Costa Coffee in Islington

The staff was so friendly. Especially Shubham ,natasha and Ashish was so good.

Bad atmosphere. It’s big but due to the placing of furniture it feels smalls. But the worst part is people are always staring at you it’s uncomfortable not matter if your man or women. I think this place is only for locals because if you’re not they are angry.

Very good atmosphere, quick service and great treatment from Miss Alexandra who helped me a lot to choose my order and feel comfortable.

Worst Costa!!! First time I went in i got given the wrong drink and the staff were extremely rude. Came back for a second time today, asked specifically if they have a bacon bap they said yes, ordered the breakfast bap and coffee deal. Then after paying and waiting for 15 mins I get told they don’t have a bacon bap only sausage which I didn’t want. I was then told that the staff didn’t know how to process a refund so my only choice was the sausage bap or something else which I didn’t want!!!!!

I obviously like this place ,I really would say all the staff whom work there very good and friendly ,so I highly recommend that place if you would like spend sometime you take a good drink with family or friends there you see. *good service with a smile,massive space,clean and shiny place I really appreciate it .

Only actually went in as I was looking for a bathroom, the 2* are for the friendly and polite employee who unlocked the bathroom door for me. I then ordered an Iced Oat Latte as it felt like I should buy something while there. Was mind blown to be charged £4.40 for what turned out to be one of the worst iced coffees i think i’ve had. Honestly completely extortionate.

Tables dirty, toilet filthy, and a weird man drinking bottles of wine by the bathroom, hadn't bought anything, was harassing customers. Staff left him and didn't bother to resolve the issue and instead tip toed round him. We had to leave because of him and notified staff again when we were leaving and she just ignored us.

Order croissants almond and plain and I got different things altogether 🙁

We ordered 3 things, one of them was forgotten 🙈 the tables are not taken down at the same rate as the guests would use them. The cookies and kv, however, are very delicious! 🥰

Quick and bang on time delivery, however the restaurant gave me stale pasteries but luckily the coffee was decent so not to have a bad morning.

Staff refused to make coffee or take orders from customers 15 minutes before closing they always say we already closed the coffee machine .

This place never gets cleaned. It looks poorly look after and smell..

I was told to go back to Africa,and was verbally abused,for the prices in the shop you would think the staff would be trained correctly when dealing with customers as our money pay there wages.

I went into to get a coffee. The menu on the wall didn't have any of the drinks prices. It had video ads running with frappes and the latest drinks. The service was not good, they seemed annoyed I requested to see the drinks menu, in order to see prices and ignored me when I said thank you. The coffee was ok. Honestly there's no reason to go here with so many options around here. To be honest, I don't blame the bad service so much on the staff but on the deeply rooted inhumane profit-driving force that is Costa, that seem to think it's ok to dazzle your eyes with ads when all you want is to see what your pennies can afford. Skip if you can.

Great coffee shop with nice baristas.

Perfect spot to spend free time afternoons. Max is the best team member. I see him looking after the customers when in store.

Awful service. Made me feel discomfortable that I’ve asked for “less hot latte.” Both started laughing while making my less hot latte and repeated 2 times “less hot” while making it.

Terrible place. Many people couldn't go to the toilets because of the smell. You feel like eating in the toilets. Dirty tables. Not what you expect from a Costa coffee shop.

The place was dirty, stains every where. Sugars on a full bin. Service was poor. I wont go in there again

I went for a Coffee here with a friend on match day, around 11.30/12 noon. firstly the place was not particularly busy yet it was filthy! Some tables you couldn't even sit at because there was so much debris on and underneath them. The staff seemed disinterested and were very slow to serve. The bin was full and the area to use for putting in your sugar and where stirers are stored (which was behind the dirty bin, very unhygienic) was a disgrace. I always use this shop on match days but l won't be using it again. Not happy 😡

Lovely Costa coffee store with amazing staff. Everyone is kind and helpful. Really efficient service and warm decor. Good outdoor seating to watch the world go by. Lots of seating inside too. Had my usual vegan soya hot chocolate.

2020 19 visit Manager was fit friendly and other staff were fabulous and informative. Such a shame its gone, i loved it in there.

I am an avid Costa client. Unfortunately, the order this time was really unsatisfactory. The coffee was cold and spilled. The order was not labelled. Hugely disappointed.

today i ordered two butter croissant and they sent me almond crossaint and this has happened before. only disappointment.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I asked for an iced flat white, and waited 16 (counted) minutes for it, not to mention how they failed the order three times. First one I almost got a normal flat white, second one was an iced black, third time I finally got the iced flat white, but no ice in it. To think people are incompetent to make a coffee with milk and nice and not to mess it up after 3 chances

Staff are amazing but pleaassseee just get a new GM for this place the issues continuously occurring is non of the staff's fault, their over there clueless of what is happening and there taking the blame getting shouted out by customers, it really isn't fairness and the GM is never to be seen around actually is it? I live next door and the not once have I seen a manager for the past probably been at the start of the year by now. And yet still manages to do a great job!

