A favorite café in London if you want to have a quick coffee and eat a sandwich. The large Café Latte is particularly delicious, but so are the sandwiches!!

Dirty tables, no proper cups for sit in customers, staff more interested in chatting to off-duty colleagues than making the place look less minging.

Normally I get great service at Costa, it is why I often chose to go here instead of other places however my service today (Sunday 3/03/24) was nothing short of abysmal. I ordered a tea to have in, what they first tried to give me was a half filled take away cup, when I reminded them that I wanted to have it in store they looked at me blankly while I had to repeat myself thrice. They finally went to remake the drink using the normal teapot that you get when you have a drink in only to half fill that aswell. On top of this they did not put the tea bag in, instead opting to just throw it on the tray. They then turned their back on me as they went to serve the next customer forcing me to have to ask them for milk that they slammed on the tray. All together a very unpleasant experience. I will defiantly not be coming to this costa again.

This could be a really nice costa. Could be.. However, the tables are quite dirty. The staff half of the time have very little to do and yet could not clean the tables. When I sat down I could identify what previous person had eaten... 😳 In addition, there was loud, bass heavy music, which after a while can give you a border-line headache and makes it almost impossible to do some work (which I hoped to do..) 😕 Room for improvement? No doubt! 🤔 😊

Need a good comfey chair after a weekend in London? It's worth popping by for a coffee, at probably the best Costa I've been to. We had a great weekend, but the struggle in the area to find somewhere to chill on and non bar/stool was desperate. Recommended for chairs, coffee, lots of power outlets for travellers, and atmosphere. 👍

Nice little place for coffee and snacks.

I was searching for wireless charging in London, This was the closest I could find near Liverpool street station. Atmosphere was nice, a lad from Lithuania I believe was working here and made a small talk with every customer, also offered a discount on some articles. I read the daily City AM and Metro paper here while my phone was charging and I can say, great and clean Costa Coffee!

It's very spacious and nice. However it's pretty cold inside because of the air conditioning. And the staff did not care about the feedback about it...

Just outside Liverpool St station, located in Eldon St, it's a great place to grab a cuppa before heading to work. Super friendly team! Lots of tables and charging points for laptops and phones as well.

Air-conditioning was blowing right in our backs wherever we tried to sit, otherwise a relaxing and nice place with good service.

Friendly staff, great service. Manager was so accommodating when I spilt a full hot chocolate (with whipped cream) all over the table and an armchair. Wouldn’t let me help clean it up and replaced it with a new drink without my even asking. Will definitely visit again.

Popped in here for a quick flat white takeaway this morning. Renewed my faith in humanity. I've never been so warmly greatly by anybody in a coffee shop. The staff were so super friendly happy smiley that it touched my very soul and has given me a smile for the rest of the day. Thank you!!!!

Your stock standard Costa coffee experience. Great place to catch a quick lunch. Staff are very friendly and coffee is very good. Staff are always willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Great place to work/catch up on mails. Gets very busy around lunch time.

On the week days this store is well run. The weekends however, the staff I just incompetent, they mess up the drinks and think when you ask to eat in you want the food wrapped in a bag. Avoid on weekends.

Surprisingly clean. Service was pleasant. Quiet on a Monday afternoon. I just had the vegan gingerbread latte vegan cookie. It was nice but a little sickly for me. Why they gave me two was beyond me! I accepted but gave it away. One was enough!

One of the best Costa Coffee stores. Atmosphere: awesome Customer services : excellent. Staffs are very friendly, helpful and approachable. You would definitely enjoy sipping your coffee here while charging your phone or laptop as this place has many sockets around the tables. Also there is wireless charging place while you wait for the coffee to be served . 😍

Typical Costa in a modest building with a cosy atmosphere. Varies seating and a few nooks. A tad more pleasant than your average. Friendly staff and clean tables, etc.

