Hello small people in my phone! I've entered this establishment many times, but never on purpose. Fortunately, each time I commune with my ancestors after, they seem pleased with my actions. Overall, I'm convinced this pub has a form of ward, perhaps it is protected against evil spirits? Lovely to see a nightclub going the extra mile. I'm sick of being attacked by Yokai at mangoes. They throw eggs at me and tell me "go egg boy go". Egg boy out.

I visited during the Aberfest Celtic weekend and couldn't help noticing that the entire floor area was sticky, presumably from unwiped drinks spills.There were Celtic dancers to live music,which was fun, but I wondered how they got on with such a claggy surface. The staff were very pleasant but the decor was beyond modern functional,bare really,and a difficult site given pillars and fixed table sitings.Somehow an uncomfortable experience for a day visit and maybe better with drink flowing and music,though a clean floor would be a start. It's under some refurbishment now (late May 2024) or so it seems..

Brandon hosts the most amazing emo night any of us could ask for, he caters for everyone inclusive of people who are not alternative. I appreciate everything the staff do for us on a Monday night, and I strongly recommend coming out on emo night.

Great place for a night out at uni, everyone complains it is small but doesn't make a difference, great throwback 2000s music that is actually good (unlike mangos). good drinks and shots. only downside is probably the fact that bouncers can be rude sometimes.

Your emo/rock night was a joke. The DJ put on emo songs, over many hours put on two rock/metal songs. Everyone loved the two metal songs. Even the barmaids were making jokes about him. Said he'd put on my request of Pantera Cowboys from hell on twice. Totally lied. Suggest he gets a job he has a clue about and realises he doesn't know what rock/metal is. Silly child.

Had a dance here on our night out - long queue to get in but had some fun - the dance space isn’t that large but the music was good. We had a fun time as a group. It can turn into a very sweaty experience.

Good music but was a sweat box when I last visited

Please, I beg, get a new DJ. It’s not even funny at this point. Does he even know what a BPM is? Love the house rum.

Fantastic experience I called in as a single female staff didn't make me feel awkward. Service was perfect the chef even brought out the food. Food was top quality. Highly recommend.

Great staff. All really friendly!! Ordered a vegan burger that was really tasty. The chef came out himself with a massive smile on his face to ask if I wanted vegan cheese on it. Great atmosphere.

Poor chef is running from the kitchen to the tables to talk to the people why the food is not ready yet, while the staff is chatting in the corner. Disorganized. Food was ok. Chef is good, but need a new staff

The staff seem to spend most of there time on there laptop and no customer relations.

A great place for a pint and sit and watch life walking by and in the evening great intertainment.

The worst place I have ever been. Rubbish service and the staff and very rude. DO NOT GO HERE! Stupidly high prices aswell. Avoid this bar

What a lovely pub, staff were very covid aware and beer was nice. Decor and music were tasteful so what's not to like?

Seems to be the "go to place" on saturday nights. They were open until some silly hour. It does get very busy, and I mean very busy! Very young crowd, very loud.

Had a swift half in here. Pub's okay. In the centre of Falmouth.

Lovely pub and they were lovely to my dog making sure he had water and a small bowl of treats. Would recommend a visit

Great pub, good selection of beer and cider, very secure, the security does very regular checks on the bar & loos.

This was the last place we stopped at on a night out and I did not disappoint, great variety of music, very quick bar service and staff were all very helpful! Great way to end a night out with some friends! Atmosphere was incredible the whole time we was there! Highly reccomened!

Tuesday night quiz is a whole lots of fun. Laughed my head off!

This place is a great laugh, love going here for a dance in the evening. It's free to get in and it's not packed full, they play a GREAT range of music and it's never the same each time! (There are a lot of older men here who do seem to come to watch the younger ones dance but you do get them everywhere I suppose)

Really enjoyed our meal and the staff are very polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for me would definitely go again.

Very nice lunch on Sunday, roasts were very nice, in particular the veggie version.

The French onion soup is to die for.

Smartly presented pub obviously aimed at customers younger and trendier than me.