Restaurant sent a complete wrong order. And didn't answer when I called to complain and or rectify my order. Paid for food I could not consume. Not impressed!!!

Was served promptly by a friendly young lady (the one with curly hair) and tried one of the new velvet lattes - highly recommend!

It might be more of a two star rating on a one time visit but I have been here a few times because its convenient and its honestly been terrible every time. We should stop going but it's right before the station so super convenient and we only go occasionally in the hope it has improved. So far it has yet to do so. A couple of examples of this are as follows. Asked to have the new hot cross yum hot chocolate and was told they don't serve it. When I pointed to the huge screen behind them advertising that they do, they tried to cobble one together that was so horrendous I spat it out and binned it immediately. Served hot chocolates that have been so watery it didn't even taste of chocolate, ones without additional cream that was asked for, and ones that were barely luke warm. Once we ordered and several people who were served after us received theirs and left. After a while my partner politely enquired about the order the server had the gall to be rude about it because it had disrupted their conversation. Went in 30 minutes before close and the staff were standing around chatting, briefly stopping to tell us they were closed. When we pointed to the sign saying they should be open and they repeated that they weren't and went back to their conversation. I'm not a massive fan of Costa in general as the coffee isn't great and I've seen my lactose intolerant friend be ill several times when they served her dairy after she asked for oat milk very clearly. This is definitely the worst one I've been to though as it is consistently poor service.

It is the second time time that I am missing items in my delivery. I ordered 2 caramel brownies and the 2 times that I ordered it was missing one of them.

Too dirty, dirty empty cups everywhere, very dirty sugar section. The bathroom is also dirty... The place was actually empty when I went, so there is no reason not to clean it up a bit...

Americans know how to ruin a brand. Now become the McDonald’s of coffee as owned by Coca Cola. Anyone wanting a half decent coffee I recommend Cafe Zee opposite side of road.

Quite a large Costa and very convenient location 2 mins from Holloway Rd station. I was serve by one girl who didn't ask me if I had a Costa card but asked the next customer. Why not ask every customer?

Very bad customer service from Alexandra .. Ive ordered small cortado and asked for cup of hot water as I was Sick she say you have to order tea to give you water !!!!!!!!

Some of my order was missing (flakes & marshmallows) to go with my hot chocolate and to be honest I was disappointed with that.

Quite busy but a relaxed feel to the place & a favourite with locals for passing the time. Friendly helpful staff & well looked after on the whole.

It was great it even came early and it was a great drink.

I have been accompanying my friend to Costa Coffee and am excited about the service. I’m not a coffee drinker, so Stephany suggested a Chai Tea Latte and that is sooo Yummie! Thank you! I will definitely come back soon! BTW my friend is also happy with your service staff, I think her name was Alex? All in all, I fell in love with Costa 😄

I have had a wonderful experience in this place. Stephany advised me to try a new flavor and it was amazing so I really enojoy the service. Good look with the music Steph !

Good space and Coffe, Good WiFi and all support and assistence for the corona virus rules. Not many plugs for energy but has a big space.

I am very sorry for this feedback, but I just had to put it out, so you managers speak to your staff any learn them to talk in silence at the till, I understand they enjoy each other company and want to share they own day plans, but I came in to enjoy a drink not to listen they own stories, which I waaaaaaay to loud to ignore. Please dear managers, please and thank you, talk to them to share their own plans in silence. Worst experience ever, today on 13 of November at 13:03pm. Hope to get heard Thanks

Ok. Just your normal Costa. There is a cafe opposite called Zee that is much much better and cheaper.

The service was not on point. I ordered a hot chocolate and after she took my order I said I have a costa membership QR code and I showed her my phone. She replied "you could say first". Also the hot chocolate was warm not hot and not sweet at all. I regularly visit Costa and It's always satisfactory. This place however I will not come back to.

The most awful iced coffee. Ever. It was still warm. Sent it back. Staff offered something else which was OK but if you're going to advertise iced coffee on your menu, know how to make it.

It's a good place to pass an hour watching the world go by. Seems to be a cut above the other Costas in my area and the girls provide a friendly efficient service.

Drive through makes life worth living

Nice small quiet place, very good to work and spend some time. Service was quick, personnel has very nice attitude. Recommend this place.

The service and the hot chocolate where 100% as was the chocolate Brownie... Sat outside to a dreadful smell of sewage... A shame
