The Lamb and Trotter in City of London, Westminster

Estuve aquí con colegas para tomar algo antes de salir a cenar. Soy un usuario de silla de ruedas, pero como el bar estaba ocupado, me quedé con mi silla de ruedas detrás de mí en caso de que necesitara sentarme de repente (lo que sucede cuando mis piernas pueden ceder). Un barman (que decía ser el gerente) trató de subirse a mi silla de ruedas en lugar de caminar. Cuando le dije que no lo hiciera me dijo que tenía que mover mi silla de ruedas ya que era un “peligro de incendio”. Cuando lo llamé, me dijo que podía mover mi silla de ruedas. Cuando le expliqué por qué necesitaba que me necesitara, él no tuvo absolutamente ninguna empatía y me dijo que porque me había enfadado con él, debía irme. Mi colega (que es un tipo grande) le dijo que caminara, pero luego dijo que se negaría a servirme porque me había enfadado con él por la forma en que me había tratado. Debería intentar estar en silla de ruedas y tal vez entendería mi enojo. Solo he estado en silla de ruedas durante 2 años y nadie piensa que experimentarán un evento que cambie su vida. La gente debería tener más empatía.

Apareció improvisado cuando estaba conociendo a un paciente de la calle Bart directamente al otro lado de la calle, así que es súper conveniente y es compatible con perros. El servicio era agradable, pero la comida era deficiente incluso para comida básica del pub. Definitivamente exploraremos otras opciones cercanas.

Entró como mi esposa es doctora al lado. Pero el olor a pescado era abrumador. Pedimos bebidas y nos dijeron que la cocina estaba cerrada y que no podíamos comer ni siquiera un entrante. Nos sentamos y luego vimos al personal sentarse y comer grandes platos de comida frente a nosotros. Luego procedimos a pedir más bebidas y nos dijeron que teníamos que movernos abajo. Al salir después de 30 minutos subimos a ver al personal del bar sentado a beber con sus amigos, lo que era extraño. En general no fue una buena experiencia y se sintió mal tratado. No recomendaría o volvería!

Had lunch here and it was delightful! Sat at the bar and received great service from Dee, the manager here. We had the fish sandwich and the steak sandwich, a side of crispy fries...perfect combination. Both sandwiches were delicious, along with great suggestions for beer and wine! Very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere made for a great time! We'll be back!

Really lovely pub with a nice atmosphere- fairly quiet on the last Friday in January - as is often the case in this area it doesn't open on the weekend. We were staying nearby and so it was really convenient for us. Great service. My brother in law didn't enjoy his steak which was a shame but the rest of us really enjoyed our food. But they took that of the bill so no complaints in the end. Really nice evening.

Our experience at The Lamb and Trotter was nothing short of amazing. The standout feature of our visit was the impeccable service provided by Tay. As for the food, we were treated to generous portions of delicious dishes that exceeded our expectations. Thank you from the OSiT team

Having to go to Bart’s Hospital as our daughter was having an operation once she went down for her op we had an opportunity to go get some food. Just opposite the main entrance to the hospital was this pub The Lamb & Trotter. Had a look in the window menu and thought that will do for us. Nicely done pub and a restaurant area down stairs. The food was delicious all fresh cooked by the on-site Chef who obviously knew his stuff. Very nice for what we thought was pub grub but this is a different class food from that. The lager was also something I’ve never heard of but was a nice pint and the ice cream was to die for. Very helpful and informative staff especially the lady manager of the restaurant . All in all would recommend to anyone and would go again if in the area to it.

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. I decided to pop in for a quick drink after a tiresome day and feeling a bit low. Was welcomed by warm friendly staff and the manager was full of smiles and friendly chat. I decided to then go on to order a meal. The steak was just as I had requested (medium well), and tasted absolutely mouthwatering! Will definitely be making another stop off there pretty soon.

Popped in whilst walking back to Liverpool Street . Tap take over by BBNo and had some great beers. Bar staff were very friendly, helpful and great to talk too. Lovely looking pub and hidden out the way.

Came here recently and found the service to be friendly and food was tasty although very limited options for anyone with dietary requirements; unless there was an additional menu but that wasn’t offered. Vegans and veggies would find it tricky to eat in the pub part. That said, food took almost an hour to be at our tables which wasn’t ideal for a quick business lunch. Would probably return but not when there are time restraints!

Found the Lamb and Trotter after a visit to the Museum of London nearby. Lovely place, lovely food and lovely people. Great IPA ale too!

Great super helpful staff and fantastic food. The chips were top class and the vegetable tempura was the best, far better than you expect for a pub. The inside of the pub has a modern friendly feel and downstairs looked really cool.

Just popped in by chance on a walk home from St John Street and we were glad we did as we were very warmly welcomed. We only had a time for a quick drink but will definitely return when we are in the vicinity. Our dog was welcomed as well which is great.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere and very good service by Dee and Donna. Will be back for sure wine was very good and a lovely pint of IPA.

Great to see this bar now back open. Staff are fantastic and table service is always welcome served with a smile. Food is slightly reduced in these covid times but never the less still very good. Covid 19 measures were ok but maybe more hand sanitizers would be good. All in all great to have the bar back

Inevitably, if you are at Barts Hospital, you either aren’t too good yourself or you have a sick relative. So the Lamb and Trotter is a pleasant place for a meal directly opposite Barts. There’s a restaurant downstairs or you can get a good plate of food at ground level in the pub. The staff are friendly, the food is a good standard. If you get the right armchair, you won’t want to leave!

Super upmarket pub for an informal business meal or relaxed drink or meal with friends. Great menu of high quality traditional meals, good selection of beers and a well priced and varied wine list. Business guests have asked to be taken there again! Staff knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Well recommended!

In the last week I have visited Lamb & Trotter twice. First time when in bar with colleagues after meeting we were asked to leave so they could close @ about 9.45pm. Then today another colleague & I were refused service at bar because staff were too busy. Will not risk further humiliation by returning.
