*** I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PUB *** I've lived in Edmonton for 45 years, and I've never been to this pub because I had heard bad stories about it. Recently, I'd heard that it has been taken over by a new owner and apparently is now a much nicer place. I decided to find out for myself and walked in on Saturday evening. To my surprise, it turned out to be a very welcoming pub. The staff were great... The customers were friendly, and there was a great atmosphere. The new owner is a lady called Amy, and she has definitely turned this place around. She doesn't put up with any crap. The first sign of any riff raff and she'll get rid of them. My intention was just to go in for one pint at 8pm, but I ended up leaving at 1am! All in all, it was a fab night. If you're looking for a family-friendly place that welcomes you and makes you feel comfortable, then I'd highly recommend this place.

Guinness is one of the best about, the Irish folk bands and pianist they have on some nights are brilliant and a real joy to have a drink to and always put a smile on my face anyway

Last night there was an "important announcement" by the Karaoke lady ..."Would Mr JPM please go to the bar"...I jumped out of my seat then find out my Debit Card had been handed in ...I didn't know I'd lost it. A Big "Thank You" to all concerned...and Amy who immediately took the lead. I'm indebted to you all. Thank you very much.

There's not much going on now. Went there after a few years it's gone downhill. It's a shame it used to be a great place to meet friends after work, and weekends were lively with food and music... the bar staff have no manners and are not very welcoming. The smoking area is right in front of the entrance with cigarette butts all over the place, and the stink is awful.. I can go on, but it's such a shame...

Pub dirty, toilets never cleaned and tables always dirty ,bar staff never clear dirty glasses from tables ,Tables always sticky from spilt drinks ,disabled toilet is a absolute disgrace, kids running around the pub on a Friday and Saturday night like it's a play ground, staff in there are rude and have no customer service,manager is never around to sort out trouble, manager always looks like hes just got out of bed ,The pub is a complete disgrace and so is the manager that runs it,the pub hads gone down hill drastically, the cleanliness of the pub is a absolute disgrace and hasn't seen a hoover or mop for weeks, a top boss definitely needs to look into this and the way this pub is being run !!!!

Change the staff urgently most rudest impolite I’ve ever seen. Manager has kids hanging off of her. Guys can come and no do as they please . Dogs etc etc. have a look genuinely

A fantastic pub, a true local's local. A great range of beers, real ales, and ciders. Live music on the last Friday of the month and karaoke/ disco every Saturday night. Seven TV's for the sport and all run by a great couple (Steve &Jen) and a great team of barstaff. Firmly recommended if you're in the area.

Great atmosphere everyone was so friendly staff very welcoming was served by Holly she was great. Place was clean and music was good. Prices were decent Too. I’m a new regular now cheers Steve and the Lambettes

Quite frankly a super rude service considering I've been in multiple times. I had my drink taken from under me when there wers multiple other drinkers still I'm the front bar and the five (three on the other table and one extra on mine) still had there's. When I asked why that was the case I was told we'd been asked multiple times to vacant the premises (and told last orders were at 11:30, I know I ordered in time and it's different from the last three sips of my drink thanks). Saw the guy taking shots at 11:30 with his fellow bar staff and unless the band was 15 ppl large that's a stretch that everyone in there was the band members. Would'nt have minded but his quite frankly dickheadish behavior to me asking why he took my drink and no one else's yeilded no results but rudeness and an explanation that he'd told us to leave more than once ( he hadnt) and that it was now past midnight (12:03am when they close at 12:00 yet there were still more than 20ppl in there. ) Having been in multiple times I shan't be returning. T**t. Have a good Christmas to the rest of the team.

Popped in for a quick catch up with friends and to get out of the cold. Lovely little place. Staff were friendly and the toilets were clean and well maintained (always a good sign of a well run pub in my eyes). Would definitely pop in again next time I'm in the area.

We went to this pub to watch the world Cup football. A great pub with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were all friendly . We will return again when in the area.

Visited here on Saturday night whilst staying over in London after the Challenge Cup Final. Id been in touch during the week enquiring whether they were showing the Champions League Final and asked about booking a table. Arrived before the start of the game and a table was already reserved with brilliant views of the many screens. Drinks were great and the prices where amazing!! Special thanks to the manager Robert for his help and hospitality it made our night, a night I would have stayed a lot longer had I not had to drive back up t'North the day after!! If your in the area then I highly recommend a visit here.

Este es un gran lugar para reunirse con amigos para tomar una caña después del trabajo o en el fin de semana. Ambiente acogedor, buena selección de cervezas.

No muchos de estos pubs se fueron en Londres. Buena cerveza, buen ambiente no es bueno en oferta. Perfecto. De hecho, si quieres comer, puedes utilizar uno de los restaurantes locales y traer el tuyo, que es una gran idea. Altamente recomendado.

This is a great pub which is very atmospheric, is very darkly lit and has some really great beer as well as delicious sodas made in Hackney. The BoHo bitter was only £1.95 a half. They really need to sort out the toilet though - original 1970s is not a good look.

This place is only open later in the day and it is very dimmly lit so looks closed. Once inside you will find a great old style pub with modern furniture and serving a good range of quality real ales. The Wit from Camden brewery was a tasty pint and something a little bit different. The crowd in here is young and the music relaxed.

Two great characters -- Roz and Ade -- run this independent pub. The Lamb is traditional in the way that most pubs that call themselves that are not. There is nothing fake or false about it -- the bars have never been tarted up or sanitised, I assume there has been the occasional lick of paint, but only a lick, and the beaten up floor is a work of art. There is a wide range of recorded (but never too loud) and live music. The beers are good, the Guinness is well kept, but there's no food. Which is a blessing because the brilliant 129HRD is on the other side of the Holloway Road. Or there's an arrangement for pizzas to be delivered from a takeway. The Lamb doesn't open until 4pm -- Ade says there's no business before then -- which is a great time to drop in for a quiet drink. The turbulent Holloway Road -- just feet away -- seems in another world. The pub livens up later in the evening, but never becomes impossibly loud. Get down there now for a pint or two!

Great pub, great atmosphere. Love it here. If you're lucky there will be a band in the corner playing irish folk music.

Been going to this pub for a number of years and never thought of writing a review. Strange when it is one of our locals. Great pub and atmosphere with some of the most welcoming staff around. Can't fault this place at all which is the reason we return. Sitting listening to the session band playing Irish and Scottish tunes is a great touch and very entertaining. Try and get to the night with Dave on the keys. The indie music is right up our street. Roz, you run a great pub!

I must have walked passed this place more than 100 times but have never been in as it looks so dark and dingy from the outside. I decided to persevere and pop in for a pint and was very pleasantly surprised. This place is quirky, painted mainly black inside with a distressed appearance - but in reality is an old school pub frequented by locals serving great beer in a friendly and welcoming atmoshere. I am told that the FRench Bulldog 'Cobbler' is the unofficial pub dog and I spent a lot of time rolling his ball for him across the floor. I did not see any food on offer but it was a Sunday early evening so they might just not serve food at that time.

So much love for this pub. Brilliant atmosphere, good beer on tap. Staff always friendly, and the dog picture all in the back are beyond amazing. Little gem of a place, comfortable, homily and fun.

A nice, true English pub/restaurant with great and friendly service and beer served to perfection, I had a great time here and next time I visit Arsenal's stadium, I'll stop by the Lamb as well.
