely amazing stuff and very friendly, Also the locals look very nice. It seems they are under new management,I have met this very nice manager .i think she's assintent manager ,I'm not sure but kyler she a massive really member of staff adding to the team .iits this kind of people they need to look after as good workers .well done

Great food lovely bar staff friendly and helpful but I don't like the new manager removing the kids play area and which does not encourage families into the pub and the manager changes 50 pence on a drink when there is live sport on in which will not encourage people to eat that is very naughty and unfair on the public who only want to eat

Delicious food and a good atmosphere while watching football

The pub in general was OK. The downstairs toilet facility let it down greatly. It was absolutely filthy and not just a few hours dirt.

We went for the quiz on the opening night of the Premier League which meant it was much busier than other times we've visited. There was a very long wait to get served and our order was misheard due to number of people waiting so we ended up with the wrong drinks.That said the staff were working flat out to cope and were very apologetic when we pointed out the mistake. It isn't their fault that bar staff are in short supply. We enjoyed the quiz and our evening. If you don't mind the noise and you enjoy the football this is the pub for you.

Went in on Monday evening when many other places were closed and thank god they were! Hostess was incredibly welcoming and smiley and the food was great. Quick service, nice atmosphere, very clean and tidy and very reasonably priced. They also were extremely careful with my girlfriend's allergies. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Perfect place! I had dinner here! It’s just a delicious place. I had small fish and chips. It was a lovely piece of fish! Also Kyla is so sweet and helpful. She showed up with a new bottle of mayo without us asking for it when she heard the sound of our almost empty mayo bottle. She was super patient with me when I was checking allergens and hesitating about the drinks. I had a great time here! Will definitely come back!

Good pub spoilt by having toilets upstairs, so very restrictive for mobility customers

Ladies, if you want to feel safe on a night out head to the Lamb. A man was making many of the women on the dance floor feel uncomfortable and one of the wonderful Barwomen swooped in and saw him off the premises

Visited on a Thursday evening with 3 small children, it was cheap and had a small play area which kept the children amused. Didn't expect much from the food but actually the veggie burger was really good! Wine selection could be improved, but was pretty perfect for what we needed.

Had a fun night at a quiz that has been brought in to the 21st century with high tension that favours rapid responses.

Great place. Huge pub with top food & drinks. Manager Claire is a star. Saw a super band there, The Razorz, as well so had a cracking night out as well
