An older Premier Inn that is a little dated. No aircon in the bedroom or razor socket in the bathroom, and the soap dispensers were a tad rusty and/or empty. The decor could do with updating. But ... on to the important stuff! ... the bed was comfy, the windows opened (yes!) there was a proper bath and the water in the shower was both hot and at a decent pressure. The bedside tables had USB charging points and the telly was a decent size. The free wi-fi was also acceptable, if a bit slow. All-in-all, I would happily stay here again.

Terrible Sunday roast . Rubbish and a non child friendly atmosphere on this occasion (Other guests swearing) Service wasn't up to standard. Boxing day pancakes were a joke not like the advert! Kids pizza meal was a like a £1 basic pizza from Tesco. Beef was nothing but fat! No offer of a free ice cream or token off the bill. Not like the old days. Won't be returning , no satisfaction query from any staff thereafter.

It’s an easy and short walk from the local train station, so despite being in a quiet area it’s also convenient. Checking in was an absolutely delight, with one of the friendliest members of staff I’ve encountered in a hotel and he immediately made me feel very welcome. My room was on the ground floor overlooking a disused garden area which helped keep the room quiet and give a silent night’s sleep. Although a typical Premier Inn room in design it did feel a little dated - the sofa bed was getting rather stained, there was mould on the reverse side of the curtain and most of the fixtures in the bathroom were showing signs of rust. The bed itself though was clean and comfortable and all the facilities worked well. I’d certainly consider staying here again if the price is right, and given the close proximity to the train station it makes for a decent but lesser known option for an airport stopover.

Absolutely disgraceful, disgusting filthy rooms, well overdue for a refurb. Mouldy sealant, grubby grout, filthy walls / furnishings and fittings. Actual faeces splattered across the board behind the toilet, toilet not cleaned as faecal marks also evident there. Window frames rotten, poorly fitted filthy secondary glazing, curtains grubby and poorly fitting, heating with a mind of its own. Damp smell throughout the room. Not just my room that was bad, my sister's was just as bad. Also, a massively bold assumption that someone in an accessible room must be in a wheelchair, as they provided no chair for the desk. An absolute disgrace to the the brand, this is by far the worst, book here at your peril.

Turned up and some one had been smoking in the room before I had booked in and there was a live electrical wire out the wall. Second room not all that better. Food all fried and restaurant is a dump food looks like it was cooked in muddy water.

I stay in quite a few Premier Inn hotels and you can never go wrong. Stayed here before and had a room in the main hotel, this time I was in the annex. The room felt the same as others. Nice and warm, comfy bed and good selection on the TV. The WiFi was a bit slow in the annex. As it not great deal of connectivity.

Went to the restaurant at The Mill House not the hotel. 5 stars are for that. Place was busy and took a while for food to come out but only to be expected on a very busy Friday evening.

Stayed here in October for 1 night. To catch flight later the next day. There is an adjacent Beefeater for breakfast and other meals. Very popular so at peak times booking is recommended.

Typical Premier Inn. I would have given 5 stars but our room (1) had a very noisy bathroom fan that took an age to switch off.

Stayed here a few times for business, usually decent and great beds but this time round the bathroom was dirty on the floor, mould on the bath and the bed sagged in the middle. Shame, usually a acceptable stay, but seems to have gone downhill

Usual premier inn standard for room which was good, but the location was very noisy. A lot of rooms are located right by the main road that leads down in between the main hotel buildings to the car park. Therefore, you hear all sorts at all times of the night from people leaving in their cars, arriving with suitcases or the odd car with loud music. Wasn't great, wouldn't recommend really apart for the distance to Gatwick.

Finally made it to Le Raj with friends last night. What a let down. After arriving in the reception area, we were asked if we would like drinks but these never arrived. After being seated at our table, we waited about another 10 minutes before having to ask where out drinks were. The table next to us had been vacated but not cleared and remained this way for around over an hour. Some of the food was good, some was not. I ordered a Duck Puri starter which was greasy and soggy and a cod main which was overly sweet and bland. Looking at the bill, 4 poppadoms are £13.60 (+10% service charge). Overall a disappointing experience, there are better options (Yaadein, Columbo Kitchen, Dastaan, Koyal) within relatively close distance that blow this place out of the water.

I am disappointed with the service at Chillies at Tattenham Corner. We were met with a lack of accommodation and, to make matters worse, the gentleman behind the bar was condescending. I have a Nut Allergy, and when we inquired about avoiding dishes containing nuts, one of the employees expressed concerns about cross-contamination due to the spices being sourced from India, which I appreciated as a valid concern for my safety and theirs. However, the man behind the bar then sarcastically suggested I could "just have chips." and laughed. We immediately left and went to another nearby Indian restaurant, where we received exceptional service and they went above and beyond to ensure my meal was nut-free. The treatment at Chillies was sadly disappointing.

Have visited in the past as a couple and the food has always been lovely. Yesterday visited with some friends as a table of 7 and the food and service was just as good! Definitely the best Thai food around the area! Will be back :)
