Lovely owners and decent options for vegan or veggie breakfast. Dog friendly too! Cheap and cheerful, filling and delicious.

Perfect local cafe with an old school community vibe. The service is always friendly and rapid, the food and coffee are hot and tasty, and the prices are excellent.

Lovely wee cafe. We had a full Scottish breakfast and it was delicious. Food was hot and tasty, good sized portions. Service was qhick and the cafe was clean, tidy and warm. Staff were very good and friendly.

Tasty lunch, great portions, food was served quickly, lovely clean environment - if you get egg on your breakfast make sure you specify how you like it cooked as my yolk came out runny and I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. I was still happy with the meal as I like runny eggs - chips were cooked to perfection, hot chocolate was delicious they definitely use quality chocolate to make them. Would definitely come back!

Personal amable, servicio rápido. Buena comida y café. Los huevos estaban perfectamente cocinados, corridos pero no demasiado corridos. Restaurante limpio y bien cuidado, mesas y sillas limpias no olía a grasa como otros cafés.

Great honest Caffe ! Owners are super dedicated to this place , always very friendly , helpful, and taking care of good atmosphere! All food is fresh and prepared with care , great place for breakfast, lunch or coffe with cake! Very clean , and not pricey at all !! One of best places to go grab a bite locally ;)

Nice cooked breakfast and chilli and Chips off the specials board for my partner. All very good quality and freshly cooked home made food. Great friendly service and great value for money.

Terrible vegetarian breakfast cooked with meat tasted of meat. They burnt the toast and still served it to us. Not impressed.

Had a great Scottish breakfast here, I had been trying to get a table here for days, but it was always really busy! I found out why, foods great, stall really pleasant, and their Espresso was top notch.

I ordered a scone with butter and jam and a cappuccino and my friend a single espresso macchiato. All food were delicious! And the ladies are very kind!!

I haven't been into the Koffee Pot since it re-opened again. It is absolutely lovely, so clean, friendly still as it's still Mother & daughter owners. Had a Cheese and Onion Toastie with side salad, and was very tasty. Prices are very reasonable too, and the good thing about my mug of tea is they give you milk separate, and keep the tea bag in, and they actually give you a saucer to put your used tea bag on. 10 out of 10 today girls. Thank you so much. X

Was told they only serve takeaways when we asked for breakfast. However, the cafe was open and breakfast was on the menu. There was also clearly a customer eating breakfast in the cafe atm when we left. I'm not sure what is wrong with them but I didn't ever get any explanation for that. Based on the reviews here on Google, the staff seems to treat customers differently.

He visitado para desayunar un par de veces ahora para un desayuno en solitario. La comida tiene una buena relación calidad-precio y el café viene en una taza grande y estaba buenísimo. Vale la pena una visita si no estás buscando comida sin sentido y relación calidad-precio.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone ! Asked for 4 piece breakfast and got some of what I ordered with no toast and milk in a dirty cup so then put milk in a hot cup ? !! Woman asked if I wanted normal or Diet Coke and I asked for normal but gave me diet (wasn’t sure of this was a joke?) and for my partner his square sausage wasn’t even cooked and we weren’t the only customers who thought there attitude was terrible as another 2 customers walked out and stated “am not spending anymore money In here you are always rude” and left !! Just a total bad experience!

terrible service, nice to other customers but not kind to me for unknown reason. Served me with neither tea nor coffee which is on the menu, gave me a cheap water and charged 1 pound for that. I thought she is using water to instead. When asking her, only a ‘sorry’ with a impatient face.

Went here both days I was in Edinburgh for breakfast. Coffee was awesome, service was really fast and friendly. Cash only but there is an at literally outside the door.

I love this place its fab i would recommend it if your in town staff friendly people nice.

First time today and it was very nice. Had a lovely mocha. Ladies running it were friendly and smiley and it was table service which I wasn't expecting. Great for a quiet bite to eat or drink .

Un salto aquí y nos acercamos a la barra para un simple bollo de desayuno para llevar. La chica que sirve de mi inglés era muy limitado y creo que la única palabra en inglés que conocía era "lo siento" es. Después de tener que repetirlo varias veces que sólo quería un huevo frito y salchichas roll para llevar ella todavía no podía llegar a mí y me pidió que escriba mi orden! La dueña de este lugar es realmente encantador, sin embargo, este colega era terrible. Cuando pagué me corto cambiado por £2. 70 y me hizo consciente de esto que de nuevo con su única Palabra inglés perdón y me dio el cambio. Roll agradable sin embargo.

The waitress (who I think is the owner?) was incredibly rude and was almost crying when we moved a table to accommodate our larger group. I would have understood had the restaurant not been empty. In hindsight, we should have taken the empty restaurant as a sign. The meal took forever to come out, we had to ask for toast three separate times (they only have a four slice toaster), they forgot two coffees, and two breakfast specials came without hash browns. When it came time to pay, it turned out it was cash only, which was not advertised anywhere. We were not told at all. The waitress/owner also shortchanged everyone when paying. Seriously, do not go here. Go literally anywhere else. Even the coffee was piss-poor. Stay away. One star is too many.

A very cozy and bright place on the main Street of gorgie. Delicious tea and some good breakfast. Finally tried a cafe in this area. Definitely coming back again.

I love the food and the people that work there. I can't wait to have breakfast there again. Their breakfast was so inexpensive and filling too. Their tea was great.

We stopped in here to have a quick drink and snack. They are lovely! Be patient English is not their first language. Great coffee.

Have popped in here for breakfast on several occasions - their double rolls are very tasty and excellent value and they serve decent coffee too. If you're really hungry I can recommend the large full breakfast too !

Un desayuno escocés completo con tostadas y té por sólo 5 libras no se estornudó. Fue servido caliente y deliciosa. Algunos lugareños eran simplemente tomando un té o café, sentados mirando el mundo pasar en Gorgie Road.La única sorpresa fue el 80 cargos pence para una parte de plástico de mermelada. Incluso en restaurantes pijos sólo he cobrado 40 pence para un poco de tarro de vidrio de mermelada.

Me apetecía desayuno y hacen una oferta increíble por £4,99 , desayuno y un café/té/leche. Sin embargo, me dijo hola cuando entré en me preguntó si iba a llevar un asiento y la camarera jugó en ella teléfono hasta que pregunté si podía pedir!! También no preguntar si quería pan o tostadas y no hay elección de blanco o marrón (no estoy seguro si puedes elegir). La comida estaba bastante bien para el precio, pero el menú estaba pegajosa ?con grasa, etc, no es una buena señal de higiene. Algunos cambios y sería genial!!
