Filthy & McNasty in Islington

I have been coming to this friendly place for a while now and the manager is welcoming, the staff are great however I want to mention one person, who makes the best hot or cold drink, very patient, professional, knows his role his name is ‘khalid’’ he makes the best cold drink my favourites, just ask he will make it perfect for you! Thank you costa Holloway team you are amazing,Ethiopian and Eritrean people love that place, it reminds you of home!

This is our go-to destination for their wonderful and consistent coffee courtesy of their excellent barista team. Very friendly and knowledgeable baristas who know their coffee well – flat white is always perfectly texturised and velvety with luxurious microfoam and subtle creamy taste. Despite their skills, the team are really down to earth and welcoming without the attitude that typifies so many London artisan coffee joints. Anika the owner is always charming and hospitable – its obvious she genuinely cares about her customers and the place has a real community vibe.And if that wasn’t enough, they have just appointed a new chef, who has already created some culinary masterpieces. Not often I get excited about porridge but I am now addicted to his porridge with mince pie chutney concoction. And their cheese toastie with nduja is out of this world – literally oozes flavour - words won’t do it justice – you just have to try it for yourself!

Yesterday afternoon after 5pm: entry and exit immediately. Although the place was popular, it was not clean, the tables and floor were dirty, there was a bad smell in the room, and the person behind the counter was busy with his smartphone.

Great Pret with great staff. Has seating inside. Lots of snacks, sandwiches, treats,drinks, coffee and teas.
