The Kettlethorpe in Wakefield

Didn't visit but was cutting the grass at the side of the pub. Under new ownership just need people to go in.

Terrible service, terrible room don't bother.

Had a brilliant time a this pub Joe the Landlord couldn't help you enough, my brother had to have a rushed wedding and we couldn't find anywhere to have his reception till Joe sorted it out for us in less then 6 weeks. They function room as well as the pub is so clean I highly recommend this pub for any function nice play area for the kids and does so my for the community and kids it's what every pub should be like

Visited today. Was welcomed by the staff and the customers and felt like i was at home. While i was there i only got a coke as i was driving. Prices was reasonable and they had some music to make it feel more welcoming. While i was there they told me they has bingo and quiz nights through the week. also some live entertained throughout the weekend. They have a slot machine and a pool table which seems well looked after. Was a shame that they was reverbing the kitchen at the time of a visit but Will be looking forwarded to visiting if passing there in the future.

We actually went to the kettlethorpe hotel after my uncles funeral for a few sandwiches and tea/coffee, they were very welcoming and the food they put on was lovely and tasty and displayed very well...they left us to talk between ourselves and kept an eye on the buffet which they kept the table tidy and looking inviting throughout ghe time we were there..i wish to thank them for the few hours we had with our family's to catch up, as well as talk about our relative who had died.. I would recommend anyone in the area to look at the Kettlethorpe hotel for any kind of function ....you will not be disapointed

Great place to relax and have a drink or two either in the pub or beer garden round the back.

Event was brilliant but venue was very hot and noisy. Slow to serve at the bar.

Great pub, the staff and the owners were brilliant. My Sons wedding reception there was brilliant.

Always a warm welcome when you arrive, a great selection of beers, cider, wines and spirits all very reasonably priced. The recent refurbishment just adds to the package! It’s now my favourite pub in the area

The newly refurbished Kettlethorpe is now a lovely place to enjoy a pint. The function room looks lovely and is fabulous addition to hold a party for any occasion.

Just been into kettlethorpe hotel for first time,absolutely delightful good service friendly people highly recommended.

Came for a wake and the staff and manager couldn't do enough for us as a family food is absolutely amazing went above and beyond for us and to make things better a butterfly also called to see us

Had a great christmas day aft propper local and JOE THE landlord has done wonders with the place

The new owner has done an amaizing job of turning the old pub around now it is so clean and has the floor social distantancing markers that the old landlord didn't put in well done to the new landlord you have turned this pub around.😃

I say! The customer service at this establishment was absolutely appalling me and the mandem was gonna play a bit of pool but were told we cant play without buying a drink, this is fair enough but when they said drink the landlords forgot to mention the fact it had to be bloody alcohol! You are a pub you have other drinks me and de boys didn't want booze just a friendly game of pool, well it twas ok in the end we wandered to de gaff of blazes. Good day

The place is closed down, available To Let. Update, apparently it's reopen under new management. Looks better from the outside, unsure about the interior.

Absolutely love this pub, it has got great potential, lots of land to it too. The Landlord & landlady are down to earth, the people are very friendly, i could make it my local if only i lived closer..

Kettlethorpe hotel is the dogs bollocks apart from idiot bloke sat in main entrance blocking everybodyfrom getting in. Apart from that get yourself in.

If u like sniffing coke of the table than this is the place to drink oh and bring a coat as the landlord never puts heating on
