I’ve come to Lamb and Lion multiple times and the staff has always been extremely nice. Most recently, Harvey really made our night with his great hospitality and humour! The food is also good, tried the mac&cheese and was very pleasantly surprised. It’s a great pub to watch football games/sports.

We came for afternoon drinks. Very well priced beers and 2 for 1 cocktails (same cocktail). Service is amazing, beer garden great for social events, booths out the back with sports on, dogs allowed, would definitely be a vibe later on in the evening! Well priced and good range of starters/snacks, burgers look juicy and traditional pub classics

I love scampi and chips. It’s my usual order when I come to the UK 5-6 times a year. This was the WORST scampi I have had in. Y 50+ years coming here. Over cooked, and tasteless. Chips weren’t anything to write home about either. Partner had the burger and said it seems to be like a brick in his stomach

Despite the roadworks the Lamb and Lion were so welcoming and friendly. We had phenomenal Fish and Chips -best so far on our journey from Devon. We are so pleased to have found such a wonderful restaurant in the hub of Bath that still has an old English feeling of warmth and comfort. Thank you so much for a great evening 🇬🇧

Hi , myself and my family came into your bath (lamb and lion ) pub for drinks as it was my daughters birthday 26/08/24 and we had been shopping , to be greeted by I assume manager / senior staff asking if we were dining or drinks to which my reply was drinks please and then told us abruptly that under 18s can stay if dining but if only drinks then 1 and go which my husband asked why is that and he retorted its our policy ! On being seated we noticed that no one else was challenged even anothercouple with children who sat outside . We have been to another great UK pub in cheddar (Riverside Inn) and they have always been welcoming and have never told us just 1 drink and go . I work in the bar industry and have never heard of this policy and my husband is a chef who also hasn't heard of this as a.policy either When my husband went to get the drinks he asked the barmaid about said policy and she said its been the same for 11 years but we have taken our kids in before though some years ago and have never had this sort of treatment before many thanks katrina Brimble

Great food, friendly staff and excellent atmosphere. What more can you ask for. All the ingredients that make a great pub.

Nothing bad to say here , good tasty food,good selection of drinks and super friendly staff,well worth a visit if you are in Bath ,probably the best pub around.

Being a vegetarian I thought I was in for the normal 40 item menu with 2 options for myself. BUT I was stuck for choice. Great options on the menue, order from app, food delivered fast, presented well with polite staff. What more could you want? We had a nice booth in the garden on a lovely sunny Saturday. Good choice of deserts and drinks. Will definitely advise anyone visiting Bath to visit this establishment. Well done Lamb and Lion it's a 5* from me.

Great place and the staff are legends. I am an avid wallabies fan and they were able to get the rugby on for me! Great food and beer as well. Highly recommend

Lamb and Lion is by far the best pub in Bath! Johnny makes you feel welcomed from upon entering until you exit. This was my first English pub experience from America and I couldn’t be more pleased. The traditional food and drinks are top notch.

Lovely people . Only critisism is i ordered 2 x LOADED jacket potatoes which definately are NOT loaded. .bbq chicken.wasnt too bad but chilli one had literally a tablespoon of chilli so not worth 7.99.and theres not even a side salad!

We have been there for lunch. The menu has a lot to offer, many different dishes. We took advantage of the meal deal. The staff is friendly and very helpful with choosing dishes. The pub is bright and spacious. Many thanks!

Fantastic venue for a big gathering - there were 16 of us and we were made to feel very welcome. Service was amazing, staff were friendly and Harvey was a great host!

Reason for only 4 stars was that my 17 and a half year old granddaughter, drinking a soft drink, was asked to leave, even though we still had full drinks. I assumed that as she was with responsible adults that she would be allowed as she was over 16. Could you confirm the law on this please.

Rude staff, came to watch the euros 4 hours early spoke to a member of staff and said it was perfectly fine to take a seat at a table that wasn’t reserved. 15 minutes later blonde lady demanded payment of £20 per head for us just to keep the tables that other members of staff said was ok to have? Sort out management or at least be consistent with guests.

We made reservations in advance and had such a lovely experience. Great service, wonderful food and an awesome environment. Definitely stop by Lamb & Lion while in Bath.

We were glad to be able to watch the German Euros game despite Scotland playing at the same time, the Lamb&Lion offered both, accompanied with tasty beer and cider and very friendly staff. We really enjoyed spending our evening there.

As a group of 4 friends, we met for Sunday lunch and enjoyed great service, good food and lovely drinks at a reasonable price at this pub. The staff could not have been more helpful.

No idea what the food is like as we were not allowed in. Tried to go there for dinner (at 7pm, so not late) with my partner and 17 year old daughter. Turned away at the door because it was over 18s only. Can understand when pubs do this later in the evening, but don’t advertise all your pub grub on the internet and on boards outside when you are not operating as an inclusive restaurant/pub.

Travelling around the UK and I cannot access Kayo to watch F1. The Lamb and Lion pub in Bath advertised Canadian GP on the big screen. I asked the gentleman at the bar could he put it on the big screen earlier for the pre race show….and he did. Well done Lamb and Lion best Pub in Bath!! Oh and great Sunday Roast as well.

We got Sunday roast and burgers. All were excellent. Highly recommend!

