Popped out from van build meetup at Willow Fields campsite and followed CAMRA trail to the Kings Arms .. another great unspoilt real ale pub with Wensleydale ales on hand-pulls with specials featured on a regular basis. No food but excellent choice of beers with plenty of options. A proper drinkers pub!

Every time we have been we have had such a warm welcome. It's a lovely pub reasonably priced. Nice little stop off for bikers as well, so looking forward to going back

Lovely village pub with a really friendly atmosphere. Nice outside area. Dog friendly & great landlord & staff. Excellent homemade food. Steak & Ale pie was one of the best we’ve had 👍🏻

20 High StreetAlthough we had booked for a meal , no record was found. However we were accommodated in the best seats in the restaurant. The server was attentative, gave advice on the wines and gave great service. Being a bit of a foodie and seeing the fairly limited menu, I was suspect to see the quality. I am so pleased to say I was so wrong. The food was the best I have eaten in a long time. All 4 of the group were enchanted by the starters and mains. The desserts were superb and filling. I was unable to normally part take in my cheese board as my waist line was at its limit. As one of the party has a birthday tomorrow they were given their mains free. I never realised we had such a lovely place so close to us. Keep up the excellent work.

9 South Street West ButterwickHad Sunday lunch cannot praise it enough,choice of meat,turkey etc,lots of veg,Yorkshire pudding and lovely gravy,staff were pleasant, nothing was too much trouble,will definitely be returning

Sylvester Streetcharlotte and luke are doing a great job. always welcoming with a smile and a chat. the bar staff are great and pull a great pint (especially guiness). karaoke and disco nights always a laugh. just what it needed!