Frankly fabulous. The best onion rings we had ever eaten, and that was just the garnish. Nicely dressed salad and the burgers were top notch. Definitely returning.

Love this pub, always welcoming with great service

It's been many years since I last visited this pub. It has had a serious makeover and it was great to relax on a nice leather sofa and drink a nice pint.

This used to be one of the best places for both locals and visitors alike... A genuine old world traditional Cornish Bar/restaurant.. Now a disco bar that's both run down and dated.. Shame.

Popped in for lunch. Very welcoming & pleasant little place, staff very polite, food very good & thoroughly enjoyed.

I rate this place quite high after the refurb however after a few casual friendly beers at the chainlocker i was turned away at the door by the new female door staff due to being drunk and disorderly, apparently chatting friendly with friends while crossing a road is drunk and disorderly. After this we walked 100m down to Toast to which the experience door staff laughed and said this is a reaccuring problem with that particular staff member. Sadly due to this I will not be returning until either a full appology is given or said door staff has left.

Visited this family friendly pub for a drink and a meal, very good food, friendly staff, well recommended.

Ive been visiting this place for many years. Truethly i miss the old layout and its horseshoe bar but the changes are nice and i know the issues they encountered whilst doing so. The owner was a previous local to this bar and is a well respected guy, he has been sure to keep the pubs integrity intact. The beer on offer is fair and the menu looked good. I hope this important landmark pub remains open for many more years to come and never looses it's touch!

Newly refurbished bar, tidy bar friendly staff, and good food.

Went to Falmouth for a day trip with my mum. We were looking for a place to eat and noticed the good price for a roast outside and popped in. I am a mystery shopper for certain places and the service you get here is second to none. We asked for no leeks on our roasts and more gravy and both was done without a problem. Even got abit of the history of the building when I asked a question . It's great service, great value and a great little building which is full of life.we will return when next in the area :)

This pub is awful. Unsanitary environment with unbelivably disrespectful staff. I was physically attacked by an extremely unprofessional security member on a night out. Not long after buying two overpriced and distasteful cocktails I was denied access into the pub after smoking a cigarette. Upon speaking reasonably to the security members on duty I was physically removed and punched in the face, baring in mind I was showing no agressive behaviour. The same security guard then wagered to me that he'd buy me alcohol if I managed to get into any other club in Falmouth, once I was then openly accepted into a club he got into his car and drove away. Upon speaking to the head security guard about the situation, Charlie told me she didn't care and was unconcerned toward my safety. I was disgusted with the professionalism of staff members and will be taking this matter further in connection with Cornwall and Devon police. The kings pub is a small venue in Falmouth with unprofessional staff and unprofessional facilities at professional rates. I would not recommend spending a second of your time here, instead I would recommend a venture further down the high street where safe and welcoming environments can ensure the quality of your night.

We were on a day trip to Falmouth from St Ives. After an hour or so, our minds turned to lunch. We came across The Kings, and decided to go in. What a nice vibe, so we decided to have lunch. The food came and was delicious, we also loved the local ale. Definitely a place to visit next time we come to Falmouth. Thanks to all the staff including the chef who makes the loveliest cheesy garlic bread 🖒

Chronic chafe but enjoyable visit

Renovated and refurbished. It used to be a little run down but is now a modernised and contemporary pub. Not the widest selection of ales available but all served with a friendly manner.

Had a great lunch today. Matt behind the bar was very warm and welcoming as ever. Great deal for toasties and sandwiches with a nice side salad and proper french fries. Vincent the new chef seemed to be very passionate and even came out to check everything tasted good - which it did. Never been for food before only ever had drinks. But will definitely be back! Thank you team.

Gross, aber trotzdem gemütlich, hervoragende Ale-Auswahl, nette Bedienung, gute Musik. Recht leer gewesen.

Like walking into a time warp. A proper pub (pool table and all). We visited at lunch time (Friday) so it was rather quiet, we didnt eat there but a few others were - the food looked good and it was competitively priced. We had one of the local beers which was well kept and went down a treat.