Good food and atmosphere in the beer garden

Loads of options on the menu, it was so hard to choose. I had the fish & chips & it was great. Definitely recommended

Nice place to watch sport. Went for Sunday lunch, a few items of drinks and food weren't available. Food was pre cooked inches main, especially the small plates. Pretty average. Service was excellent

Amazing service from harvey at the bar. Working for stonegate ourselves we know how hard life behind a bar is. Harvey served us with a smile in his face. Food arrived fast and was hot. Really nice food good rellaxed vibe to the venue. Top service from harvey. Top man!!

The staff was extremely friendly. The food was amazing. I was in bath for a tour and walked by this place. I was so happy with the vegan options. I’m still dreaming of the vegan sticky toffee pudding.

Don't go if you're hungry!!! Ate tortellini. There were 5 pieces each. The small salad was of course very small and instead of green there were more dried tomatoes than anything else in it. They were already in the tortellini sauce and then edamame (soy) to save money. The drink prices are not on the menu... For us it's just NAP! The only good thing was the music!!!!

Nice old building with a modern interior. Very busy when I arrived. Usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Staff were friendly and helpful. An L shaped room with a small garden area. Big TV on the wall with the horse racing showing. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.

Called in here for lunch for quick meal while out shopping for 2 we both had hunters chicken and it was very good will call in again

The staff in this pub are brilliant, from entering the pub the service was spot on. The food is amazing. I think there garden has got to be one of the best beer gardens I have ever seen. TV screens everywhere and the garden is always clean. Great boozer.

Good pint of beer. Lousy food, came in for the roast and the portion of protein was truly sad, plus it wasn't even tasty... the yorkies were good though. The place is nice, has a nice garden.

Nice spot to enjoy an outdoor pint in the sun. Although will say the queue for drinks/ordering was extremely long and the food we had - lamb burger - was pretty mid.

Chose this after reviews online and wanted to watch football match tonight. Chilli cheese bite delicious, classic chicken burger and chicken tikka also fab definatrly recommend food. Staff very friendly and welcoming would highly recommend this will be back

Nice place to pop in after a walk around Bath, nice big place with plenty of seating good food and polite staff.

Ordered two burger sets, one chicken tikka masala and one fish and chips. Drinks were served first and food came after 20 minutes. Good food quality and reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Great pub we stumbled over while visiting Bath. Staff are happy and helpful. This has also got to be in my top 3 places to have a mixed grill. The flavour and quality of meat were amazing.

Was there Saturday night and the way we was treated was disgraceful.we came into the pub and got are drinks and was unsatisfied with 1 that we asked for it to be changed and again. We then get asked to leave from the doorman who did not know his job as he dont normally do the door he said. Another door man came and was very aggressive at the time to my friend into which we said we have done nothing wrong and we are not leaving.5 mins later the street security turned up who were ok and we explained the situation we had and they was baffled and they would speak to staff then we was asked to leave as we was not getting served anymore.Also what went on within the pub was totally unexpectable

I don't usually go to pubs, but my experience at the Lamb and Lion was wonderful! They had amazing food, great drinks and absolutely lovely staff! Will definitely come back.

Came here with my wife and children for a family meal. From the moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was very nice and really good value. The pub looks clean and tidy and has lots to offer. We will be returning. Martin and family.

Had a wonderful time today on a bfeif day trip with my partner. All the staff were lovely and couldn't fault them. I couldn't decide what I wanted and they were very helpful and informative so I could make my decision. Will definitely return when I'm back that way. Thanks guys.

6 of us had a Sunday roast here on Easter weekend. The service we received was very good, we didn't wait long and the food was very nice, at a very reasonable price. Harvey was sure to keep us fed & watered as were the other staff. The footy was on too so the atmosphere was lively especially with the favourable result! I'd recommend this pub for food and drinks to anyone visiting Bath.

Very good food. Fast service. It was fairly busy, and we had our food in less than 15m. I visited a few pubs in the centre on my work trips and so far this is the best one 👌

Disguising customer service. Even heard a member of staff swearing about another customer! Had I know they would have been so rude I wouldn’t have given them any of my custom!! Didn’t eat there, and left as soon as I could. Hospitality at its worst. They are lucky to still be open!

Can't really fault anything from our experience. Would definitely go back for pub food. Staff are all lovely and that's the main thing.

New to the area + was exploring. Popped in for Sunday lunch, on the offchance - they were pretty busy but I got a table ok. Food was first rate + service was excellent. A little noisy but the footie was on, so to be expected. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience + would thoroughly recommend the place.

We had table booked for six nations, not enough bar staff and twenty people deep at the bar meant we left after 30 minutes

Busy pub on the day I visited, screens everywhere showing the 6 Nations. Very loud, as one would expect. Good choice of beers and cider at reasonable prices. Food was reasonably priced too although I didn't try any. Decent sized beer garden too, but there are even screens out there too!

My Wife and I returned here today, usually She has lunch here with her friend but sometimes we get here together. Five star rating will never be enough!

Day out in Bath today. Called in the Lamb and Lion for lunch (beef sub with fries and a pint) . Food was top rate, staff were polite, friendly and very helpful (they carried my drink out for me as I use a walking stick). Spotlessly clean in all and areas, a great atmosphere and will definitely be calling in again. Thank you all at the Lamb and Lion 😊. Fantastic