Romanian lady very loud and very rude im their customer last two years every single day I go for coffee today she was very rude with me.she doesn't know how to speak with customer manger should take notice.Next time im not gona go there.Avoid this place

I just been there as a my first time and i ask for something and i been served as normal but they need to have a little chat with romanian girl @simona to come down and if she it's tried need to repot to manager that .. every one it's upset ...i heard from she speaking with one romanian customer if i was in romania i don't know what it was gonna happen.. anyway verry tasty coffe.. please sort out with staff u might lose customer

Pretty spacious, clean & comfortable. Not too busy (Saturday lunchtime). Decent cappuccino and banana & walnut cake.

Costa outlets can vary slightly depending on location, available space and refurb level. If you like our offering this is a very good one. (Transparency - I work for the wider company).

Morning pick up is a must from here. Great Mocha or a cappuccino, not so keen on the food tho as depending on who serves you depends on the quality of the food OR drinks

Después del desayuno y una caminata necesitábamos un pequeño recojo. Así que pedimos un Latte grande, un Chocolate mediano de Navidad y un Muffin de chocolate de Terry. Las bebidas eran perfectas y el servicio también. ¡¿El panecillo hubiera estado un poco menos seco que le daría a este lugar 5 estrellas ?!

Good tasting coffee, first did a review 3 months ago (4 *), been back, coffee was a good as ever, the atmosphere really nice, the cake was really delicious, will go again, also upped rating to 5 *

It's a great Costa, this one ..roomy, seating outside too.. efficient staff, and all the usual goodies..I always enjoy a chocolate twist or a little Tiffin with my cappuccino..

This is a standard large Costa Coffee but the service is often unprofessional. They seem to want to have a laugh as opposed to serving customers. Not all staff but some. Lack of hygiene also makes this not my favourite Costa. Could do a lot better:(

Nice venue. Good coffee, good service, plenty of seats and, most importantly, quiet enough for you to hold a decent conversation without having to shout across your table.

Possibly the best coffee shop in the area. Don't expect to wait too long for your morning coffee as the team are exceptionally quick!!! Which certainly helps if like me you're forever running late. Smiles in the morning from the friendly team always! Could not recommend this place enough

Friendly staff coffee was not hot , tables needed clearing more frequently ,floor dirty and toilets were really tired and not that clean .

This shop is very spacious and it can be busy during the week. I really enjoy the atmosphere during weekends, having coffee with friends or relaxing with a book. Staff is usually friendly. My only issue would be with some people who go there and don't buy anything and still take a seat to use the space as their living room, talking loudly on the phone. And that is becoming more frequent.

Costa Coffee - Eldon Street on Wednesday morning 6th March 2019 at 9:25 am "baristas with broken English" on first till (from entrance) provided rubbish customer service. She did not take order properly and tried to charge additional bits on top of the order. When I noticed I asked for refund. She could not process card refund from card machine and apparently She got angry, frustrated and took money from the till and throw at me like I am a beggar. Not only that, got both of our coffees wrong :( Shame this is the level of customer services of Costa Coffee at one of main location in London City. #NOmoreCostaCoffee

Good for meeting. A tax noisey but overall good. Service was quick. Coffee was awful and there were too many uncleared tables for too long.

Slim line coffee shop, generally a bit of a queue but not that surprising considering the area. Friendly staff but I always find it very slow

Didn't take a photo of my pre-Christmas treat of Pigs in Blankets panini as I was in a bit if a rush and wolfed it back...that's how enjoyable it was. Visiting at 4.20pm the branch was busy but not so that I got a table seat without having to clear away a previous customer's tray. Service was very efficient and offered a choice of milk for me tea.

Sunday morning with less than 10 people in the store... The two "baristas" and I use that term loosely couldn't cope. Got both of our coffees wrong. I would honestly dread to think how bad this place could be first thing on a Monday morning when it's busy!

How Costa coffee is the UK's number one coffee shop is beyond me. Decided to give you guys one more shot but once again Costa made me a glass of milk with a hint of coffee

A small branch that is often unclean, with grumpy staff. But they serve Costa coffee just like every other branch.

Average COSTA. Nothing special, but up to standard apart from no caramel sprinkles on my salted caramel frostino. #firstworldproblems
