Absolutely love it! ♥️💪 We’ve had the pleasure of dining at Le Raj Restaurant numerous times since our first visit in September. Now that we’re back, we feel so fortunate to enjoy their delicious Gujarati food as takeout at home! We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Le Raaj and I can't stop raving about the Achari Gosht! The lamb was perfectly tender, melting in my mouth with every bite.If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on trying the Achari Gosht. It's a must-have that will leave you craving more!

I had a great time visiting Le Raj Restaurant and enjoying my meal again. The food was excellent, and there were many dishes to choose from. I recommend trying the "house special chicken tikka curry" prepared in Punjabi style.

I absolutely adore this place! The staff are highly professional, the service is outstanding, and the food is incredible and always perfect.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant; it has a lovely atmosphere, and the waitstaff are quite friendly. I prefer not to go anywhere else to avoid any disappointment. I've been a regular and even order takeout from here, with the delivery service being excellent as well.

Got a takeaway on a Saturday night. Naan bread and popadoms were nice but the curry’s lacked any flavour and it was as if they were ran out of base sauce so diluted what they had with water as the sauce was very thin and flavour just wasn’t there. This place is a shadow of what it once was, we used to be regular visitors when the dad owned the restaurant, a good number of years ago the son took over and it really has gone down hill. I dine in or get a takeaway every year or so maybe, in the hope it’s got better and the food standard is restored to what it was but I’m afraid to say it hasn’t and after this takeaway will probably be the last time. Interior and service is always spot on, but I visit for the food.

Have eaten here many times as always enjoy food. However we decided to order selection of starters rather than main course and was told by waiter we had to order a main. Since when and why!!! We refused and eventually but reluctantly he said it would be OK. If this happens again I would not go back. Bill was still over £70

First visit with wife and friends and was very impressed. The actual restaurant inside is very impressive and the service was excellent. The food was so so good with a great variation, prices a little bit more expensive than normal but worth it, maybe a special occasion venue. Will be going back very soon.

The starters I have tried here are good. I think the star item is the cinnamon smoked chicken. Everything about this item is good, the presentation, the taste, the after taste... Service: Good, every one in the serving staff are well mannered and eager to help. Atmosphere is good but I personally don't prefer if there is not enough light; the music is a bit boring for me

We waited bang on ONE HOUR for our food on saturday night. Staff were nice and the decor is nice but one hour for food ? We told multiple staff this but no one seemed to do anything about it, even had the cheek to add gratuity to our bill. Multiple people asked how everything was and we said well we waited so long for our food so not great yet nothing was done, why ask if youre not going to do anything about it ? Would not come back, food is extremely bland aswell. Only good thing was the sweets at the end…

Imagine you’re with your young family enjoying epsom for the day and it’s dinner time and fancy a curry. Le Raj had decent reviews so we opted for that and it was empty. Alas, we weren’t allowed in as I and my son was wearing shorts. I am 40 odd but he was 3 at the time. Pathetic.

Just amazingly tasty fresh quality food, and spot on delivery service, why would you go anywhere else? Thank you all at Le Raj.

Good evening, I’ve been eating at La Rage since he’s been opened and was a good friend of Owner and still our friends of his children ordered a meal tonight as I returned from France always look forward to the lovely food was very disappointed by the late service delivery and was very disappointed with the foodhad a lamb which was very dry and had a lamb which was very dry the oval quality. I am very upset to say was poor as this was one of the best restaurants in Surrey. Thank you all Lord Boulter

We have eaten at Le Raj several times - on our own and with friends - and the food, presentation and service is always excellent. It is also the only Indian restaurant we order takeaway from. Best onion bhajis ever. We've been happy customers for several years. Highly recommended.

Fine dining restaurant. Nice decor, a bit darker inside. The staff are very nice and the service was quick. We were the only people in the restaurant. Not child friendly at all. No high chairs. They opened the bottled water without asking us first. Food wise, the poppadams were good along with the assorted condiments. The chapatis were good. The daal had a little too much garlic, was otherwise ok. The paneer was a pinkish in colour, something i have never seen before. The rice was ok. All in all, the food was average. If i had other options, I wouldn’t eat here.

Ordered a takeaway to celebrates mums birthday. First time ordering, food arrived piping hot and in good time. The food was amazing, the best we have had in a long while, will be back!

