Great little eatery on the edge of Earlswood Lakes. Fairly comprehensive menu, excellent coffee, small but very good vegetarian/vegan selection. Ice cream also sold. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Reasonable prices too. A healthy queue every time I visit the lakes which is always a good thing. No competition because they the only franchise on site but they keep their game tight. Highly recommended if you're in the area for decent food and/or drinks. Open 08.00 till 16.00 (08.00 till 17.00 in summer) every day of the year except Christmas day. Big up the ladies of the lakes.

I had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional establishment that truly stands out for its top-quality food and outstanding service. The atmosphere was inviting and conducive to a wonderful dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable meal. The coffee was nothing short of remarkable, and the bacon roll was the best I've ever tasted. Each bite was a delightful combination of flavors, and the presentation was equally impressive. Overall, this venue exceeds expectations and is a must-visit for food enthusiasts.

Bog standard by what i saw, dont think of a nice relaxing cuppa when theres hoards of hyped up rude foul mouth kids bouncing around high on the rubbish from the local mcdonalds & this place , not to mention the odd dogger in the car park i stopped of from a trip from cornwall back to eastbourne , never again. Saw people tipping there drinks away too. Just becareful if your a lone traverler as this place is a hot spot for weirdos.

Ideally situated between a free car park and the twin lakes of Earlswood Common. Recently built, there is a wide variety of cafe style food. If you were going to pick someone up at Gatwick, it would a good place to stop, eat and rest up. There are toilets in a separate small block adjacent.

Firstly the good bits - nice location, nice staff, convenient and seating available. The food was hot and tasty. Now for the bigger problems. Firstly, one of the menu boards displayed prices which were cheaper by about 50p per item that the main board on the cafe. Secondly, the burgers are advertised as coming with lettuce and tomato on a toasted bun. We received a burger and a dry bun so not as advertised. This was priced at £6 (or £5.50 if you looked at the other menu board). I am sure there are regulations around this sort of stuff with trading standards but i'm no expert in that. I'm afraid I left feeling ripped off.

Popped in for a break with my brother for a cuppa. Beautiful view of the lakes and Swans. Grim watery coffee and see through tea. £5 for that treat. We wondered if the Swans could make a better cuppa with the pond water?

Had a really nice salted caramel and funky banana double scoop ice cream, no serviette so she was handling the cone with her bare hands, hope they were clean 😅. Can't comment on any hot food because I didn't have any.

Great cafe located at earlswood lakes. Really handy after a nice walk. Good selection of hot sandwiches and rolls as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Also do doggy ice creams. Benches nearby to enjoy your food whilst looking out over the lakes and the swans.

I came here for the first time a bacon roll (no complaints) and a flat white coffee (£3 !) .The coffee was so weak it hardly had any taste .I asked whether I could have another shot of coffee, but was told I would have to pay for it ! When I said "don't worry , leave it " she then offered to put some "instant" coffee in the cup .She then suggested that it needed stirring as it was a "milky coffee " . At this point I gave up .....if you want decent coffee go elsewhere !

Nice staff but had to review as had worst cup of tea of my life! Bizarrely saw my cup being taken out of the microwave and was given tea which had barely had a tea bag dipped in. It was basically lukewarm milk! Went back to complain but the queue was so long that I just tipped the tea away instead. Not sure why boiling water wasn't used and tea bag left in to decide my own strength.

I had the pleasure of interacting with Fatima and Jenna, the receptionist, during my recent stay, and their service was truly exceptional. Fatima and Jenna was polite, professional, and incredibly patient, even while managing multiple guests simultaneously. They were warm demeanor and attention to detail made the check-in process seamless and stress-free. They were went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and even provided helpful suggestions to enhance my stay. It’s rare to encounter such a high level of professionalism paired with genuine kindness. Both of them are true asset to the hotel, and I highly recommend them outstanding service!

Like all Grinds, it is modern. Great for cocktails, but equally the food is great! Good for groups as well as smaller parties.

Be cautious when visiting this pub, as what appears to be its car park is actually owned by a third-party company, Smart Parking. Despite spending money on food and drinks, I later received an unexpected parking fine—part of what seems to be a questionable practice by Smart Parking (a quick look at their reviews confirms similar experiences). It’s disappointing that a village pub would associate with such arrangements, especially for someone visiting from Australia. To make matters worse, there’s no clear warning about this when you enter the pub, and the signage isn’t prominently displayed. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
