Trad boozer. No frills. Not your pine flooring, gastro pub. Full or urban professionals. Aimed for those who want a good drink after work. Attentive bar staff. Mostly lager but one real ale which was well kept. Dart board fruit machines and Sky sports. Liked it.

Visited The Kings Arms for the first time yesterday, such a nice pub with a great atmosphere. The Sunday roast was excellent. Loads of seating outside to enjoy the sunshine and a drink in the sun!

Great atmosphere, bubbly and welcoming staff. Lovely layout for those dining or having a casual drink. Was really nice to be able to play a few games of darts and enjoy a rare child free evening. Will definitely be back for food next time.

Local boozer with tv and nice atmosphere. A far cry from the rather 'posh' Kings Arms Hotel of my youth, and now a townie pub with good beer (not much choice) and mega packets of crisps. Just as well because the kitchen is sadly defunct. Charming bar staff.

It's a classic sports pub. Beer selection is a bit minimal. Staff and clientele are friendly. If you want to watch a match it's good...

Friendly pub. Also the only pub in the town to show football

Very busy, but the staff were very good, exceptional service. We had the carvery for Sunday lunch, great choice of vegetables. We decided that the only problem was that the plates were too small as we wanted more! Desserts were lovely, not a lot of choice of desserts, but enough to have to deliberate for a few moments. Wine menu was good, available by the glass or bottle. Would definitely recommend. Caters for dogs too, even with their own menu! 👍

Amazing food and a friendly atmosphere. Very good menu and reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back when next in Lyme Regis.

Great venue for lunch, always busy, good food at reasonable prices. Until today, prices have risen, the place was half empty, the food still good but not exceptional so why the price hike? My breaded plaice with chips, peas and tartare sauce was £16.99! It was nice enough, not outstanding and available elsewhere in Sidmouth for a lot less. If they want more profit and less customers I think this approach will work, we will think twice before returning as there are many other places to eat locally that offer better value for similar food.