Before everything was perfect until Christmas we didn't have a menu to choose what we want we were like kids in a boading school, we all had the same food big disappointed and it wasn't cheap food over £100

This was amazing! I tried the tandoori chicken and absolutely loved it! I fell inlove with the onion Bhaaji and the chicken tikka was on the spot!

The finest restaurant for miles around. The food never disappoints, the staff always willing to go that extra furlong to enhance your experience. We went for the mid day service. Delightful.

Well, generally i have been visiting this restaurant twice a month. And this is because their accomplished food, good service and beautiful locations. Some of my favorite dishes like e-nan bread with shatkora lamb and tikka masala i will never forget the test in my whole life.

The atmosphere and ambience on entrance and throughout the evening was classy. The staff were superb, and the meals were served to us within a good time. I don't really have anything bad to say, but I felt the food was quite average, considering the pricing and hype around the restaurant. Although the presentation was great, I wasn't blown away by any of it, and I can't say I'm itching to go back. Overall, it was alright, but I probably won't go back again. You're paying more for the experience rather than the food, in my opinion. Thanks.

Visited Le Raj about two weeks ago and was beyond my expectations. On arrival we sat in the lounge drinking beer and Prosecco while waiting on another guest. There was a perfect ambience and the staff were very welcoming and friendly too. The main restaurant was set out really beautifully and the lighting was great. Service continued to be exceptional as we had starters and then mains which were the perfect portion and tasted amazing. When we finished up, we got some cocktails which tasted better then actual cocktail bars. Best pina colada I’ve ever had! Will be returning for birthdays and celebrations again in future!

Ordered online and the meal was delivered hot in 40 minutes. Lovely packaging and very friendly delivery. The food was really-really good! Delicious little crispy samosas and very tasty high quality dishes. Light and aromatic, not generic and heavy. Good portion sizes. It is slightly pricey but well worth it for the quality! This is not a bog standard el cheapo curry house.

Took my wife and son last night . I could only afford 2 poppadoms 2 mains and 2 chappaties between the three of us. With the cheapest bottle of red, my bill was £80 . Pretentious and overpriced we left hungry .sorry. Guys I'm not used to these prices

Had heard good things about this restaurant, and wasn't disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, from a warm greeting, attentive service, well presented and great tasting food (clearly, everything from the popadum, to the nann are made in house) and the ambience of the restaurant, all were above expectation. I was impressed, and would return. Food maybe lacked a touch of salt, but that's to my taste and salt provided on tables. Could not fault, and do not understand bad reviews of this establishment.

My wife and I visited having heard many good reports. Service was appalling. Waiters were miserable and unfriendly. The main guy was good but out of his depth with the overall running of the restaurant. Took an age to get a drink and then we were not offered another all night except for when I stopped a waiter and asked him to get one for me. Food to be honest was okay. My duck starter was drowned in lemon and lime and couldn’t taste duck at all. 3/10. My main a fish dish with E naan could best be described as a spicy fish finger sandwich. Highlighted bad customer service to manager who removed the service charge and promised to contact me to arrange a better experience to make up for the evening. I even sent an email to remind him of my contact details. Nothing received in response. On a positive. A great Negroni.

Yesterday myself & My partner had taken some time out to Visit: Le Raj to have a celebrational Meal, this wouldn’t be out first visit to this Indian restaurant based in Epsom. Admittedly it’s not the most affordable as far as an Indian restaurants is concerned. That being said it is always well prepared dishes & very polite customer services which for me both go a long way. Desert this time Round wasn’t the best kulfi as normally it’s very creamy it was almost like it had been repeatedly Re-frozen but overall good Experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Regards William.

Last night i been the restaurant with my friend.we had tandoori mixed grill, pilau rice and e nan.all fresh food and freshly cooked.dinner was delicious.I’m glad I had very good meal with my friend first time.also all the staff professionally welcome us and very friendly.very good customer service.i highly recommend.thanks to all the friendly staff

This is quite possibly the worst Indian food I have EVER had. Tasteless, dry and quite honestly not nice. If I could give it no stars I would. I’m not sure where they got all these awards and recognition. Horrendous. Save yourself money and disappointment and go to Dastaan!

