The Kimchi in Norwich

I came here with three friends last month whilst we were staying in Norwich. We were more than impressed with the service and food; it was amazing!!!! Our servers were kind and helpful, the food was brought out incredibly fast and the ambience of the restaurant was lovely. We got the rosé Toppoki and the usual Toppoki, the Jinju tapas and the Korean Fried Chicken. Everything was so insanely good, and portion sizes were huge! We could not stop talking about it on our walk back to where we were staying. Thank you for a lovely meal on the last day of our trip! Highly recommend!

Came here on 4th June for my birthday with my partner. We had booked for 6pm and turned up 5 minutes early, they sat us down immediately and were so lovely! They gave us the appropriate time before taking our order and our drinks turned up straight away. Food was out within 10 minutes and was TO DIE FOR! The rosé Toppoki was so good especially! Everything was service with a smile and so efficient! The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely, you really feel like they've invited you in to their space and it's very intimate and comfortable. The price was so decent for Norwich as well and we made sure to leave a tip as the staff were brilliant. 100% would go back and we are planning on doing so for our next date night! Support local businesses! I would choose this over a chain any day, you get quality on everything!

Friendly staff, restaurant is in a small space so a bit tight (and definitely worth reserving a table beforehand) but the food is absolutely delicious. Ordered pork dumplings, rice, beef bulgogi and glazed korean fried chicken. I look forward to visiting again!

I have been here a few times, and the food has been impeccable each time. Although there are not many covers, the restaurant always has a busy atmosphere, and the food is always incredible. However! I don't often leave reviews, but I thought it was necessary in this case. The Female manager in the Kimchi and Seoul Born is incredibly rude to both her staff and, in some cases, customers. It was the worst this Valentine's Day when I was in with two friends. From the start of the shift, the woman shouted at the two staff members who were only doing their jobs and doing them well, from what I could see. It made our whole party feel very uncomfortable and bad for the staff members. Every time we have been, all the staff has been excellent to us, answering all our questions and being very friendly even when the restaurant is full, and there are only two waiters. In the Valentine situation and another one more recently, it was the Guy and the crab necklace girl who served us. They work very professionally and if anyone should be giving a lecture on anything customer service, it should be them.

Came here recently for the first time with friends after several word of mouth recommendations. The place is small and cosy; the staff are super friendly and helpful; the food tastes great and comes in generous portions; all at a very reasonable price! All in all, a fantastic meal out!
