Order through Deliveroo and the driver left the order in someone’s garden. Neither the restaurant or deliveroo apologetic in any way so left to dispute the credit card charge. Do not order via deliveroo

Just had a takeaway from VB and will not be ordering from them again. Lukewarm, bland and completely uninteresting biryani - chutney that was fluorescent in colour and disgusting in flavour. Sorry but I cannot recommend this place.

Excellent food. Very recently under new management/ownership and they know what they're doing! It's bring your own alcohol too so that really brings the cost down! Will be going again!

Food was good ,service is efficient but its BYOB so you need to be prepared for that .There is a little convenience store or M&S nearby to buy your alcohol.

Everything spot on with flavour and value for money. It is traditional to eat here when family come from around the country and overseas. Always had great service in house and delivery. By far my/our go to Indian Restaurant since young.

Ordered through the Deliveroo app and took over two hours. I called the restaurant to ask for an update for the person on the phone to hang up whilst I was talking within 10 seconds. Poor customer service and the food was never delivered

We've been here a few times in the last year and it never disappoints. The food is always excellent - good range of dishes with great flavours. Rather than sticking to tried and tested dishes, I like to try something different when I go and I haven't had anything that wasn't absolutely delicious. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. If you're out and about in Reigate in the evening and haven't eaten here before, give it a try, it's well worth a visit.

I have had very nice meals when dining in but have now tried tskeaway 3 times and has been awful just very dried precooked chicken with sauce over ordered dopiaza and jalfrezi both tasted the same except jalfrezi had a few chillis thrown in

We came in at peak time on a weekend so found service to be a little slow, but once the food came it was worth waiting for. One of the best curries I’ve had recently. I’d recommend this place to any groups looking to have a curry for sure.

Had the family over for a takeaway. It's a consistently fantastic meal. Usually we would eat in but opted for a takeaway this particular time. It's just great, if ever you are stuck for a meal in Reigate, this brilliant place has everything you need and more to enjoy your night. My lamb Madras was lovely, the others all made a point of saying how good their meal was too. Be back very soon

Went a couple of weeks ago with my mates, another super visit. Had the Lamb madras this time with a garlic naan and some pilau rice. Service is always good and the waiter always remembers you and has a chat. Even if he is a man utd fan:) superb as always and highly recommend

I've been to this restaurant a lot of times ... and always the food is amazing ... very good ... and they change the menu for the new year ... and it's even better.

I visit this place quite regulalry and the service can be a bit hit or miss. However it ewas good on this visit with the staff being very attentive. Food was delicious and great atmosphere in here. £7 for a gin and tonic served in a small tumbler is a bit over the top but other than that, this place is worth visiting.

ordered a King Prawn Madras which came in a plastic container which was half emply. Only came with a few prawns and in a very watery sauce. I expected more when ordering a takeaway dish costing £9.95

I visited the restaurant with a group of friends and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There is a very cosy atmosphere inside and the staff are all very warm and welcoming. The food was very nice and affordable prices meant we could get a variety of dishes to share. I had a great experience at the restaurant and I'll definitely be coming back soon!

The cuisine and service was exceptional for me and my friends. The vibe inside was very warm and welcoming and was comfortable while we dined. We were recommended the new chicken kazhana and chicken sizzler dishes and they did not disappoint. Sometimes at restaurants you can get underwhelming garlic naan which ruins the experience of good Currys but I have to say the garlic naan in terms of size and taste were one of the best I had. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Great service, traditional Bangladeshi food. Great takeaway - very reliable and always hot and on-time. Also next door to Four Hops beer shop - and opposite Reigate Brewery - if you want to have a drink first.

Excellent menu with plenty of choice and, importantly, different dishes to choose from. The food was fresh and superbly cooked with a great use of herbs and spices so that you could properly taste the flavours.

Last night 17 (yes, seventeen) of us descended on this nice little Indian restaurant in Reigate to celebrate the end of our summer cycling season. Fortunately, we had booked, so they were pre-warned.

I have dined here numerous times and nearly always found the food fresher and more tasty than other curries anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable and the service friendly.

Me and my family had excellent evening meal,very good quality and amazing prices..only one thing I would say the rice and curry portions were bit too small,naan very tasty,paneer nice,prawn puri fabulous,mix tandoori grill excellent with a naan... lamb Bhuna was so tasty and lamb was tender..improve rice and curry portions please..Samosas were simply yummy...

My boyfriend and I tried Village Brasserie for the first time last week, and i have to say that the food was amazing, freshly cooked, and well presented. The service was excellent as well as friendly staff and the atmosphere was very good. On the whole it was a great value and I will be going back.