We booked a reservation for 8:30 for my mothers birthday I had made the restaurant aware we was going to be late I then arrived earlier than what I told them I would be arriving at they had given our table away to someone else and said we had to wait an extra 30 mins for our table, the worst curry house I’ve ever been to also worst customer service I’ve experienced to

I have now called the Raj twice (my brother called from overseas also)and even turned up in person when passing by last Sunday en route to London, to discuss a birthday party on 12 March at the restaurant but have received no call back to date or indeed an email as I have been promised each time. Indeed, the gentleman who picked up on my second call could barely communicate in English and so clearly failed to communicate my request for a manager to call me. Appalling service and Zero stars (Ino posting possible for no stars).

Got a takeaway from Le raj on our return from Bulgaria. Work that one out. No photos. Food is always good here. Usually visit after a trip to our vets next door.

We opted for Le Raj this evening for my mothers birthday as we thought it would be a slightly more special experience than our usual Indian takeaway. Sadly, it did not deliver, as all of the dishes lacked depth of flavour. Whilst all of the food was clearly freshly made with natural, organic ingredients, the sauces were unfortunately lack lustre and watery. Whilst some may prefer the lighter, perhaps healthier style of cooking, it wasn’t the indulgent Indian dining experience we were after.

One of the better Indian restaurants in the Epsom area. Food was nice with a good blend of spices, well presented and reasonably priced. Had to wait a long time to get our courses. Would go again though.

High place Indian dinning. But at a price. If you are looking for somewhere special or can afford higher prices, then this is the place for you. Parking at times is a little constrained. Five stars for experience only i.e. excluding cost.

Outstandingly disappointing service for anywhere let alone this level of restaurant. Our main course, which we had to chase up on, took well over an hour to come and was missing several dishes. The staff were inattentive and the management were not in the slightest bit apologetic. We were not the only people dissatisfied so please don’t think this view reflects us being particularly picky. The food that we did get was good but spoiled by the service. Sadly I would not now recommend this restaurant to friends or anybody.

Treated appallingly for my Valentines meal. They happily took the booking but then gave my table away to, I guess, more valued customers. Back to square one on my valentines surprise thanks to these clowns. Not what you expect from a michelin star restaurant.

Le Raj is absolutely sublime, every ingredient tastes fresh and perfectly selected. No matter what you choose to have, it always tastes authentic and Michelin star. I have never had a bad experience with any dishes and cannot shout loud enough from any mountain top as to how good Le Raj is!!!

I made a booking yet no table booked. We did get a table very quickly however i showed the phone number and could prove i booked. No problem however after ordering we waited 1and half hours before any food came out and then it was our mains ( we ordered starters!) again all sorted however when mains reappeared it was not hot. Service was very slow and although starters taken of bill it was fairly embarrassing as we had chosen the restaurant to meet our friends. We were given a bottle of low alcohol gin and a rum to apologise however most were leaving with these bottles. Sadly I wont rush back which is so sad as had good meals in the past but i felt was average and expensive for what we had. A real shame ….

Have been a regular customer here. Accept that it's more expensive than other indian restaurants but you are paying for that difference. Last week however it was very poor ;to the extent that one diner thought it was the worst meal they had ever had there. Food wad sent back to the kitchen and the meals were just so average. I wrote to LeRaj a week ago but disappointingly haven't received a response. We won't be returning unless we receive an explanation.

I have been coming here for about 2 years with my husband and have always thoroughly enjoyed our meal After a day out with my sister we popped in for lunch and were not disappointed again. While we were there the restaurant was having photos taken for more awards they had received Well deserved in my opinion. This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to in my 60 years on this planet - and there have been one or two excellent ones. Service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Prices are competitive there is so much in a takeaway, (I have never actually dined there), that I can split it over 2 meals. Won't ever go anywhere else for Indian now.

Simply the best. I have eaten in restaurants all over the UK and Le Raj Restaurant is easily the best I have tried in 36 years. Every meal in the restaurant or as a takeaway is outstanding. I tell everyone I meet about this fantastic place.

First time here really nice staff amazing looking place, food quality is ok however it wasn’t the best for me as i have been to many places it can improve food looks amazing but not the best taste.

Just returned from a lovely evening here. The food was really nice. Especially liked the mango chutney! It a really great menu lots of choices and some different options to the average Indian restaurant. Very clean and has great decor inside. Good value too. Definitely will return and highly recommend it.