I revisited this indian again with 4 other diners, hoping it must have improved since last time. sadly, it hasn't. it was a Saturday evening and there were only 4 other small groups, so not busy, but takeaway side was constant. the service was extremely slow, with very long gaps inbetween, the waitress hardly acknowledged our exsistance either which was awkward to say the least. although we had waited ages to be served some of the dishes were obviously microwaved, as vey hot in places and cold in others. the best thing about the whole meal was the onion bhajees which were crisp and fresh. the restarant should be packed on a Saturday, but now I can understand why its not. what a dissappointment

Visited for the first time over the weekend and was simply stunned. The staff are so welcoming and warm, and we're willing to accommodate any of our requests, which made us feel really comfortable. The food, was simply the best Indian I've had in the area. The chefs really know what they're doing, rich, flavourful and just the right amount of spice and chilli. The piri-piri chicken was outstanding, I really enjoyed the Indian twist on this classic dish. Really looking forward to going back, thanks guys :)

Went here on goggles recommendation and left feeling disappointed. Mainly because the food tasted like it had been reheated and the cokes we had tasted flat by the time we had gotten halfway through them.

I have lived in Reigate for the past 25 years, and have dined in all of the indian restarants in the area. Since 1997, when they opened, Village Brasserie became my favourite restaurant in town. My favourite dishes are: chicken joy pur, rag murghi stick and imlidaar batak, The staff are very welcoming, helpful and professional. I have tried other indian restaurants in town, such as Clove, Golden Curry and Spice Guru, but I found that the food was not up to standards, ie: was very oily. I would like to thank all the staff at Village Brasserie for the delicious food and the excellent hospitality, at my wife's birthday party last weekend. It has truly left me with happy memories of that occasion. I would recommend Village Brasserie to anybody.

the restaurant sits in a quieter part of the town in a non pretentious part of this desirable and vibrant town of Reigate.. the ambience is one of subtle lighting and classical music - jazz piano drifting across the tables with walls inspiring taste, flavour and texture from the subject depictions of the paintings. The service is attentive yet unrushed. A great selection and variety of delicious appetisers, mains with many speciality dishes and complimentary accompaniments . The dishes are authentic classical types from all parts of India with many new recipes regularly included - these dishes are for the connoisseur, selected for a balance of spices and herbs delighting the palate. We have enjoyed many delightful visits to this family run restaurant .

Without a doubt best Curry in Reigate - baby squid is fantastic. Takeaway always hot and the same quality if you eat in.

I have been visiting VB for many years and the food is always excellent, never disappoints. The staff are very good. Sometimes there is a wait for the food but it's worth it to get your food freshly prepared. One of my favourite places in Reigate. Always great value.

I visited Village brasserie last monday night with my wife, the food had the finest taste off all the indians reataurants around Reigate, the service was quick and very proffesional and the decor of the resturant was amazing. Definitely highly recommend the restaurant. :)

4 of us visited on a Tuesday evening, only one other party was there. we had never visited here before. unfortunately the waiter mixed both our drinks order and food order, didn't wish to complain as there was obviously a language problem. the pickles/dips were of the cheapest ive ever had, over salted and otherwise bland. no chilli to be seen or tasted in the chilli paneer. over cooked onion bhagees, oily lamb sagg. bland keema naan. such a shame. we wont be going back.

Great food and attentive, polite staff - what's not to like?

A regular venue of ours with a number of staff in place for a number of years which guarantees good and knowledgable service. A varied menu with a number of specials, which are also changed fairly often. We have always enjoyed our meals here and it is both good value and very tasty. Service can suffer when busy.

I often go here with my mates and really like it. I really like the lam vindaloo and my friends love the dhansak. Ok, they did get his order wrong last time but mistakes happen and they changed it efficiently so that was fine. Pretty good value. A guaranteed good night

Have previously enjoyed a meal here but this time was very disappointed ! Unfortunately we had to send back the jug of water as obviously the lemon had been cut on the same board as onion ! We were the only two in the restaurant but had to call for attention. There was a new female waitress who had obviously had no training ! The food can only be described as average. Sadly not many positives !

Reserved a table for 26 people for my mums surprise birthday. Via email they were very communicative the whole time, asked for our meals in advance and offered a big group discount. Within half an hour the meals were ready and prepared.Couldn't have asked for a better service. The food - well it was amazing! So much left over though... everyone had a lovely meal. They even let me bring my own birthday cake, and they put music on when we all sang happy birthday! Let us take the cake home in boxes. Just very very helpful, amazing service and so friendly. What has happened to this restaurant? I am a semi regular visitor to this restaurant and it is usually very good. However I visited with some friends recently and the service was appalling. It was quite busy in the restaurant, but the staff seemed overwhelmed by takeaway orders. Not sure if this restaurant has recently signed up to one of these online takeaway websites but the service has suffered in recent times.We arrived at 8pm and were not even given menus or asked if we wanted drinks, for an hour. The food was very nice (when it finally came) but the staff were largely absent and too busy dishing out takeaways to worry about the patrons in the restaurant itself. We had to call for a waiter several times.Have always enjoyed this place but not sure if I'd return based on this experience.
